Everything we had was amazing! Great little place for lunch with the girls. Huge portions, so bring the husband along. The salad and soup in the pics is the small chicken Ceasar with cup of lobster bisque; we thought the salad was the large on another table so super surprised to find it was the small. All of the desserts were delicious. I got the side of pasta salad with my club; I'd like the recipe😉.

As a 35-year old woman, the vibe felt very "old-ladyish" BUT that is understandable as the while crowd was older woman. The decor is extremely outdated, the fans are VERY dusty and our food took over an hour after placing the order BUT our meals were delicious and large portion sizes. I would definitely come back again w my 60 and up aunts but not my besties! I would definitely add a vege food option or two.

I have been here before and the food was amazing!! Me & my hubby met up with family from out of town and it was his first time he also loved it!! We both had the chicken salad sandwich on croissant with lobster bisque and a ceaser salad with pink lemonade!! 😍 most definitely will be going again!! Even though it was really busy our waitress was wonderful...

They messed up with that pecan surprise pie. Its like pecan pie with cheesecake in the middle and the caramel is on top of the crust. Then they got nerve enough to have cinnamon whipped cream on top. Hurt your feelings. Oh and the club sandwich was good too with chicken Caesar salad.

Been coming to this place since they had one little dining area. They are a great place to escape from the world. Good gift and great deals for that special occasion piece for yourself if you know what I mean. 😉💜❤️If you haven't been you got to go.

One of the best places for sisterhood, fun, and food. This is my 3rd time, and I love it! I love the pasta salad, lobster bisque, crab salad on croissant, and of course the desserts. Every time is a new experience. The staff is helpful and professional. It’s worth the drive!

Great service, food is delish. A little too cramped but I've been lucky enough to sit by the fireplace. Definitely going to be a traditional Christmas brunch.

Celebrating the retirement of a co-worker. Our table was right on the aisle, so people kept bumping into me and another friend (very annoying) Most of the desserts were gone 🫣 And the waitress kept making us wait 5 plus minutes for simple requests like utensils

Came for brunch, it was busy but we were seated right away. Had soup (lobster bisque) and salad and sandwich (roast beef with au jus), fresh and awesome. Desserts were fabulous. Definitely recommend.

I have been visiting Josephine’s for many years now. It was previously an annual tradition that I took my grandma on for her birthday before she passed away. We would eat, get some desserts and then drive up to Pere Marquette to see the fall colors. We would dress cute and walk around all the shops til we were ready for a nap. We made small trek, about 30 minutes each visit one way but it has always been worth it. I have gone with friends as well, and continued to go for my gram’s birthday. The backstory has meaning, and it’s this… Josephine’s is a unique little spot. The staff always make us feel welcome, and though the dining space is crammed it’s nostalgic. It’s comforting, nice, but the employees are truly what make it worthwhile. I have seen some of the ladies there for several years and there is a younger gentleman I’ve seen a few times as well. They’re all customer oriented and friendly. Make a reservation. Do it two weeks in advance. Get in as early as possible! Let’s also not forget the desserts. If you thought about skipping that part, don’t… unless it’s medically necessary. Certain items run out unfortunately, this has been the only disappointment I’ve run into a few times even having earlier reservations, but there are always great backup options.

The food was delicious. But a little pricey for my budget. Others may be used to spending that much.

Josephine’s has been one of my favorite places to grab some good food! Over the years the service within itself has caused my rating to change. We visited recently and we wait over 20 minutes just to be acknowledged. Once acknowledged we waited another 20 minutes for food! Now while I typically would not care. It was hard to overlook the staff standing around, on their phone, talking about their night before. For the record, the food is still very delicious but it was cold and the service alone makes me want to stay away! Especially because we drove 45+ minutes to get there! My suggestion, give it a try at least once but he prepared to wait!

Extremely poor service! First table seated at 11am and didn’t get a drink order until 11:35 and then about 15 minutes until drinks served—-other tables were and eating. Finally took our order—-another long wait—-took dessert order early, but tables were cleared and no dessert!!! Thankfully, our lunch was prepaid or were would have waited again. Lots of servers and busboys running around, our server was friendly, but inefficient!! Been to Josephine’s many times and absolutely love it! But, very disappointed! ! Food was fabulous!

We have been twice and both times were fantastic! Very nice for special occasions. We went Saturday before mothers day. Very crowded, super happy I had reservations. Staff were running crazy but super nice and friendly. 3 different gift shops are nice gardens for pictures

1st timer and I really enjoyed my brunch. I got the #2 special which was the roast beef sandwich on a delicious, soft bun with rosemary and additional herbs. It is complete with two sides of your choice. The meat although tender, lacked a little in taste. Please try the Almond Mocha angel food cake and Lemon Cheesecake soo delicious!! Great atmosphere will be back!

Went there with my Senoir group. Had a great time as always. Beautiful place to get together with friends. Good food and great service even with being short handed and the place was full.

This place is wonderful! Delicious food, great atmosphere and on top of that reasonably priced. We’ve been there before but just happened to be close by on Valentine’s Day so we thought we’d stop in and see if we could get lunch. We walked in at noon without a reservation and were seated right away. We live in Arnold Missouri, 59 miles away and it’s well worth the drive.

This place was marvelous. Beyond what I could ever imagine. My first visit, I've always wanted to go. It was well worth the wait .

My wife, daughter, and granddaughter love to shop in the boutique. I must say, however, that the food is what we come for. Our waitress Cindy has been waiting on us for over twenty years. Cindy is a wonderful person and a great waitress. We love the atmosphere, although I, as a male, can sometimes find it a bit loud. Probably because everyone is enjoying themselves! I highly recommend Josepines!

Food was awesome. Lobster Bisque was on point. Beautiful atmosphere and the service was great. My sorority sisters and I enjoyed our time.

Had heard about it but finally had friends that wanted to go. We had a great time. Our server was exceptional, dealt with all our questions, and was so polite and friendly The food was fantastic, everyone enjoyed their dishes.

Had the Cobb salad. Glad I got the small, it was super and we took home leftovers. The lobster bisque is the bomb! They held our leftovers in a cooler so we could shop, which we were most appreciative! They have a great gift shop, and the clothing selections are endless. Sale racks too!

Have been there many times and it’s always been a great experience. I brought my grandson with me first the first time. I wanted him to experience it. We waited 25 minutes after being seated for the waitress to show up while 3 different tables around us were seated and waited on right away. When she finally showed up, she asked do you know what you want? Didn’t mention any specials of the day, usually quiche, and seemed in quite a hurry. When we finally got our food an hour later the servings seemed quite small. Maybe they have cut back on sizes??? Anyway 2 1/2 hours later we left very disappointed. Not sure I will go back.
