Very over priced Not worth the trip IMO The food was not good at all. The hookah is way over priced due to the fact they do not refill the coals for the hookah but require you too buy another 39$ just for coals. This is absolutely ridiculous. The Mac cheese was old and oily, wings were not very flavorful. The best things were the drinks and the outdoor seating. I suggest this place for drinks and light hookah. White peach sangria was very good.

Came here from a recommendation from a friend. The vibe here is nice, we came on a weekday midweek so there was karaoke going on. Food was great! Enjoyed the Spicy Thai Shrimp and the Jerk Chicken quesadilla. You can switch up the side and I chose a salad. I just didn't know what kind. It came with a salad with pineapple in it which was not bad at all. Service and drinks were great too!

I honestly had a really good time on a Tuesday night here on not too crowded of a night. The music, food, and drinks were great. The service was amazing. I felt like they really took care of my table. Even when I asked the owner for a song request, she listened immediately and played more songs from the same artist which is ultimately what I wanted lol. Overall, from the service to the vibes I would give this place a 5/5 and I’m definitely going to come back!

The food was absolutely amazing and the music was good which is why we went to the spot twice. Things to notice is that the hookah doesn’t contain nicotine and there’s a 20% mandatory tip added to all bills which I don’t find fair because the service is slow and less than average. However, for the both times the hookah was burned and the drinks extremely watered down. I’m usually tipsy with half of a glass of wine but didn’t feel a buzz after two drinks here. One strange thing is that we were charged with items we didn’t order on the bill both times we visited, and we were lucky to notice thanks to the watered down drinks, lol. The second time my boyfriend got mad because he felt like it was done on purpose as it’s too much of a coincidence that it happened twice. Instead of apologizing, the waiter and another lady (perhaps the manager or owner) started yelling at us and calling names. Very rude and disrespectful.

Love that this is a black owned establishment and enjoyed the music and vibes. However, the hookah was way overpriced and not worth what they charge ($39). Also, we did not realize there was a 20% gratuity charge.

So me and my homegirls slid through on a busy Saturday night and let me tell y’all!!!!! The service was AMAZING, the food was AMAZING, the drinks was AMAZING and so was the vibe. This is a little lowkey spot but it was a great experience! 10/10 highly recommend! And we’re Bougie af!

Black owned business that I've been wanting to support for a while now, and I was disappointed. The food was great, and drinks were overpriced but still great. They do have a policy before taking your order to have your ID and credit/debit card plus an automatic 20% gratuity. That part I didn't care for because no matter if you think you had exceptional service or not, you still have to pay. The music was great, DJ was going in with songs I danced to. Overall, it is a great experience, and it tends to get crowded. They also open late, so that's great for a date night. We will be back!

Update October 2023: Eve’s does brunch! Definitely recommend brunch & doing the mimosa or Bellini carafe. I convinced myself that it is better than those 90-minute bottomless deals b/c you service yourself so your glass is never really empty. The food was delish! That butter that comes with the chicken & waffles is spectacular! Spectacular Black woman owned bar that has been around for a while. I celebrated my birthday here 6 years ago. The service is A1, as the staff are attentive and eager to answer questions about food and drinks. Hookah is available but only outdoors. There wasn’t a DJ when I went but the music was still a vibe, especially if you’re looking to chill and engage in conversations.

Eve's lounge was pretty cool. Beautiful environment and vibe. The food is really good. I got try the buffalo wings wIth buffalo sauce dip, it was delicious, not your usual buffalo sauce. Idk if the sauce was homemade or not but it tasted extremely flavorful peppery, tangy n spicy, delicious. I also got to try the Mac n cheese. It's good, nice small portion. Lastly, i had chef Chris special, jerk shrimp quesadilla. You'll love it. It was DELICIOUS 😋, u might wanna order 2. There's a lot nice dancefloor space with good music.

I went to Eve's for brunch, with my family. The server was very nice but needed some more training. Being friendly is only a part of being a good server. She went to give us placemats and felt like locking her finger to help separate the paper placemats was the way to go. 👎🏽 The drinks we ordered were good and on point. However, the food was another situation. Me and my daughter both ordered shrimp and grits. My husband ordered fish and grits. Our grits looked more like soup and tasted like nothing. My husband's fish was overcooked crispy on the outside and dried out on the inside. With the soupy grits, we were not given any spoons. I asked the server for 3 spoons and she bought us 3 plastic spoons that she was holding in her bare hands (spoon side in palm) 👎🏽👎🏽 I tried to eat my grit soup with my fork and found chunks of grits at the bottom of bowl. Good thing we ordered the mango wings because if we hadn't, we would have been hungry. The wings were good. Once the server cleared our table, we sat there about 7-9 minutes until we asked her to bring us the bill. Over all I'll say if you want a good drink go here.

Good food and even better people. Super friendly service and the place was so clean and spacious which is a rare find in New York. My bartender was Prince and he was real attentive and made a great mimosa. Eve’s Lounge is like an upscale establishment with affordable prices. I only spent $20 on food and $10 for a drink.

