Unfortunately, I've had to edit my review of this place due to one highly unpleasant staff member. She's always rude, passive aggressive, and completely unhelpful. I'm not sure who hired her, but they need to watch her with customers. A woman came in to check on her order and she doesn't answer her question. She just says we're working on all orders. She's also corrected me when I asked for the vegan so and so looking at me blankly saying everything here is vegan, as if everyone walking in knows that. She's clearly miserable and brings that misery with her to her job every day. I've had the misfortune of interacting with her several times and each time, she's unpleasant. I asked her for a handle bag and she ignores me and then when I ask again she uses an annoyed tone and grabs the bag and instead of handing it to me puts it away from me on a side counter. They should make sure she's not the only person at the counter bc if she is, I'll just walk out. All the other girls actually know about hospitality and service and they're not unhappy little curmudgeons like pink cap girl with Spanish accent.

The interior and exterior is cute but my server just seemed really unhappy to serve me. I later heard them complaining about working so I'll try not to take it personally, but each time I’ve come they seem judgmental and annoyed. They gave bad energy and even then the food wasn't good at all. The Spicy Chicken sandwich tasted like absolutely nothing. Like even the Mayo tasted like nothing. Especially not for $13!!! Pretty meh overall.

There were good sweet and savory options, the service though efficient can be improved (one employee was not very knowledgeable of the food options and the other one seemed like they did not want to be there), and the atmosphere was nice and relaxing. Both the red velvet cake and the chocolate cake became very moist when I warmed them up at home (the cakes were very dry otherwise.) Their buttercream frosting was incredible! I couldn't believe it was vegan.

Such a charming bakery! Beautiful shop. Friendly & welcoming staff! A nice selection of bakery “classics” including croissants, rolls, Cinnabons, danishes etc- but all vegan! I got the chocolate & pistachio croissant. Seriously, mouth watering! The pistachio one was really unique & delicious!

An easy 4.9\5 stars for me. Clementine is extremely charming and has a plethora of tasty treats on offer without compromising on flavor or service/efficiency, even though it’s vegan (not a detractor anyway for me)! Menus are clear and well presented, and the baked goods are all front and center. There are tons of plants around and you can even buy most of them. That’s super fun! Would definitely come back here. This place rocks.

Amazing vegan options and good prices, but don’t go at 9:00 am expecting to get cooked food. We arrived at 9:05 and they were still opening the kitchen and by 9:45 we still didn’t have our food. If you go early just plan on ordering the pastries, otherwise you’re going to be waiting for them to open the kitchen. 9 is pretty late to open for a bakery so assume you would be spending 8-9 getting the kitchen ready. UPDATE: took 50 min to get cooked food :/ not ideal in the morning

Cutest vegan bakery in Brooklyn. It has a huge variety of not only baked goods but breakfast and lunch options. I personally love the tofu burrito. Their coffee is amazing as well. And on your way out, leave with a pastry cause you have to.

Second time here visiting from Louisville, Kentucky and we need more vegan options like Clementine’s Bakery in Louisville area. Great food, popular location and friendly staff. Yummy BLAT sandwich, almond croissant , doughnuts and blueberry muffin.😍😋

Exquisite vegan bakery in Brooklyn that offers a selection of vegan and/or gluten free pastries, breakfast sandwiches and great coffee. Staff were very lovely, especially the redhead from Dublin whom we had a lovely chat with. I’ve never had a better croissant or pain au chocolate – these were seriously on point! Also enjoyed the BLAT sandwich and a few day old scones and muffins for only $1.50. Love that they are conscious about waste as well. Will definitely return when I’m back in Brooklyn.

They used to make the #schmancy on rosemary chibatta. They changed the bread which I'm disappointed by. But still everything is so delicious. Creative spot. Decor is also really great.

Clementine is my new favorite place! Their biscuits and gravy are to die for. I also really love their blueberry scones. Coffee is amazing too. The outdoor seating is cute and comfortable, and during these hot summer days, provides refuge from the sun.

Clementine Bakery made the most perfect cake for our wedding. It was both beautiful and SO tasty. The team was really responsive - Tiffany answered so many of our questions and Shelley decorated our cake beautifully. They were more than happy to customize our flower arrangement and also delivered the cake to a restaurant for us. Thank you for helping make our wedding celebration so special!

