Scotland Island is a wonderful place to kick back and relax and Scotland Island Lodge is a wonderful place to do just that. It is easy to get to by ferry from Church Point. Rosemary and Colin are lovely hosts with a warm welcome. Every morning Rosemary offered a choice of breakfasts with homemade bread and one night she cooked a very yummy dinner. The bed was super comfortable and the shower great. I would love to go and stay again and I highly recommend!

This was the perfect Bed & Breakfast accommodation. Colin and Rosemary were delightful, so helpful and kind and lent a nurturing atmosphere to the place. Rosemary made great dinners and breakfasts, she is a great cook. The lodge was perfectly positioned, not far from the ferry wharf, and with a view of the water through beautiful trees. In the morning and late afternoon, you could see the sunlight shining on the water, and in the evening, the moon shining on the water as well! I had the King Room and it was large with a great view of the water ... and the sunlight and moonlight. I enjoyed swimming from the wharf and Colin and Rosemary kindly arranged a kayak for me, so I kayaked around the island. They have written up details of walks around the island and that was very helpful. It was a very relaxing retreat for two nights in beautiful national park.

What a magic place to stay!!! Rosemary & Colin are wonderful hosts! The food was divine and far superior to the city hotel we stayed at next!! We enjoyed a lovely walk up and over the island with glimpses of the water through the trees. A circuit or two on the Ferry around Pittwater was also very relaxing and such a pretty spot. Highly recommend!! And very easy to get there and back via the B-Line.

Amazing tranquil location after a smooth ferry ride. Colin and Rosemary are consummate hosts full of warmth and hospitality. Their attention to detail is impeccable and nothing is missed. Lemon in water, hand cut butter, homemade breads and jams and even a selection for breakfast. Dinner was a fresh wholesome affair with produce from the garden and good honme cooking. The room was cosy and comfortable and the jacuzzi was hot and soothing (many places the water tends to be tepid). the welcome shortbread made by Rosemary was also a hit. the lodge is certainly a place to recharge, rejuvenate and take a break from the big smoke.

If you need a reset, this is the place to go. We weren’t sure when we arrived if we were going to enjoy our stay. Our minds were quickly put at ease as soon as we came down for dinner and had one of the best meals we have had all year and were placed in fantastic company. Rosemary makes you feel like nothing is to big a question to ask, and you can tell she has been in the bed and breakfast game for a long time. The room was clean tidy and super fresh with lovely little artworks everywhere. Breakfast was incredible, again it seems that no demand is too high and to top this the food is amazing! We felt like we had come home and did not want to leave! We will definitely be back and be telling every one we know to get over to Scotland island for a reset. Thank you for having us.

My partner and I spent a wonderful weekend at Scotland Island. Rosemary and Colin are very caring and kind. The house is perfectly located, is welcoming, well equiped and surrounded by beautiful nature. Every meals were delicious and nourishing. Fresh produce, nourishing food always topped up by the fresh herbs from their garden. I highly recommend to use the kayak to go around the island, and to use the ferry to discover others bays, church point and Elvina waterfall. Many bushwalking to do too!! Melina and Leo

I came across this holiday option through Google as I was visiting Sydney and wanted to spend a few days on Scotland Island. It did not disappoint! The Scotland Island Lodge is the perfect place to unwind, re-charge, and listen to the changing tides of the waterways. I was very happy during my stay. Even wirh inclement weather, the views were beautiful and little ferry around the island and nearby inlets gave a great tour. Oh, and the food! Superb
