The
good:
Portion
sizes
are
massive.
The
attached
photo
is
a
sesame
chicken
combo--after
I
ate
two
servings.
The
food
was
tasty
and
well-prepared.
The
bad:
I
ordered
through
UberEATS
and
was
disappointed
with
requests.
I
asked
for
fried,
instead
of
steamed,
pot
stickers.
They
came
steamed
and
soft,
with
a
minimum
of
toasting
on
one
side.
Also,
I
asked
for
extra
sauce
for
the
dumplings.
The
other
photo
is
the
total
amount
of
sauce
I
received.
The
ugly:
Predatory
charges
on
UberEATS.
I
asked
for
two
substitutions.
One
was
for
vegetable
fried
rice,
instead
of
pork.
Second
was
the
above-mentioned
dumpling
sauce.
Originally,
when
I
saw
the
adjustment,
I
thought
there
was
a
misunderstanding
and
that
I
had
received
both
the
usual
pork
fried
rice
and
vegetable
fried
rice
with
my
combos.
That
was
fine,
maybe
I
wasn't
clear
that
it
was
a
substitution.
This
was
not
the
case.
Looking
at
Wonton
Gourmet's
menu,
vegetable
and
pork
fried
rice
are
the
same
price.
A
little
teriyaki
sauce
is
a
negligible
cost.
Yet,
I
was
charged
$5
in
adjustments
for
my
substitutions.
This
restaurant
is
a
little
pricey,
in
my
opinion,
to
begin
with,
but
this
pushed
it
beyond
reasonable.
Businesses
taking
advantage
of
the
anonymous
nature
of
online
ordering
is
unconscionable.