The atmosphere was so chill and laid back. It gave like very welcoming vibes. The food and drinks were amazing. And the Hookah was great and long lasting.

Cute place, nice music, well-ventilated but the prices? $18 for a cocktail in Brooklyn is wild. Public hotel doesn’t even do that much and they’re creating unique, fire drinks.

Stopped by after attending first Saturdays at the museum for a friend's birthday event. The atmosphere and music were always a hit and continued to excel in that department. This is a great place for a vibe and making memories.

Atmosphere was great live DJ playing a variety of music 🎶. Drinks reasonably priced. Food is served but haven't had any as yet maybe next time. This my second visit and it has now become my little hangout spot. Black owned which is a plus for me. Parton ranges for all cultures backgrounds which is just amazing 👏. I recommend checking this spot out

Absolutely loved the service, waiters were very attentive to all needs. The food was OK. I had wings which were nice and crispy but needed some more seasoning. The ceasar salad was out of this world (It was great). I had two drinks that were pricey and weren't strong enough. I even added a shot to feel something but it didn't do anything. Went there on a Saturday to have some fun but the music was more to vibe and talk rather than have fun. I also had hookah which was decent but again, pricey.

Love Visiting Brooklyn, LOVE It even more when a local family owned business makes your whole day a little better… simply by giving amazing, personalized service as if you’ve been apart of the local crowd since making their mark here on Washington Ave in 2010. The music is so good….the drinks were perfect, good vibe all the way around! Definitely a nice spot for anyone who enjoys a nice, clean, laid back, modern spot!! Also serves a great little menu of great eats! A MUST VISIT IN BROOKLYN! Specialist mixologist SKY will blow your mind with her skills & kindness.

Upon arrival, warm welcome at the door, allowed us to choose seats due to low traffic. Food service Great! Waiter communication with Chef to accommodate my food allergies was top tier, food was great as well. Waiter was also very informative about upcoming events for the venue. DJ was on fire! Overall great experience and will return soon.

I popped into Eve’s with some friends after visiting the Brooklyn Museum. The music was amazing (lots of afrobeats) and I also enjoyed the sweet chili wings, fries, and white peach sangria. The staff was also super friendly. Would definitely come back for good drinks and vibes!

Love love love this spot. Prince & Skye were just amazing. We loved the vibe, the experience, the music. It was the perfect spot to get away from hustle, bustle Manhattan feel to something a bit more down to earth. Made us want to move to the neighborhood 🙌✨

My guy and I stumbled across Eves one Saturday due to being hungry. We’ve since been back a second time. The food is good, our server Skye was knowledgeable and attentive. The owner and her team were warm, personable, funny and made us feel welcome. Glad we found this spot… and I’m still trying to figure out how I’ve missed Eves all these years.

Food was amazing and made to order which to me is better than frozen and just thrown in microwave vibe. Sky the bartender/ waitress is what customer service is all about. She exudes excellence and takes it to another level. My husband and wife are from Jersey and will be becoming over this bridge again before you know it. Owner is personable and loved, this place is just right for black excellence but truly for all people and I loved every moment. Being a music junkie the atmosphere and music make you stay in love or fall in love.

Went to this place recommended from another restaurant that was closing early. When we got to the restaurant it was a nice environment with nice music. There was only one waiter to serve all the tables so we did have more of a wait than we wanted. Asked for recommendations on food choices waiter was not helpful didn’t give any. Food came out one at a time at least 5 minutes apart and there was 4 of us. Had to ask waiter where was the last meal said it was still cooking came out 15 minutes later after the rest of us almost finished our food. Was served paper plates with our appetizers. Food had no seasoning wasn’t happy with my fish and grits. Wasn’t a huge selection on the brunch menu. Prices were a little steep for quality of food. Drinks were on point ! Get more waiters and possibly more cooks because wait time for food was extensive.

The most incredible black owned establishment in Brooklyn. Food is amazing , the vibe is extremely comforting.. the music is the icing on the cake. I recommend if you’re in town you should visit. Shout out to the line cook who makes the most delicious food!

This place is not okay by me. My friend was eating the rest of my jerk shrimp toco because I didn't like it. She found some kind of hard plastic in the toco. The owner come over and talk to us like we were her kids.. because we didn't tell them right away. She was not apologetic. She was accusing us of eating the food and wanting a refund. And we were are like.. but Ms. it was hard plastic in the food. 5 mins later the waiter came and said my boss told me to give y'all the check. They're gonna delete this. I'll post this on other platforms. Edit/Response: Yes we were there for some hours. Yeah we had rounds. It was like 6 of us. One drink did fall and was replaced. All true. Also true. It was hard plastic in the food that was discovered on her last bite. Which was explained. The way the owner addressed the table was rude. No concern for the customer. The owner showed more concern about the 25. Meal. I didn't like the way we were spoken to. The owner pretty much told me to stop talking. I had to tell her I had the right to talk. Also true. And we didn't ask for the whole night to be free. . Just that one meal that had PLASTIC in it. We paid the bill without an issue. We even paid the forced gratuity of 50+ dollars.. Less.. lmao smh.

