Best cafe in Ashfield. Had a great time with nice food and coffee. The friendly owner serves the best service all the time.

This place is on a busy road yet they still manage to put on a good breakfast and make you forget the cars zooming by. We'll done. The food was awesome and well cooked and the price isn't too bad either. The portions are good and I'm almost full for once. I know a good warrior should always leave the table a little hungry, but today I won't be doing that. The coffee is good too, and I usually hate coffee. But they managed to make it just right. Another tick in the box for them. Overall this place is a good little Cafe to take a break and eat your tucker in, and to get away from the world for a while. Keep up the good work guys. Lovely local cafe with friendly owners and good food and coffee. As well as the usual rolls and sandwiches, they offer a selection of Asian dishes - I can recommend the dumplings! Parking relatively easy on side streets.

We visited Coffee Island whilst we was visiting Sydney as it was down the road from our hotel. The owners are very nice and made us very welcome. We found the food to excellent and reasonably priced. I can highly recommend popping in for a bite to eat when you are feeling hungry.

Unobviously located on Liverpool road, it’s worth making the stop. A small and excellent cafe. Really great coffee with a smile. The blend is strong and dark but not bitter.

My visit to Coffee Island was an absolute delight. The fish avocado wrap I had was incredibly delicious, a perfect blend of fresh flavors that left me thoroughly satisfied. Parking was okay on the side street, there's a quick 15 minute stop just right outside on Gower Street. Windows all round give it a nice bright atmosphere (weather permitting). Nice place for coffee, service from Peter and his wife was impeccable; very friendly and he's got a great memory from previous conversations. Coffee was made quick, hot but not boiling so perfect for consumption. Food was nice and filling. Banana tart had ample cream, made it extra indulgent. Dumplings were made fresh. Great afternoon pick me ups. I don't live close enough to come daily but whenever I'm around I'll definitely pop by. Keep up the great work Coffee Island team!

Great food with a Korean spin. Way better than the previous cafe here. Kid-friendly, neat and tidy. Best thing about this cafe is the friendly owner!

I ordered on Uber and was incredibly disappointed, I ended up paying $80 for a meal that was definitely not worth it. I ordered the tteokbokki and it was not sweet at all, it completely lacked flavour and was just spicy, and the portion was definitely not $30 worth. I’ve had ones for half the price that are about 50 times better, I also request that they not add any of the fish cakes since my partner does not like the taste and instead we ended up with extra fish cake. We also ordered the fried chicken and when it arrived it was these tiny pieces of burn dry chicken, none of the prices were even bigger than half my thumb. The iced coffees were also priced way too high for what they were. They were worst than maccas iced coffees, and maccas iced coffees don’t even have really coffee in them. Overall this place is incredibly over priced, especially for the lack of quality.

I've very recently moved to the area, just around the corner from Coffee Island. So I needed to check out the local cafe! I'm very impressed. I take a decaf long black (I love caffeine but it doesn't love me anymore lol). Very few places make a palatable decaf long black. Coffee Island does! Yay! One of the best I've had. I love the sweet treats too. Once I settle in a bit more, I'll be there for brunch!

Great local cafe. Small menu, but the two items we ordered were really good quality. Coffee is great. Parking is easy. Next time we will try their selection of icecreams. Only negative is the acoustics of the inside makes it very noisy. Even though there is plenty of space.

Lucky to have this local gem in Ashfield. Food is always fresh and delicious and the owner is super friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend their fish burger! Lovely cafe for dining in and also quick and easy to phone in orders for takeaway.

I would recommend this place. Firstly, the coffee was delicious, and it was perfect for a quick and healthy breakfast. Additionally, the staff was friendly, and the cozy atmosphere of the place provided a comfortable space.

I’m so glad this place exists in Ashfield! I grab a coffee from here before taking my baby to Ashfield park for a play and honestly, the coffee is always on point. Great flavour, perfectly made. The Korean couple who run it are the sweetest, always very friendly. I’m looking forward to trying the Korean menu! It looks delicious!

The owners are some of the friendliest people around, and the the food and coffee is always incredible. We come here on weekends to have breakfast and chill, while listening to their great music selections.
