Cafe Everest

Restaurant Family restaurant Indian restaurant Asador Halal restaurant Pakistani restaurant Nepalese restaurant Momo restaurant

😠 I ordered Veg Momo, Pork Chaumein and Pork Sekuwa. There was no pickle aka achar for the momo, like how do you even forget pickle for the momo? I swear I can make better chaumein than this restaurant. Chaumein was greasy, oily, and not even cooked well. Worst sekuwa I’ve ever eaten in my whole life.... People often mention restaurant, delicious, metal, wire,

I ordered Veg Momo, Pork Chaumein and Pork Sekuwa. There was no pickle aka achar for the momo, like how do you even forget pickle for the momo? I swear I can make better chaumein than this restaurant. Chaumein was greasy, oily, and not even cooked well. Worst sekuwa I’ve ever eaten in my whole life. Sekuwa pork was burnt out and had rice in it like tf…. Instead of typical pork meat there was rice mixed with the sekuwa… They should hire some chief instead of some amateur cook… I wasted my money for nothing… I love Nepali food but Cafe Everest ain’t it for the ultimate satisfaction and pleasure of the Nepali cuisines.

I've had Nepali cuisine in Nepal and here at Cafe Everest. I can assure you that they taste authentic. Every item we tried was so delicious that we are certain we will return, despite the fact that it is a one-hour drive away. The best part is that they also serve halal food and the price is very reasonable. I do not have enough words to describe the owner and his staff. They are all so sweet and humble. It was our first visit to this restaurant, and it was almost closing time, but they made us feel welcome and made sure we got everything we wanted.

Avoid this place for your own health and safety! On our recent takeout order, we found a sharp metal wire in our food. The wire was small enough to be swallowed, and the tips were sharp enough to cause damage. It resembled a bristle from one of those metal grill brushes with burnt food baked on it. If you do a Google search on swallowing metal wires, you will find that it is very dangerous and potentially fatal. I searched the remaining food for additional metal wires and threw everything in the garbage. For the next couple of days, I was very anxious that I had accidentally swallowed a metal wire and would have to go to the ER for surgery. Additionally, I called to inform them about the wire and asked for the owner. An employee picked up the phone and claimed to be the owner until I asked for their name to confirm their ownership. They refused to give their name and denied being the owner. When I asked when I could speak with the owner, the employee instructed me to call back on Tuesdays. However, when I initially called on a Tuesday, nobody answered because they were closed. This employee was being untruthful and subsequently handed the phone to another person. The next person confirmed their use of wire and apologized. Regarding the pictures I'm including in this review, the wire was initially straight, and I bent it to see what material it was. I later confirmed that it is indeed metal using a magnet. Avoid this place for the sake of your health, safety, mental well-being, ER trips, and surgeries.

Very unique and interesting food. I particularly enjoyed the chicken Momo which was definitely a treat. This place could do good if it expanded into a true restaurant. The dine in experience leaves much to be desired though the food is excellent. Keep up the good work and think of investing in expanding if you can. I'll be back.

I’m so pleased with my experience here! I can’t wait to return for the friendly service and flavorful food. You start off with free lentil soup. Then I got chicken momos. My friend had vegetable thukpa. Everything was amazing/perfect. This restaurant is in a small plaza so be mindful of going in and out and the other cars too.

Absolutely incredible food and spectacular flavors. Authentic food from Nepal. Definitely don’t judge this restaurant by the outside. Go inside and try it out if you have an expanded pallet and respect for delicious food. Thank you Chef Dhan! Wow. I will 100% be back.

Jhol MoMo - Must try. Momos in spicey soup. Fish Cury - It’s little sweet. Let them know if you want it little spicy. Mangonada - Mango pulp with mouth watering tamarind covered straw. TARA was very kind and service was so good. Definitely coming back!!

First time trying Nepalese food and wow! The food was absolutely fantastic. Went with a some friends and we tried a variety of dishes including the samosa Chaat, momo, tikka masala, spicy Szechuan chicken and goat Choila. All of these were phenomenal. The chicken is so tender and the goat is seasoned very well. Samosa Chaat and Momos were delicious and honestly could have ordered multiple plates of those and been happy. Come give this place a try!

The food was incredible! So well seasoned and delicious. The Mango Lassi was the best I've ever had. We also tried the momos, tikka masala saag, chicken korma and lamb biryani. All amazingly flavorful. This is one of the best restaurants in Cleveland for sure. Highly recommend!

Absolutely fantastic. Food was incredible. I can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu! I wouldn’t dine in if I was in a hurry, because it took a while from when we were seated to be served our entrees.

Orders goat askew. The goat was burnt, tough, flavorless - I couldn't eat it! The momo was OK but definitely soggy. This order was from January 21. I don't know which cook was there that day but they just slapped my food together. Yuck!

Salty dal makhani, uncooked mutter in paneer butter masala for mutter paneer. The worst Indian restaurant in cleveland without doubt. Submitting this as we are paying the bill.
