This is a really cool little find. Up a path from road level is this small memorial to the Balmoral Tram. Yes there used to be a tram to Balmoral Beach Pavilion. A couple of signs and old rails and other memorabilia mark the spot in the old cutting through the rocks. A bit of Sydney history most people who visit the area wouldn't even know is there.

A small memorial to what remains of the Balmoral to Mosman Junction tram that allowed beach goers to get to Balmoral all the way from Wynyard. The walk is very mild and the cutaway has a small number of artefacts that were donated by the tram museum.

Pleasant bush walk starting at the end of Mulbring Street with a gradual incline down into Balmoral. The cutting and a few historical items such as rails have been added here but most of the walk has reverted to bush with only the birds and water dragons as company.
