Best climbing gym in Adelaide. I have climbed at all of the gyms in Adelaide but ABC is by far the most enjoyable. If you like that wholesome community feel with very well thought out climbs, then ABC is where you need to go. The climbs there are so diverse. Roof, vertical, slab and overhang. Many flowy climbs that just feel so cool. Whenever I climbed there it felt like a really good challenge. Also extremely friendly staff who are always helpful. Anytime I needed any help or advice they were fantastic. Cannot wait to come back to Adelaide and climb here again!

Love this place. While the aesthetic is more old-school garage gym, the setting is great and mimics outdoor climbing, the staff are fun and helpful, and the tunes are always on point. The community here is open and easy to crack into. A great place for beginners and experienced folks alike.

My daughter has been climbing at ABC since she was 5, 3 years now. You couldn't find a more family friendly, kid friendly gym. The coaches and staff always there to assist, always friendly, always professional. My daughter has even had one on one coaching, booked separately at added cost, well worth it. If your child loves to climb I highly recommend ABC. I know my daughter comes away after each training session feeling strong and good about herself, it instills confidence.

I haven't been to a gym or any other sort of fitness centre. The vibe get from here is very comforting and there is no embarassing moments rock climbing. It's definitely challenging, and strength takes a while to build up and learning how best to scale a wall. But aI don't feel any judgement happens here and people come in groups of friends and it's a positive, social kinda of atmosphere. I even brought a friend last time and we had a good time

I visited here today on the suggestion of a climbing friend. The staff where very helpful, I felt welcome and most of all safe. All in all: A great bunch of human beings and a great facility! I'm 100% hooked now. :-)

My sons and I love ABC. It’s laid back, friendly. They have great bouldering problems and super coaches. The kid’s climbing has improved out of site since joining the team. Definitely recommend!

Good price. I had to find someone to welcome us as they were busy chatting, and dealing with there toddler. 2 sisters were running things tonight. I signed my 15 year old son up for a group session. I explained at booking and when we arrived he had never done this before. The group went off for warm up then were told to go and climb. No teaching no help. I could see my son was getting frustrated. I went and spoke to the lady, she spent maybe a minute talking to him then left him to it again. Then a man instructor stepped in and started showing my son how to do it, if it was not for him we would have left! He was amazing and showed he the how to do it. The lady instructor didn't even have climbing shoes on she was wareing thongs. While we were there there were 2 toddlers running around, and a maybe a 6 year old doing cartwheels around there were several near misses. Very disappointed will not return.

The only club-based climbing facility in the State, and the only one I know of in Australia with its own climbing/training facility. The best coaches by far, so many kids' squads. Don't bother with a commercial facility that's only interested in your dollars, be part of a community! You'll probably make dinner great new friends too 😊 Casual daily memberships through to monthly and annual.

Sweet, cute, wholesome, man it's all about the vibe. This lovely climbing gym is so welcoming to new visitors and old veterans. I've been to some other climbing gyms in Adelaide, all of which have quality climbs. What sets ABC ahead of the rest in my opinion is the sense of community and shared development. Come with friends or come solo, it's as easy as A B C.

First time in and was told not to use chalk because of corona, as we were leaving some regulars came in and were allowed to use chalk... Definitly not new climber friendly, with very difficult starts, and overlapping problems of the same colour. Some of the people I came with had a less than excellent climb as they could only top about 2 problems in the whole gym. Not very safe either with loose holds, splintering walls, poor quality mats, and no downclimbs.

I feel blessed to have met so many wonderful people through this club. It is more than a non-for profit club, it's a community. A truly down to earth family place I know I can come to, no matter what mood I'm in. I always love smashing to climbs here, and progresing.
