Balsamic salad was good for a light lunch, but order something in addition if you are very hungry. Cute cafe with good healthy options.

Sandwiches can be a piece of art when they combine fresh hand made ingredients in a well balanced combination of flavors. They should not be pre-prepared, rubbery or dry; they should not have too much meat or save on the amount of cheese. Calyer is a welcomed addition to a neighborhood that does not take its food very seriously. Luckily this Cafe is honoring and respecting the art of bread-in-betweenness. Come to explore the whole menu, it would not disappoint a demanding palate.

It’s not really a pizza place, but it is!! Def is! The pizza was great, we will be back. Popup pizza on Fridays. Get involved. 8.7/10- very good. No coors, just in case you were wondering.

cool lil cafe with exceptionally made sandwiches. bread was toasted and perfectly layered with the toppings, broccoli rabe was cooked proper and had just a lil spicy peppers and some fully melted mozz. can't wait to come back. coffee is super strong

This is a very pleasant café with excellent coffee and food. The atmosphere is also nice, if you want to sit down and enjoy your coffee and food, and maybe get a bit of work done. I highly recommend this location.

Amazing shakshuka, not exactly how it’s done back home and how I do it myself but absolutely fantasize and out of this world. Will get your mouth drooling on that amazing sense of flavor and spiciness ( yes apparently they make it spicy but i promise you it adds to the flavor), MUST TRY PLEASE. they’re coffee is really good too, I usually get flat whites from them and they combine it in a amazing way!

Had a sandwich here it tastes great! I forgot what it's called, it's the one with fish and egg in it. The bun has a toasted crunch inside, I like it so much. The fella at the counter was nice and helpful. Definitely be coming back since it's on my way to school every day.

Literally the best selection of food I’ve ever seen at a cafe and even restaurants for that matter?! Everything is amazing and good portion size. Attention to every detail, I’ve never been so satisfied by the taste and texture of salads while also feeling full after and not paying an arm and a leg. The staff are so kind, and I applaud the owners for setting the bar so high - other owners take note, this is how it’s done! I just wish they were open later because it’s so good id eat here for dinner too - you should think of starting a casual, tasty and affordable restaurant :P

Stopped by here for a coffee and a book to read. The atmosphere is clean and super chill 😎 There was plenty of seating available, even with me occupying a spot for 2 hours. Outside seating is available too. It looked pretty and spotless. During the times I looked up from my book, there was a nice rotation of customers and dogs. The aromas coming from the kitchen and eavesdropping customer orders had me wondering if I should get food as well. Unfortunately, I didn't. But next time for sure!

This is my go-to spot for a quick breakfast or lunch! They have a wide variety of delicious sandwiches, and a good selection of healthy salads. My favorite is the the Kale Caesar Salad. I like their drink selection too - they have a large fridge with juices, teas, and kombucha, and can make any classic café drinks. The people who work there are also very friendly and welcoming!

Stopped in here for an iced tea. Looked at their menu, saw the vibe, and my brain forced me get the meatball parm because 1) I freaking love meatball parm/meatballs in any form and 2) they way they described it on the menu sounded like they knew what they were doing. Dang they really do know what they’re doing. Was one of the BEST meatball parm heros I’ve ever had. SHEESH! I’ll be back tomorrow.

Ham & Cheese sandwich was rather underwhelming. Was expecting wayyyy more meat & cheese. But it’s literally the skimpiest portion of ham and 2 sad looking slices of cheese. This sandwich is about as basic as it gets and local delis will LOAD up on the meat & cheese quickly, but apparently not here. I also see what they were trying to do with the fig jam, but I don’t think it quite worked in the sandwich. The Tinga is okay. However it has a very specific and strong tasting flavor profile (I was trying to identify what spice it was - think maybe cumin) so you’ll either love it or hate it. I’m not a huge fan of whatever spice that is, so it was okay for me, but not something I’d order again. But I can see most people finding it delicious - it’s very rich & flavorful. They did a great job with it. And were very generous with the meat - so not sure why the ham & cheese came out so sad. The fries were ok. If you’re a super skinny & salty McDonalds-style fries person, you’ll probably just find it average. Not anything to rave about. Walter’s down Dekalb is still the GOAT of fries for me. I do think the House sauce that accompanied it was nice. All in all, I’m unlikely to order here again. But might do so in a pinch and try something else on the menu. Oh and the cashier is really nice!

Ordered a chicken Parmesan sandwich which was $14 n change after tax. They used chicken strips to make it and the chicken wasn't flavorful enough, and I eat hamburgers with only ketchup. Wasn't a fan of their sauce either. Definitely a pass especially for the price. Review is just about the food

I tried the place since it looked like the more healthy alternative to the surrounding quick bite spots. It was fast, the burger was super salty but fine. 20$ for a burger with fries is a lot though. The thing that rubs me the wrong way as usual is that even though I ordered to stay, everything including the water came in single use packaging. So, won't come back.

Wow, food matches the reviews. 5 star. Had the chorizo breakfast sandwich with guac. $9.50. Super yummy. Coffee game is solid too.

The coffees fire and dare I say the best on Myrtle (yes I’ve tried them all). But pricey, $7 for an oatmilk latte is steep but they really are so good. They also have lavender syrup for lattes. The egg used for their breakfast sandwiches is the precooked yellow egg (think McDonald’s) so I’m not a fan of the cooked food but their salads and croissants are pretty good.

This place has the most amazing sandwiches! The egg and chorizo is on point. The coffee is pricey but superb as well.

Today the Chicken Tinga became my favorite sandwich of all time. Bread was perfectly baked. Knockout flavors.

A first-time customer, I ordered 3 sandwiches to go, so I could only say something about their food. Very delicious sandwiches, all well-made and in good portion. All priced reasonably. I will absolutely go back for more next time.

“Just wow” was my first reaction upon entering this establishment. Once inside, I was greeted with friendly smiles and a warm environment. The customer experience I received at the counter while ordering was immaculate, the girl in the blue striped sweater was very professional and extremely efficient when taking my order. After a brief wait at my table for my sandwich, I was approached by a man dressed like a chef, he handed me my chicken fry sandwich in a compassionate manner and firmly shook my hand. The most memorable part of that experience was his mesmerizing smile, one that will stick with me for the rest of my life. Sitting at the glass facing table, watching the calm city ambiance as cars passed by, I took a bite into my sandwich, it was fabulous! I can tell it was made with love. As I was leaving, I was struck by a deep sadness, because leaving was something I couldn’t fathom. My swift sadness was then cleared, remembering that I will soon be back for round two. Until next time Calyer cafe, thank you for this incredible experience.
