We met some friends here for bingo night and had some food and drinks. I had the Pulled Pork sandwich, which was delicious. The pork was super tender and the Memphis style sauce had a good flavor. My wife had the Rachel and she really enjoyed it. I got waffle fries with mine, and she had tots, both done very well (not soggy and also not overcooked). We commented that we were glad we did not get an appetizer as we were both satisfied and could not eat any more. The service was good, but a little slower due to it being busy. We would definitely return!

Nice place. This was my first stop after moving to the area. I got the pasta and my roommate got a burger. Both were really good. Service was also thorough and efficient. Will definitely be back

this restaurant is your classic sports bar. bar, high top tables, regular tables, and booths. The booths are huge! my tall husband loved them. there are tvs everywhere and some arcade games. The food portions are large, and it was very tasty. This is a relaxing, casual eatery. a good place to go with friends to hang out and watch the game. A good place to go when you are craving a burger. A good place to go when you are hungry and don't want to cook. the staff were friendly and the service was good. The music playing was country. That could be a deal breaker for some people. I don't know if that's standard or just what was playing the day we were there. We didn't mind.

Typical sports bar atmosphere. It was crowded and noisy due to a special event. Service was good. It took a little while to get the burgers, but understandable with the crowd. Burgers were good. 1/3 pound and done to medium. Brioche bun, was perhaps a little too soft for the size of the burger. Fries looked good. Waffle fries a little overdone. Seasoned sour cream was good.

Had a takeout salad - southwest salad. A bit pricey for a salad - but generous portion and moist shredded chicken, very well seasoned! Pico de Gallo is SPICY! This place has been around forever and is a great neighborhood sports bar. Waitress was helpful and service was quick.

Steak bites are really good!!! You get a decent amount of bites and a boat load of delicious Flatbread with them!

It was a nice place to grab lunch. It was quiet during the lunch rush on a Monday. They have TV's all over so you can watch sports or whatever you want. Our waitress was friendly and helpful and check in on us regularly. The food was good as well and came with descent portion sizes. I would return again.

Stopped in for a drink and dessert. It was Bingo night and we got there just a bit too late to play. Sat at the bar, which was fine. The bartender was nice and took our order almost right away. Decent local bar and grill spot it seemed.

Our bar tender was Jamie and she was a DOLL. our food was tasty. I got the taco and tots entre and was pleasantly surprised by how flavorful it was since its hard finding things outside of bar food in the burbs. My sweetie has a burger and it was a smidge overcooked but still delicious.

I love there Cobb salad. Recommend it with the teriyaki chicken. Meat raffle, pull tabs, and bar bingo. Quick service. No patio. Lots of parking for guests. Booths, tables, and high tops available for those who prefer certain seating over others.

First time there (after a long work day)! Spacious but filled up quick because of trivia night. Ordered a drink, totchos and the steak bite dinner. Drink was pricy in my opinion -$10 for a long island and not even the best one I've had. Totchos were good! The steak dinner was disappointing.. Looked very good but there was no seasoning at all on the steak. I was too tired to send it back to the kitchen and wait for them to redo it so I ate it. Would I go back? Yes, but won't be ordering a LIIT lol

Good food and server Bailey was very good. Chili is excellent but it is spicy. I ordered sour cream to add for a topper and that did the trick. California burger was cooked to perfection also. Great neighborhood place 😊

Tried the cheese fries and they were delicious. My husband had the steak bites and he asked for medium but they were definitely more “well done.” It was a karaoke night and that was entertaining. All the food was still very tasty!

Howdy, partner! I recently stopped by Shortstop in Fridley and let me tell ya, it was a real feast. The menu selection had a great variety of classic American dishes to choose from, and everything was downright delicious. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with a charming decor that made for a great dining experience. And the quality of service was top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff who made sure every customer was well taken care of. Highly recommend for a tasty meal in Fridley!

Good burgers and wings! Sunday Bingo is always a lot of fun. we had a small retirement party get together here and the staff were so friendly and accommodating.

Only reason I am giving even 1 star is because the food I ordered was correct. Other than that worst service I have had in years! When asked about what beers they have, the server replied well what do you want or like. My husband asked about a tap he hadn't heard of and the server shrugged her shoulders. Server never checked on us, no drink refills. Finally after our plates are stacked in the middle of the table and cups sitting at the end of the table waiting did she come over to ask how it was going. I asked for the tab, paid and left. Never going back. Food was okay, not horrible but not great. This could be excused but add the horrible service on top of it and now I'm here posting this review.

1 out of 4 liked food. Of course it's hard to screw up a sandwich. Fish and chips fish was drenched in grease. Steak bites had mushrooms even tho she asked for no mushrooms and the steak was as tough as hockey pucks the chips from the queso were stale and were supposed to be removed from bill but weren't Do Not Order Long Islands gin and lemon were the only thing you could taste. THIS IS A SHORT STOP FOR REAL will never come back terrible food terrible drinks terrible service

Love the vibe and energy here even on a slower Sunday. The server was lovely and the bartender was heavy handed in a wonderful way! The drinks were spot on, and the food was actually really really delicious! Their shortys burger and wings are amazing! Just moved to the area and I can see this is our new favorite spot! try their top shelf Long Island ice tea A+ service

Chicken tenders were good and fries were average. Service was super slow! Our waitress kept ignoring us and never even asked how the food was. Finally one of the bartenders noticed we were trying to flag down our waitress and at least got us some refills.

Our server was fantastic! I didn't catch their name, but they were awesome! Very nice, I think they were the only one working during bingo, place was packed! The food was great, will definitely be back! The bingo caller said the numbers weird so it was hard to understand, but other than that it was a very good experience.

Been here a hundred times. Great place to hang out. Long term business with great people. Food is generally very good, service always good.

About a week ago I ordered THE WORKS burger and fries!!!! Now that is a burger!!! Absolutely delicious and good price !!!! Service was phenomenal !!! Ready in 10 minutes and they came out to accommodate me!!!! This burger was so huge I could barely get my mouth around it and it took me two days to eat it....... About to call and order another one !!!!!!!!

We love Shortstop! We go here almost weekly to eat! They have bingo, karaoke, and lots of other fun events! Our favorite plates are the steak bites and bang bang shrimp!

The three of us stopped in for breakfast on Saturday morning. The coffee was weak and not hot. We ordered the cheesy hash browns. They came in a very small portion and they were cold. The toast was not buttered so it was really dry. We were there on Friday the night before and had a Juicy Lucy burger. It was literally raw in the middle. Service was just okay. Prices were very high. Dont think we will go back.
