Ambience is wonderful for a date. Service got the job done though it lacked enthusiasm. The whiskey flights are well thought out and diverse. Each selection comes with a micro story/lesson. I found it delightful and informative. I was a vegetarian for 6 years and a vegan for a year. The food was good but not great compared to other fare of the same cuisine I have had eating out. The food is beautifully plated but I could careless when the dish itself is lackluster. The green fried rice was tasty and saved the meal while the cauliflower and poutine apps just lacked flavor. Be advised all but one dish on the menu was vegan. Will not repeat.

My experience at this restaurant was nothing short of delightful and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic vegetarian dining experience. The staff are extremely welcoming and attentive, making you feel at home from the moment you walk in. They are knowledgeable about the menu and are happy to provide recommendations based on your preferences. I found their friendly nature to be refreshing and it made me feel very comfortable throughout my meal. The food options are absolutely delicious. They offer a wide variety of vegetarian options. The food is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. I particularly enjoyed green fried rice and their brussel sprouts and fritas y migas for appetizers! They also has an impressive drink menu, with a range of refreshing cocktails, whiskey selections, and beer options. The ambiance of the restaurant is truly relaxing and soothing. The decor is modern and inviting, with plenty of natural light. The atmosphere is perfect for a relaxing meal with friends, family, or colleagues. Overall, I would highly recommend Small Batch Whiskey & Fare to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience!

Small Batch is such a great vegan restaurant. The food and cocktails are always unique and delicious. The menu changes frequently so I've always found something new to try! Husband and I have been a few times without me leaving a review (oops!) so I've added pictures from different visits. Enjoy!

Fantastic Fine Dining Date Night Spot! This place is quite fancy and romantic. They had nice ambient lighting and an upstairs seating area. The food was absolutely delicious and most of the menu is vegan (only 2 dishes had cheese). My date and I split the Lion's Mane fare, Brussels Sprouts small fare, and a Sundae. The whole experience was so wonderful. The only con is the portion sizes are quite small! I would still highly recommend though. It's the perfect place to go on a date.

Delicious, well cooked veggie based food with rich complex flavors. I went on a Monday night and it was pretty empty which I couldn't believe because of how good everything was. I sat at the bar and had a great conversation with the bartender. Our server was very kind and attentive as well.

We recently traveled to Small Batch from Indiana. It was excellent. Highly recommend it. The food was incredible and the waitstaff was super friendly and very helpful. We’ll definitely be traveling back just to visit this restaurant! I had an Asian dish with tofu and veggies that were very well seasoned. My husband had some pasta with eggplant. The sauce complimented the noodles well, the eggplant was incredible. Never had eggplant prepared the way they did. It was very good! Only regret is not being able to come back a second time!

Excellent, upscale date spot with some of the best fancy vegan options I've seen. I've never had Lion's Mane mushrooms before, and the way they prepared it was perfectly soft and crumbly. It had a great seafood taste similar to something like lobster and I haven't had anything like it since going vegan. The brussel sprouts and sundae was absolutely amazing as well.

Drinks great, food...I hate to say this...lacking multiple levels of salt, acidity, and fat...it just fell flat.. there's a lot of creativity put into this menu just some flavor connections that aren't being met , maybe the chef was having an off day. Still worth a try for the ambiance alone!

Staff was friendly and the space is very cool. Very chill energy there but everyone is so attentive even though they were short staffed. Had one of the best meals of my life! And the desserts were INSANE. So excited to come back to Small Batch.

I tried this place this weekend. It’s vegetarian and offers some unique choices for dining. The space is very well decorated and has a great vibe. Our appetizer was the beet hummus. It was a little sweeter than expected but it was good. Definitely something out of the ordinary. For the entree I had a falafel burger. It was good but it had more of a crunch in it than I was expecting. Again, not bad, just different. Overall, this is a great place to step away from the ordinary. Reasonably priced.

We went there for the 2023 Valentine's meal. It was a 4 course meal. Our server was there to keep our drinks filled, taking any new beverage orders, and remove our plates promptly! The lights were low and there were candles on all the tables. It was very comfortable! We had a mushroom custard with faux cavier, beet bisque, a salad with a peanut sauce, gnocchi, a rose cheesecake, and a chocolate cake with chocolate and espresso mousse. It was delicious! We look forward to going back some day!

My husband and I were excited to find a vegan/ vegetarian restaurant actually open on the holiday weekend after a long day at the zoo with our son. The whiskey is probably good (didn't try it) but the food was just plain awful. Very small portions and what was there was seriously lacking in flavor. I'd give no stars but the customer service was good. Very friendly server that took our to go order.

As a vegetarian and a fan of a solid whiskey, Small Batch blew me away. They provided amazing dishes I’ve not tried in the past that mixed curiosity with satisfaction. Highly recommend!

One of the best vegan/vegetarian places st louis has to offer. Very modern very beautiful decor and very well thought out menu and meals, top quality ingredients, preparation, and presentation. Very friendly and helpful staff. The mixed drinks are to die for, some of them sound quite different, but get outta your comfort zone and taste magnificence.

My favorite upscale vegetarian spot to eat and they also have fantastic cocktails. I've never left disappointed

I travel the country and this is my favorite vegan fine(r) dining spot next to Vedge in Philadelphia. Their food is always an mix of creative and familiar. Their flavors are delicious and elevated. Portions are big. I had the Gamelli pasta tonight and it was outstanding. I hate eggplant. This was incredible. The eggplant was fried crispy and I couldn’t believe how well capers went with a schezwan red sauce. I haven’t had a bad thing yet. Even my friend who isn’t really into veg food loved the falafel burger. The lions mane cakes were the closest to crab cakes you’ll get IMO but they weren’t trying to imitate it, which I appreciate since imitation often misses the mark. The fennel and broccoli pasta wasn’t my favorite but it was good. Also drinks are classy and creative. I just wish the non alcoholic ones were cheaper for what they are.

Everything on this menu is always absolutely delicious. A flavor medley that will leave your tastebuds super happy! 😋 The service is wonderful and the atmosphere is chill. They have some of the best vegan food we’ve had with lots of flavor! You must stop in and try it yourself! This place is the epitome of how Remy from Ratatouille describes tasting food.

First timer so take from this what you will. Drink was delicious. Food was ok but menu was not "user friendly". Service was kind of a nightmare. I love their options for those who are vegan/vegetarian but it wasn't for me.
