I just came here for the first time today after passing this place so many times when I am in the area. This little cafe is super cute, very clean and COVID conscientious. They have a small, but impressive menu of items to eat and drink (including beer and wine). The staff is friendly and the barista made me a wicked (meaning good) Matcha Latte. I will definitely be back the next time I am in the area.

Daytime. If you don’t know about it and you’re not looking for it, you won’t find it. Great, great little coffee shop located on a random, residential street and actually, it’s quite close to Prospect Park. Daytime offers up a little bit of everything while you’re there; coffee, tea, fresh in-house made pasteries and sandwiches. *super cute and welcoming spot *bench out front for you to sit & enjoy your purchase(s) *very COVID conscious; plexiglass at counter, staff wearing masks all while still allowing you to grab your own sugar, lid & straw, alongside a bottle of hand sanitizer - I appreciate all of this! *in-house baked goods *give you the option for paper or plastic straw The coffee here is very good... I can certainly speak for that.

I’m always been a lime-lemon fan of everything, so when I knew they were going to have a Lemon Lime Curd Sandwich Cake with Toasted Vanilla Meringue I had to try it, I would say it was really good and I’ll come back for this. It was my first time been here, the place is cute & the staff is friendly. They have plenty of options between food and drinks. I just wish they have more seating.

Our daughter told us about this cafe and although it was quite a hike from south Prospect Park, it was worth it! We ordered the roasted Turkey & bacon sandwich. It was so good & filling! It also came with arugula salad. The dining area (counter & bar stool) is limited. But the good part is that the restroom is clean 👍🏼

Good espresso, tasty baked goods, friendly and fast service, and really cozy seating area and a quiet side street.

I simply adore cute coffee shops, and this place is the cutest in Windsor terrace area. They serve good coffee, yummy food (they have soup and sandwiches too!), and they even sell mustard! What else can you ask for? There is a free library too! Leave a book or take a book. It’s full of light 💡 too. The owner makes the best cappuccino. Try to catch him. I’ve also seen Prosecco on the shelve. Do you guys sell it too? If yes - I’m moving there! Haha. Keep great work up.

came across this spot after a long walk through the park with my dog (they treated him to a big bowl of water) & it’s become my new favorite café. they have the best chai in BK (even make their own concentrate!) & one of the tastiest egg & cheese sandwiches! Can’t wait to try what else is on the menu!

Large selection of pastries and sandwiches, good coffee, limited (but very inviting) seating space.

Good food and pleasant staff. The line is generally long and moves slowly. But the food is worth it. Baked goods are good. I've been here a couple times and the egg sandwich his the spot. The coffee is really good. Parking in the area is generally a nightmare but such if nyc life.

I don’t understand the hype. Coffee is always burnt and matcha always clumpy. Food portions small- sandwiches are slider/snack size- and underwhelming. Lines always out the door, very little seating. Largely homogenous clientele. Generally uncomfortable space to be in, even for a short amount of time. If you prefer a down-to-earth place you can actually sit and comfortably spend time, with better coffee, ELK cafe on PPSW is a much better option.

Such a lovely and cozy place! Great coffee and tasty pastries with vegan options. They also serve breakfast / lunch food. Perfect spot to work or study with a reliable Wi-Fi. Not overcrowded or noisy.

What a sandwich!! I stopped by for a quick workday lunch recently and ordered a smoked turkey and bacon sandwich and WOW am I glad that I did. The meal, served quickly, was one of the best I've had in a while. In addition to the titular turkey and bacon (both perfectly seasoned and cooked) the fixings - including an appropriate clump of arugula, a delicate smear of sweet pepper jam, and a virtuosic arrangement of avocado slices - are equally top notch. Also included was a simple side salad and a handful of fresh cornichons. Paired with an iced coffee and a crisp beer, I can say that this was one of the best lunches/sandwiches/etc. I've had in the city. The price for everything was more than fair. I highly recommend them.

Barista too busy talking on her cell phone to notice your existence, then pulls you a sour espresso shot as a bonus. A new-school Brooklyn classic!

Great spot in Windsor terrace for sandwiches, coffee and cozy hangs! Small area for seating so not the best for working but really happy I stopped by, will definitely be back to try more of the food!

The coffee and matcha lemonade were both delicious (made by a very friendly barista) but the highlight was the breakfast sandwich with pickled shallots and pepper jam add-ons. I can’t stop thinking about it!

Friendly staff. Consistently good coffee. Yummy pastries. The croissants are super buttery. My favorite in the neighborhood.

Great place to stop before going to the park with your pup, servers are always nice and generally a very neighborly vibe. They also have really fun premade “pickwick baskets” you should for sure grab one time.

ricotta tomato arugula salad was delectable— vibrantly seasoned and spiced, sprinkled with delightfully crunchy roasted pepitas, brightened with lemon. perfect for eating in the park on a warm summer day. i will think about this salad often.

The food and coffee here is always good... but of the ~5 or so times I've been here, the staff is always rude. They act like you're a huge imposition after you can finally order (always a wait to order, even without a line), and are dismissive and cold.

Love Daytime, friendly people work here, the lattes are delicious, they'll give you a cup of drip coffee if you buy a bag of beans ("Strong and Tiny" - the best), love the sandwiches, the ginger molasses cookies. It always smells so good in there, bacon sizzling. Great sunlight, plant-filled windows. So lucky to have Daytime in the neighborhood! XO

Barista decline making hot coffee at 5:10, probably because he wanted to leave exactly after coffee shop close at 5:30. He was rude to my wife. Won’t come back here and don’t recommend this place to anyone.

Seriously the best chai (& golden milk!) I’ve ever had (ofc they make it in house & sell it bottled for you to take home!). Wish it was less busy, but so happy they do so much business in the neighborhood! Amazing sandwiches too!

One of my go-to spots in Windsor Terrace! Really great cold brew and drip, espresso coffee and breakfast sandwiches. Decent selection of wine bottles for purchase too.

One of the best breakfast sandwiches of Brooklyn. Added gruyère, arugula, pepper jam, and tomatoes. 🧑‍🍳💋 Also don’t sleep on the orange chocolate olive oil cake. Wowowow… ❤️❤️

Daytime is always great. They're happy to alter so many things on their menu, they even suggested to be to put their scrambled egg sandwich on an everything croissant. Genius

Amazing coffee, pastries, and breakfast sandwiches. Service is always friendly. What else can I say—it’s a great spot! The only downside is it can get crowded on weekday mornings, but even that speaks to the quality & how great this place is. I hope it becomes a longtime Windsor Terrace institution.

Great coffee, cute vibes! The everything crossiant was amazing but the lemon lavender cookie felt a little stale.

the barista was super rude about my service dog (who clearly has a large service dog label on him). will never come back. awful place - they have treats set out for dogs and yet are super rude about service animals? not all disabilities are visible and being rude to someone who needs a service animal is unethical and illegal. not to mention took an extremely long time to get food.

Prices are amazing and let me TELL you about their hot chocolate! I used to think Ciprianis hot chocolate was the best this comes closest to it! $8 cheaper than Ciprianis! I’ve been telling all my customers on Graham Avenue to run in and try it! OMG!
