My favorite neighborhood coffee and bagel. This was the first place I tried the morning I moved to town, desperate for a cup of coffee early in the morning, and I’ve been back frequently every since! The bagels are prepared just how I like them, and the coffee is always hot and delicious. And the best part yet is the friendly faces that go with it.

Awesome vibe, super friendly staff and the food was delicious. Enjoyed my latte and really enjoyed my Chicken and Hummus bagel sandwich. Great spot to enjoy a bite and do some people watching. Highly recommend!

Mohammad is so unbelievably friendly. While I was ordering someone walked in who hadn't been there in a year and he remembered his order! They are super accommodating for individual orders and did their best to press my sandwich without a panini press. I will absolutely be coming back :)

I visited NYC recently and stayed in Brooklyn. This place was nearby and I came for some breakfast. Very cool little place. Chilled-out vibe, and the gentleman that helped me was super friendly. The entire menu looked great, but I decided on the Ghost Pepper Beef Sausage breakfast bagel and an iced mocha. Very tasty breakfast, not too spicy. The iced mocha was a little too sweet for me, but still better iced coffee compared to a couple of other places nearby (i.e.: Grabstein's Bagels, Hungry Ghost)

The staff was super friendly and courteous. The establishment though small was very clean. Service was prompt and the food was great. The prices were more than reasonable. I had a 3 Cheese Omelet on a Cinnamon Raisin Bagel with a glass of Apple Juice and my daughter had a 3 Cheese Omelet on a Croissant with a Chai Tea Latte. We both enjoyed our breakfast.

the best quality bagels i've found in the area, breakfast sandwiches are always delicious (ask for the hot sauce), and the team here is always such a great vibe

Dog friendly! They have a dog treat jar on the counter and I had my small dog on my lap inside while I worked for a couple hours. The cafe is very cozy and cute. Very friendly staff who took my order - my drink was prepared immediately and my warmed food was ready a couple minutes later.

I was not so happy when I ordered because I was charged 1.75 extra for almond milk for a chai latte that on the board and the guy at the cashier, I asked him why is the price on the board different than what he charged me. He said $1 but it was still more on the receipt and he didn’t put in the right portion of milk to tea. Overall the food was fine but the service of not giving me the right change for not treating the customer right.

Went to the Brooklyn library to see the JayZ exhibit and googled nearby breakfast/brunch spots. Penny’s was at the top of the list. So we took a chance. DELICIOUS! I got a blt on bagel and my husband got a beef sausage, egg, & spicy cheddar on a roll. Everything was made fresh and piled on thick. Nothing skimpy about this place. It is well worth the visit and everyone there was friendly!

Sweet cafe with good coffee and delicious sandwiches (try the "Conflicted" fried egg & cheddar+cream cheese on an everything bagel) and other hearty fare emerging from the tiny kitchen/grill in the front. Super friendly vibes, with a steady stream of regulars flowing in on a late Saturday morning.

A very home like atmosphere, I felt very comfortable walking into. I didn't see cucumber on the menu for added toppings, but I tried to order it anyway, then one of the workers walked out to buy cucumbers at the supermarket just for me. I commend their service and amazing bagels!

I absolutely loved it here the staff was so friendly and welcoming. They greeted us when we came in and explained the menu. The food was delicious, loved the homemade bagels, I got the bestseller and an iced vanilla latte both for a good price. Would eat here again.

Going to get coffee never felt more comfortable. Decided to take the cold 15 minute walk to give this place a try and I don’t regret it. The man behind the counter was very friendly and approachable. Would definitely pick this place over the overpriced big name coffee chains.

Cute little spot with a decent amount of seating for such a small place. Excellent assortment of drinks and friendly staff!

This little cafe ticked a lot of my boxes. The guy who served us was obviously the owner and personally invested in making us feel welcome. The coffee was good and made to suit our taste and the cinnamon scroll was good. Drop in some time.

Muhammad is great and the entire staff gives off a great vibe. Both the coffee and the tea are great. I ate a chicken wrap at the staff’s recommendation, and it was delicious and filling. I went back multiple times during my trip to NYC.

These are the NICEST people!! I went here to kill some time while my dog was getting operated on at the clinic down the street and they helped make a stressful day more manageable. I loved sitting in their outdoor oasis and they even offered me an umbrella as I left because it started raining. Good people, good vibes, good coffee ☕️👍🏻

Wanted to stop in at Tom's Diner, but there was a looong wait. Instead, we came up here and we're not disappointed. So three of us had the veggie burger (with hummus and avocado). It was very nice. The tomatoes even had great flavor.

This place makes me wish I lived in the neighborhood. Mohamed makes every order with love and is incredibly friendly. This is the cafe atmosphere you dream of when you move to a neighborhood, having your favorite bagel spot where they know your name and order. A real delight to stop in for a bagel and coffee!!

An extremely modest establishment. Yet the bagel sandwiches, and super friendly service compels me to give it 5 stars. We had an everything bagel with ghost pepper cheddar, beef sausage and eggs. My guest ordered a wheat everything bagel with Turkey bacon, sriracha aioli, smoked gouda and eggs sandwich. Both were super good. Coffee was exceptionally good. A super filling breakfast for under 10 dollars. Omar served us and was super friendly, getting us coffee refills. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

This was my first proper BEC breakfast sandwich being back home on the east coast. It hit all the right spots. Red eye coffee after my red eye flight did the trick. Partner got the hummus and lox bagel which I was happy to avoid at 8am but probably good for lunch. I'd go back if I didn't live so far away!

I get that restaurants are hurting lately, maybe staff is limited, supply chain issues, but when you price your sandwiches, please just include the cost of bread in what you're advertising. Is it petty that I knocked 3 stars off my review because I was charged an additional buck fifty for bread? Maybe, but a sandwich by definition is between two pieces of...yup, bread, so why is this an add on? Otherwise, I appreciate all the smoked salmon options. Similarly as with bread, though, the staff asked whether I'd like capers, as if this is an optional ingredient standard on my order, and then I was charged an extra dollar to include them. I would pay a higher base price for your sandwich but just maybe tell me up front what the cost is rather than this nickel and diming the customers with hidden sandwich fees... thanks.

Nice but there’s no AC, the tables weren’t the cleanest and the milk was out. Good coffee. Nice vibe.

10/10! Love it! Drinks are great, the best in New York! And the barista was wearing super fun crocs!
