Not a great experience. Food was pretty basic. The cheesy garlic bread appetizer was the best thing we tried. Service was mediocre at best as our waitress was not very attentive even though the place was not very busy. I love the decor though!

The restaurant is smaller than I expected. The food and service were great and we really enjoyed our time there. The restaurant shares a parking lot with the food market next door. There are only a handful of parking spaces on Lake Rd right in front of the place. Overall we liked it.

What happened to the menu!? All the great variety of salads and pizzas are gone and other items as well. Now a very generic menu. Someone says they are under new management. Bad idea.

Not super impressed with the quantity of toppings for the price per slice. We ordered two larger to go. They were ready on time and they did have a decent amount of cheese. However we ordered a chicken and pineapple and a Canadian bacon and pineapple and depending on the slice it was half cheese or more. The white sauce was delicious.

Use to eat here a lot. Then the food was bad. Tried it again since I was in the area and the pizza was delicious. They did forget to put sausage that we paid for on it, but the manager made up for it.

Used to be our favorite comfort food restaurant, but not the same anymore! Not only the menu options shrunk and no longer offer their most famous dishes when we placed an order to go we got half of it, we called for it to be corrected the answer was well you didn’t get charged for it good night! Well why did you take the order if you don’t want to make it! Definitely not going back or ordering again.

My family has been going here for almost 30 years. The food is so delicious and no one ever leaves without a carry out bag because there is always so much food too much to eat in one sitting.

This place never disappoints me. We had spaghetti and meatballs, chicken pasta Alfredo, and I the gluten-free pizza. Our server was excellent. Everything was outstanding 👏 8.6

Uber Eats Driver: Done accepting orders from here. Every time I've gone to pick up I'm told that my order isn't ready or even in the oven yet, and that I'll have to wait at least 10-20 minutes. If the order isn't even close to ready why are you telling Uber to send a driver? I don't get paid by the hour but by the order, and I accept orders based upon time estimates. This last order Uber estimated would take me 20 minutes to deliver. Took me 8 to drive there. Took 5 minutes to park, walk in, and wait for the hostess to tell me they hadn't even started cooking the order. I was on another delivery before accepting yours, so that took time away from that delivery in the opposite direction. All in all, yall wasted at least half an hour of my time, and my gas.

Went in hoping for pizza. Took 30 minutes+ just to get drink service. Left after having a beer. The place is really set up for carry out as you could see the kitchen busy with orders which were not from tables as there were only three with anyone there.

I had high expectations for this place but those were gone when the charged me 3.5% more for using a CC. Ordered 3 pizzas one being their famous Chicago style which was another let down followed by a simple pepperoni pizza for the 3rd strike. I’m out on Danny Boys RR forever.

My family of 4 came in on Friday the 10th and had a medium pizza with onions, green pepper and a med pizza with 1/2 pep/mushroom and cheese. The pizza with onions and green pepper was undercooked and basically uneatable. We told the waitress the situation and she only offered to tell the kitchen about it but did not make it right. The two eating this pizza ate what they could of it and afterwards it did not sit well with them. It was very slow at the time when ordered it and it could have been fixed. The other pizza was fine but please tell your staff to always make people happy or they will not come back.

A lot going on in this tiny joint, including a ton of memorabilia scattered everywhere. The owners must really like Frank Sinatra because no matter where you're sitting, there's a picture of him staring down at you. Food is delicious, well-made and reasonably portioned. It's close quarters with mostly zero privacy and it can get pretty busy during peak times but that's part of the appeal of restaurants like Danny Boy's. Prices are a little high but so is the quality of the food being served.

Tried deep dish. Ordered fresh mushrooms and extra sauce with pepperoni and banana peppers. No mushrooms and less sauce than usual snd I requested extra sauce. Ordered Friday before rush. Very disappointed. Thought we had finally found the best. Moving down in my list. Come on guys

First time dining at this restaurant. Service and food were good but the prices were definitely a bit high for what you get. Also the surprise of a “delivery fee” on the check was off putting then explained it’s a credit card processing fee. The fee was 3% of the total bill yet paid with a visa who charges 1-2% for processing fees American Express is the only credit card company that charges over 3%. You’d think a business charging $100 for a meal would make sure the guest was not charged that fee. I would have been charged even if paying cash as well I bet. Poor waitresses have to deal with this which in return causes guests to give less tip. The waitresses were great!