Oh my god! What an exceptional dining experience. my first time visiting NYC, I dined at Eves. me and the girls just wanted an authentic Brooklyn experience. Now that I am a Brooklyn local, I have became a regular here! I just felt right at home immediately. P.S. make sure you ask for Skye for the drinks because they are off the chain!

AMAZINGLY FRESH FOOD!! BLACK FAMILY OWNED BUSINESS. The food was fresh I ordered the crispy wings and sweet potato and garlic Parmesan fries NO COMPLAINTS!!! Not oily chicken fried all the way through and crispy which I enjoyed. Came in slightly intoxicated left sober and refreshed with a good quick bite as the food came out quickly. Our server Cody was absolutely amazing dont lose this super attentive guy he needs his own tip jar!!!!! Can’t wait to visit next to sit down and enjoy the vibe again…. Side note: turn the music down a bit loves. Signed: Youpaymoneytoeathere

This place is a nice little hang out spot to have a date night or catch up with friends. Their drinks come in the little caprison pouches for $15. Pricey yes but that young bartender girl is a beast with the drinks.... STRONG and WORTH every penny! The food is not a huge selection but what they do have is tasty so u won't be disappointed. Staff are all super friendly with good personalities. The best part for me.... Black owned and reliable! They open when they say they are open! 10☆

Honestly, this restaurant is ridiculously over priced. The Hookah doesn’t even have Tabacco and it cost $39 for a hookah that doesn’t even have refills. The drinks overpriced and watered down. The staff was sweet but it’s the place and their prices. Way too overpriced for what they offer. I don’t mind paying for good quality but this place doesn’t have any when it comes to food and drinks.

Had dinner here after seeing the pictures online. The music was way too loud, I couldn’t carry a conversation and was forced to doodle on my phone. The peach Sangria, although very flavorful…was weak lacking alcohol. The food we ordered was the salmon bowl, and it was stale noodles with what seemed like microwave veggies and fried frozen salmon filet. Our bill for 2 drinks and two salmon bowls was $72 and they charged us $14 automatic tip. I support BOB but I won’t be visiting there again.

My partner and I mainly love coming to catch a vibe because they have great hookah and strong drinks.Their henny punch is no joke & a must-try! The food will satisfy you. It’s a quaint spot with a smaller dining room but I’ve always felt like I’ve had an intimate experience whenever we come. Staff is always super welcoming and friendly. The music is great as well and they usually play hip-hop and r&b.

The spot is meh. The hookah barely taste the flavor you requested, probably because it’s no nicotine or tobacco and they refill the coals for three dollars which is insane considering the hookah i had they used one coal and split it in half, WILD. Half of the shisha was used the other half unused. In order to get ANOTHER coal you have to purchase a whole new hookah. Which is $40.00.

I truly love everything about Eve’s Lounge. I’ve been going to Eve’s since 2015, and it’s my favorite place to unwind, hang out, and celebrate. Deborah and Kim are dedicated to creating an atmosphere that is welcoming, inclusive, and fun! The bartender, Skye, has the best smile on the planet. I’ve made so many friends at Eve’s. I enjoy my meal every time (some of my favorites include the shrimp tacos, chicken sandwich, and the brunch kale salad). Their rum punch is the best anywhere and Wednesday karaoke night is the bomb! If you haven’t been to Eve’s yet, you are really missing out!

How do I began ? This is a nice spot to come with 1or 2 of your friends and not a group due to the night that I went March 18,2023 going into March 19,2023 it was a bad experience. One our waiter was our host as well and he was doing 5 other tables. There was 15 of us and he forgot to give the order at the end of the table an have us waiting for a while extra 2 hours for our food. Then the prices for a jerk shrimp taco were $27.00 for only 2 with lack of shrimp toms of lettuces it felt like if my finace and I order a mini salad, the quantity of the food was very poor for the price you are being charged for . I also order the jumbo shrimp and only got five and they wasn't even that big, however I can only say the waiter really tried this best despite him having an argument messing up the other side of the table bill in my party. The only thing that was good was my drink my friends didn't really enjoy as much either and was quite hungry after. Overall Eve is a good hang out spot just make sure you eat before going.

Eve's is a excellent restaurant bar lounge. The food and drinks are really good. The bartender knows how to make a good drink. This is definitely a excellent spot to come to if you like sports because they have 3 TVs and you could watch multiple at one time. Today I was able to watch football playoff games and basketball teams I like at the same time because they do have the NBA package. I recommend stopping by for a good meal and a good cocktail

Absolutely enchanted by my experience at Eve’s Lounge. The bartender on 2/8/24 crafted the most extraordinary drinks with precision and flair. Their knowledge and passion for mixology are truly exceptional. The ambiance at the bar is a perfect blend of sophistication and warmth, creating a welcoming atmosphere that enhances the overall enjoyment. Without a doubt, Eve’s Lounge is a gem for those seeking not just great drinks, but an unforgettable evening. A five-star rating doesn't seem sufficient for the marvelous time I had!
