Brooklyn Kettle was a place that was welcoming, warm, and hospitable. The coffee was really Very Good, in our opinion. We would rather go here than to a well-known Brand name. Unfortunately, Franchises are more miss than hit, these days. Everyone has to decide for themselves where they would like to spend their hard-earned money.

Good coffee, ample sitting outside, black owned, nice collection of home goods and books, and more.

Hey guys, I'm a regular here but today the chai wasn't so good because the barista put really less concentrate. Just wanted to inform y'all because too much oat milk gives me a tummy ache :/ But really love this spot! Just a little thing to keep in mind.

Great coffee, I had a cappuccino with soy milk and oat milk, both were absolutely perfect. I like the way the use the coffee shop, you can buy all sorts of stuff, which is a great idea.

Great Chai Latte! A perfect neighborhood cafe. No indoor seating but grab a bagel across the street and sit at a sidewalk table. Makes for a perfect breakfast.

Best espresso I've had in NYC. The barista (owner?) brought out the best in the coffee beans, which are from La Colombe. Foam was super fine, pour beautiful, flavor excellent. I'm looking forward to going back and enjoying both the coffee and the friendly atmosphere.

Very good coffee, excellent service. Seriously amazing quiche; flaky crust, warm, custardy filling, properly seasoned. Reasonable prices. Outdoor seating only. Very worth it.

One day was decent coffee. Next day was the worst coffee I've had in a long time.

I wish I could give 10 stars! Going in just warmed my heart so much. I use to live in Bedstuy right by BK Kettle when it was in its smaller grab n go storefront. The owner, who’s name I can’t remember at the moment, was always so kind, so open, such a real neighbor. I think I saw him in passing there when I popped in, he smiled, and I know this may sound cheesy but I nearly started to tear up. That’s because with this neighborhood consistently changing, locally owned businesses at times getting pushed out, and Covid putting a heavy economic strain on so many, to see that this wonderful shop not only survived the worst of it but is in a larger storefront location only doors away from where I knew it to be a few years ago — it was just a really encouraging, beautiful thing to see. Will be popping in for more coffees, congratulations to the owners and all those who supported its growth!

    Great strong Americano!

Espresso comparable to what you find in Europe. That's the highest compliment I can personally give someone. Next to Warude and next to Bedvyne so the triad has me regularly walking 30 minutes from my home to Thompkins.

Hands down the most amazing iced mocha I’ve ever had. Very good quality coffee and perfect blend of chocolate. The barista was very friendly. The shop was very nicely decorated and sold interesting books.

Great coffee shop! As someone else said, it is indeed comparable to a European coffee. Got a cappuccino, was delicious! Finally something that didn’t taste like dirt.

Great coffee/espresso and amazing service. Went here on a lovely sunny afternoon and had a nice espresso over ice and hung outside the window area and people watched. Will be back again. Much better experience than I had at S,T.
