If you’re a parent using WIC don’t waste your time. The labels are not adequately marked. As if the process isn’t painful enough, the clerks and manager on duty didn’t honor the incorrectly marked items OR offer to have an employee grab the correct item like they usually do. The current staff needed replaced and the clerk who checked me out was rude, snooty, and treated me distastefully because I was using a WIC card. When I go in paying cash the service I receive is of course superb.

Self checkout — "Please place the item in the bag". My 'item' was too big for any bag and I was blocked from checking out the rest of my 'items' since I didn't/couldn't 'place the item in the bag'. Brilliant! I left my 'items' there and went somewhere with a more intelligent business plan.

The deli quality has really gone down. Got a foot long turkey sandwich for $9 and it literally had two slices of turkey on the whole thing and the American cheese was so old it was dry. Also got a Greek salad and the tomatoes and cucumber were so old they were mushy.

I tried to have some food delivered to my parents. Schnucks' dumb website wants to to create an account. I live in Texas. I don't want to create an account for something I'm only doing once in my life. This is what I get for expecting a Granite City grocery store website to be modern and functional. 🤷‍♂️

I I'm not quite sure how everyone starts their morning maybe the people here had a badd meeting this morning or something. I said good morning to at least 3 employees and not one said good morning back or even shot me a smile which I think is weird and even the cashier lady didn't say a word to me until it was time to pay and when I was walking away and underneath her breath she said have a good day like she did not want me to hear it but she had to say it. I rate souly on the attitude of the employees and not one had a friendly attitude.

Fast and efficient.. Need more positive kindness to your cashiers, though. When I say, I appreciate u, they act like it's a rare response.

They hardly have what I want for food. Cause of all these Ghetto fools from Missouri come here. They burn there stores down then come to Illinois. We need to make toll bridges. Then the people from Missouri steal. Saw a black woman ring up 20 items but had huge basket full of groceries. Stole half the food. Shame the devil works this way. Need to stop self check outs or have police right there.

1 Star for the horrible service the bakery has provided as of lately. Once upon a time, there was actual filling inside each donut. Now it's a literal tablespoon (as shown in the pics) ! The day of getting custard filled donuts is GONE! I just saw a review about a $9 deli sandwich with two slices of deli meat? The New Philosophy at Schnucks is pretty obvious.... Less is more!!?? Time to find a new donut location.... Anyone been to Dukes? PS--- When I'm checking out the bagger stands there looking at me like I should be bagging my own groceries!? They sometimes walk away and I'll stand there refusing to do THEIR JOB! This Store won't last much longer!

Can't even shop in peace rude disgusting workers in your way.. you say excuse me and they look at you like you lost your mind I absolutely hate shopping at this location.. they really need to retrain their employees on the customer service and good manners

Always a great shopping experience. Had to ask where to find a product and 2 emplyoyees showed me the location.

Great produce, our family loves the bakery, almost always have what we are looking for.

The store itself is a little small but I believe its by far the best food in this town.

I don't know if I like the register system how it's one big line and the computer lady tells you what lane to go to. Idk maybe I'm old fashioned..

Very disappointed in the deli. I ordered 150 PCs of chicken for a special dinner to be picked up at 11am. I arrived 20 min early and I was told it still had 12 minutes. So at 10:59am I walked up to the counter and I had to wait before someone would acknowledge i was there. Then I was told it would be 13 more minutes. I said at 20 til that it would be 12 min but I still waited until it was actually 11am. I preordered it over a week ahead of time so that it would be ready at 11am. Last year we ordered it the same way and it wasn't ready when we arrived. I WON'T be ordering chicken here again!!!!!!!

The store us clean and easy to navigate. They always have what I need.

I've noticed that they are having better sales! 10 for $10., buy 1 and get 1 free! Great deals lately! Incentives! I'm digging it! 😎

Most of the staff have been very nice. If only they didn't put the cinnamon strong pine cones near the front of the store every holiday season.

I had to order some flowers for a friend that passed away and his funeral is in St Louis. I received excellent service at the Granite City Schnucks yesterday from Schniel. She called the store nearest to the funeral home and arranged everything for me. She was kind and professional and Schniel if you are reading this thank you for your help.

Love Schnucks. Their deli was fantastic before Boar's Head took over. I can still usually find what I'm looking for. Produce department is wonderful! Everything is so fresh and displayed beautifully.

Clean store, easy to navigate, helpful kind employees. Prices are a little higher than Walmart on average, but the atmosphere in the store makes it worth it.

Went to this local schnucks store right after the GC HS fireworks show went in bought couple items the store looks clean and neat and friendly worker but I gotta say the only thing really bothered me was they had spoiled meat. I had went home ready to cook up the ribs I had bought, when I opened the ribs it’s smelled super bad!

The store was clean. The variety of things was interesting. The prices were quite high. I wouldn't do a full grocery store shop there because of the prices.

I've been using WIC their since my son was little hes now 18 so I don't know what that shopper was even complaining about it is something to do with their new system anytime I use the new debit card from WIC the stores try to charge me for it then can explain why it happens any store not just schnucks , but I'm trying to sign up for delivery on the app do you charge fees and also need to know if you accept EBT?.

Clean and organized store. Easy to find items when im in a hurry and pushing for time. Always hreated with smiling and helping faces. I always strike up a conversation with an employee. Priduce is aways amazing.

The same exact container of Tide you can get @ Walmart for $18.34 was over $23 at Schnucks..just saying the price MARK UP is not by cents it’s by DOLLARS!! You decide?

Went to get fish and their was dead flys all over it, I told the worker their was dead flys on the fish and if they had any fresh in the back! She comes over and pulls the dead flys off the fish and ask if I still wanted it, so I explained “ hell no, you just took dead flys off it, is their any fresh in the back” and she says no that the fish in the case was it!! Do better people, I’ll be calling the health department!!