Excellent food and drink. 100% vegan, so many baked goods and breakfast food options. Great vibe. No indoor dining at the moment, but they have blankets if you are dining outside.🥰 They are busy on weekend mornings so best not to be in a rush to order. My only qualm is that the heaters outside didn’t seem operational.

I stopped in for a chocolate, chocolate chip cup cake but this was the only sugar fix I could get. The Bakery has a mix assortment of goods.

Super friendly spot with ample outdoor seating. Greene sandwich was delicious (vegan garlic aioli -- yum!) the rueben was a pass (vegan cheese too sweet). Friend always gets the b.l.a.t. so can't go wrong there.

I couldn't tell that the pistachio scone was vegan. It was sweetened to the proper degree and the flavor of the pistachio was apparent. The Fudge Brownie was a little dry on the outside but was still ok in flavor.

Who would have thought a vegan cronut would taste so good (and I’m vegan!)! It was crispy and delicious. The po boy was also nice and tangy. Looking forward to coming back. There was minimal single use waste from the food which was great.

I ordered a dozen cupcakes for a friend's birthday, and Clementine was super patient with me when I changed the pickup date (twice), and they were incredibly helpful at pickup when I asked if I could move the dozen cupcakes into two half-dozen boxes so that I could bike to work with them on my handlebars. The cupcakes were also great and held up on biking really well. THANK YOU!!

Amazing bakery in Brooklyn. We got an Apple Maple Bun (very tasty and juicy) and a Pistachio Croissant (huge and creamy) for takeout. I'll surely come back to try the rest of the menu!

Great place for an occasional vegan treat, although the pastry can veer into too-oily or way-too-sweet territory. They have nice cabanas for hanging out and it’s a pretty vibey social neighborhood environment. Their day-old pastry bin is a good way to try things out without breaking the bank. I can’t speak much to their main food menu except to rave about the biscuits & gravy. The customer service ranges from begrudging to outright disdainful, so don’t expect too much in that department.

AMAZING! Pastries and the lemon blueberry cake were delicious! I didn’t set any expectations for a vegan cake but they exceeded them x100. Will definitely be going back to try everything else on their menu.

The easiest way I found to order a simple yet custom birthday cake for my daughter's birthday online. They did an absolutely beautiful job! We actually ordered 2 chocolate cakes - one with light purple frosting and dark purple writing and one with light pink frosting and dark pink writing, and sprinkles of course!! They were not only stunning, but delicious! Everyone at our party was so impressed. We could not have been happier with our experience in ordering and final deliciousness!

Yummy! Corn danish is so good. Banana bread is really yummy too. Love the outdoor space to sit and eat outside too.

The carrot cake was so moist and delicious! Employees are kind. My kale citrus salad had the feta cheese in it this time.

Delicious vegan pastries. Had so many amazing looking options. Scone was great, nicely flaky. Apple muffin was moist and had great crumble on top. Cinnamon roll also great!

Easily one of the best spots that has so much range in foods from the phenomenal baked goods, amazing coffee, breakfast sandwiches & they crush there bowls too. This is exactly what I want out of any Vegan centric spot

*edit* they listened and are now open earlier 😉😂 Sweet employees and great service. Quality stuff! All good things 💖 BYOContainer & other discounts for being a little bit more sustainable! Honestly one of my favorite places in the neighborhood! I really really wish this place opened at least at 8:30!

Nice to have an all-vegan cafe with lots of breakfast and lunch options and a huge selection of baked goods. Just order wisely. I had only come here once before (in 2017) and was ambivalent then. I returned and I’m still ambivalent. I ordered poorly: the breakfast burrito was plain with a tofu scramble that anyone could replicate at home in a wrap (although the vegan bacon bites were distinct); it was cut in half and fell apart. But I was hungry and wanted something healthy and nourishing. At $15 it seemed overpriced for what I got. The almond croissant was also a mistake— big and crispy on the outside and soft and gooey on the inside. It didn’t taste like almond and I couldn’t tell if it was gooey because it had some (non-almond) spread or because it was very undercooked. The inside of the cafe also has a beautiful little market with bulk soaps and other nice things like candles to purchase. I’ll be back to try other things on their menu.
