This is the true definition of a hidden gem. Order early, be respectful...they deserve it. Stuffed hot peppers are a 10/10 always, and that sauce is ridiculously good. The sheet pizza is also on point and probably the best I have had in the Cleveland area. Only knock is they wont sell me a few sub buns when I order (I get it... but hook me up with that fresh bread action if im getting peppers and sauce) Doesn't matter. yall are a 11/10 and plz keep doing what you do best <3

After working near this place for the last 5 years, I decided to give it a try. It seemed like an authentic deli and I hoped for the best.. I had the impression that they would make it fresh (and I wanted a hot sub). He handed me a pre packaged sub from the cooler that may have been an order that no one picked up. I watched the guy pack fresh pasta salad in a different container and put fresh dressing on it, while he handed me one again already packaged that was next to the sub. The sub was not good (not much flavor and reminded me of a bologna sandwich). The pasta salad was drenched and so soggy. I wanted this to be my new lunch spot, but unfortunately very underwhelming.

Awesome little Italian Deli. The meatball sub was good and the girlfriend really liked the veggie sub.

OMG sausage sub was delicious and had old school flavor. I was in the are because my son had surgery at the sports center. I will drive the 14 miles/21 minutes from my home to eat there again. I have been looking for that flavor again for a long time. When I walked in it smelled like what I remembered as a child eating from some great pizza bakeries. My experience was Mark Weins should try this place good.

Great food. He bakes his own bread. Grinds his own Italian sausage. Home made marinara sauce. Homemade rigatoni on Tuesday & Thursday's.Try the stuffed Pepper sub ,mild or hot. Or the Meatball sub.Both are the best.

I used to work in the area years ago and would eat here often. I moved away for a long time and was thrilled to see they were not only still here but that the food was as amazing as ever! The hot stuffed pepper sub is the stuff of legends! If ya got the grapes to handle it. 😉

As someone from a hour outside of NYC, a good slice is vital to my diet. This place has the best Slice I've had since moving here and I've tried almost 10 other places. Real Italians making real pizza 8.4 on the Slice.

This was our first visit today on 1-31-2023. We only tried this place based on reviews. We ordered 2 of the pasta specials, according to website it was 7.99 each, price in store, 8.99. Also ordered chicken parm sandwich, and stuff pepper sandwich. The pasta was plentiful, but lacking sauce, and taste very bland. The meatballs are very apparently frozen and not homemade. This place is a quick stop, for daily construction workers in the area, definitely not worth the money they are charging for meals.

The stuffed hot pepper sub and the white pizza are awesome!!!

Best tasting sub I've had in long time

We live an hour and a half away in Ashland County. We just happened to be in the area and wanted to try something "local" and not a chain. We found Deanatella's on "maps". This, by far, is the best food I've ever eaten. We will definitely drive the hour and a half to come back. What a hidden Gem. Thank you to the staff at Deanatella's for makimg suggestions and overall just being great. We've already told friends and family to make the drive. Hopefully we'll see you again soon!

Its a piece of Little Italy deli down in the Valley, staff is awesome... Chicken parmesan on a fresh hoagie style bun is on point... Sausage and peppers with mozzarella on hoagie bun is a favorite along with the fresh made white pizza sold by the slice or the antipasto salad is just delicious. All servings are plentiful. Coca-Cola products.

Bread is made fresh daily and tastes like it too. It was my first time there and Id definitely be going back

The food is great! Pizza is delicious and sold by the slice. Our favorite is the stuffed banana pepper sub and the itialian sub with olive spread.

Hidden gem!!! You have to try the stuffed pepper sub it is incredible and fairly priced. They bake the bread fresh here everyday and offer most things to go. Please do yourself a favor and stop in and try their fresh delicious food.

Best Italian Subs ever!! Why go to Subway when Deanatellas is next door!! Tastes so much better!! Definitely no competition between the two!! Bread is fresh baked, you can order it toasted or not. Pizza is fresh but you do have to ask for it to be warmed. Dint complain if you don't ask!!!

Awesome subs. Great bang for the $, these things are massive. Haven't had pizza but it looks really good. Very fast service. I have no idea how the Subway next door stays in business.

They're pizza by the slice is a nice hunk of bread with some pizza like stuff on it. The soda was good.