As former residents of Rocky River, Danny Boys was one of our favorite places to eat and enjoy a night with the family. We visited a few nights ago to learn that along with new management, most of our favorites had been removed from what is now essentially a chain style menu. The waitress was unable to make a child serving of pasta as they didn’t have the measuring cup required by new management. At the end of dinner, we were told if we elected to pay by credit card, we would be charged a transaction fee. So disappointed that one of our favorite family owned restaurants is being converted into a bland chain restaurant with menu and other decisions driven by profitability at the expense of tradition and quality.

Today is the first time ever that I had anything from Danny Boy's. I ordered and had my dinners delivered The delivery service turned out to be a nightmare, and nearly had me lost forever as a customer. I paid over the phone for my meal. 1.5 hours later I called back to check the status of my order. They said it was out being delivered. After we disconnected, me happy my food was soon to arrive. I got a call back immediately and was told it was a no contact delivery and had been dropped off at my front door. I was livid. Ihave no porch. The delivery boy took my paying over the phone as if my paying for it was no contact delivery and he left my pizza box on the ground. He did not call and notify me, nor knock. and my 2nd dinner was tossed and tipped off of the pizza box. . I called back and asked them to come pick the cold pizza and and give me my money back.. The manager was nice enough to try and appease me. He remade my order and had it delivered.. This time I stood at the door waiting for the delivery guy.. A kid looked to be about 12 years old but I imagine he's 16 because he drove here, arrived. He had a charming little smile. In any event I got my food warm this time, as it should have been the 1st time. I'm very very happy that I acquiesced to the managers attempt to make things right for me. The food was delicious. Yes, my perrogi dinner was not just amazing and the pizza, but they was tasted like "more". 😄

I loved this place for pizza until last night We have eaten there about 10 times a year for 6 years but last night we were not greeted in a welcoming manner ....it was a Friday and Veteran's Day and I was with a Veteran !! I waited for 5 minutes to even be acknowledged at the window for seating and then was told they closed in 15 minutes. It was filled with about 30 people still dining! Checked the clock after returning to the car and it was 8:40 pm. I'll take my patronage elsewhere

Super great people behind the counter tonight! Today was my first time trying them as I just moved in the area a week ago. I ordered chicken pineapple nachos.. WOW... So so good. Try them!!

Came here with my father for lunch and had a terrible experience. I ordered a chicken alfredo and my father ordered a spaghetti and meatballs. My dish arrived with no chicken, and I had to flag down a waitress to ask for the chicken. She astonishingly claimed there actually was chicken in it. I had to move pasta around with my fork to prove it, then I heard the cook say its coming out and he forgot. They brought the chicken out and it was okay at best. 68 dollar check for two, and some of the poorest quality food I have encountered yet. My father also ordered a coffee and it was filled with coffee grounds. Look elsewhere if you're considering coming here.

Was recommended this place by my aunt I’ve only gotten take out a few times. Prices are reasonable for the quality of food and I’ve always been satisfied. I’ve gotten the Calzone most times, can’t go wrong with it. I’ve only tried the pizza once, think I’ll go with the Chicago next time as I’ve heard good things. Would recommend if you haven’t given it a go yet.

First of all…..YUM! Cute little Italian spot with pizza,pasta,and sandwiches. Loved the music that was playing. Frank Sinatra and such. Service was great. Only gave 4 stars because the pasta option would not allow salad and bread if you wanted the “half” portion. It would cost more to add those items on. The whole portion was just way too big with salad and bread. I feel like more customers would appreciate getting the salad and bread with the half portion, especially those who might be watching calories/budget on dinner. Overall, enjoyable experience.

Great pizza and wings. Location has parking and friendly staffing. Will return! Enjoyed every bite. Quick service....
