Tacos were ok. 34 dollars for 3 tacos and a " free " drink. Drinks were very very good. The guy mixed them very well. Atmosphere is great. Tattoo and piercing downstairs

Nice hole in the wall place. Bar seems really chill and you'll wouldnt expect a tattoo place underneath. Spanish flair on the bar foods and drinks are a bit expensive. But came for an experience thru Fever App. Learned to tattoo on a honeydew melon. Teacher was blunt and to the point. A lot of people weren't listening or following directions, and we're possibly drunk already on the one free drink and that slowed people down but that's to be expected. Learned a lot and it was a lot of fun. Would absolutely recommend and go back if I could.

Went in for a septum piercing and literally got my cartilage pierced instead. Had to get it redone somewhere more professional - I recommend ahimsa piercing studio, they redid it correctly. Trust me it’s worth the money, I was lucky I only went for a septum so the scar isn’t noticeable but this is permanent body modification

Not a detail left undone! Food, drinks, atmosphere, and especially service were A++. I stopped in for food and drinks before Billy Idol and was greeted by Antai. Her and I hit it off! She made the most delicious passion fruit spicy margarita and helped me pick out what to eat. I fell in love with FIB and came back 3 times throughout the night, bringing new friends I met at the concert along. I will be back!!! What's not to love?!?! Tacos, tequila, and tattoos!!!

First time tonight at FIB, pre Billy Idol....exceptional in any and every way you need prior to a show at King's........very welcoming bartenders, fast on point service, solid bottle selection and strong pours.........if I lived in the neighborhood I would be a regular easily....GREAT VIBE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Every food item I've tried was a hit. The most amazing arepas...( the reina) was my absolute favorite. Really good tacos, burgers, wings and fries. Good tattoo artists and dope atmosphere.

This review is mainly for the service received, because the food was delicious. You got 4 people tending the bar and neither one of them dare to make eye contact with the customers. This bar has so much potential considering is right next to such a famous landmark, Kings Theater, but the service provided does not make me want to return there. My husband ordered two drinks and our food. Food arrived and our drinks did too. My husband asked for another round and the girl just forgot about them, just carried on ignoring guest and attending to others. To get the check I had to flag the girl, to pay I had to flag her as well. We could’ve simply walked out and they wouldn’t have noticed. Yes, let’s give the benefit of doubt that they were busy because concert patrons were trickling in but their tap beers were not working and all they offered was highballs and bottle or canned beers. I repeat a place is such a good location should have better service.

I’ve gotten pierced here multiple times. Why? I don’t know. I guess because it’s local. Every time I come here their vibe/energy just throws me off. I really don’t think they care to cater to black people. I’ve watched how they interact with white customers, and it’s a total different experience. Last time I came, the guy with the big septum piercing energy was so off, I’m like yep that’s it, def not coming back here. And they have expressed that they don’t care to do piercings because tattooing is where the big bucks are at. Lmao. They do not have great bed side manner at all. & YA’LL ARE IN EAST FLASTBUSH. THE HOOD. Act like you care to service the people of this neighborhood, aka black people!

My sisters and I went in to see if we could get a tattoo. Three small hearts that matched. We had a warm welcome and greeting until we met the tattoo artist. He was rushing us, very abrasive and dismissive due to a workshop he was having. I understand it could not have been done the same day but he could have been nicer and we would have gladly came back. Three potential customers turned off. No good

I'm not sure of the vibes upstairs at the bar and food area we mainly went for, "The Friday the 13th Tattoo Flash Sale." We only went upstairs to use the bathroom it wasn't disgusting but it could definitely be cleaner and they might want to put that huge tissue role on a holder instead of just laying there. Kinda unsanitary everyone has to touch the entire roll. Germs 🤢 🦠 Downstairs: All the tattoo artists were very welcoming nice and friendly. It's was crowded only because people including my group took forever to make a decision. I wish they had more angel numbers in different fonts. I ended up not getting a tattoo because I didn't like the selection but my friends did. The service was very personal and quite quick from start to finish. They allow people to take photos and be near your friend to support them during the tattoo process. They are definitely not easily distracted because it was loud in there and they were focused. Also we lingered around; sat down, chatted after the tattoos and they didn't kick us out nor complain. They were very nice. It wasn't my scene but on customer service they get 5 stars. Patience 5 stars. Selection ehhhh 3 stars. Professionalism 5 stars. They were very respectful and nice no matter how drunk and loud customers were. Also smart idea doing a bar/tattoo shop together.

Cool bar, nice seating and overall vibe . Female bartender had an attitude but I just avoided her. Lol. Tattoo class was very fun. I definitely have a new respect for tattoo artist, holding a vibrating needle to scratch an image into someone skin is no easy task. Definitely recommend.

Delivery was delicious. Looking forward to eating there. Latin cuisine with a bar twist. Heads up chimichuri sauce seems to be more mayo based then oil. But delicious.

Clean spot, inside and outside. Service was on point. They had a sense of normalcy... In the best way. Safety first, but they DID NOT have that familiar post apocalyptic vibe. 🙌🏽🙌🏽 Drinks was ultra strong. Didn't eat tho. I'll be sure to give an update for that soon.

Came here for a one drink wonder with my homegirl after a hard days work … was skeptical because it is still early(3:30pm) but let me tell you! The vibe was great! Bartender was beautifully on point! Highly recommend! For sure will be coming back at any time of the day! Thank you FIB 🙏🏽

I went here to go to the bar upstairs and get a tattoo at the shop downstairs. Everything was fine at first. I got my tattoo, then I decided to purchase jewelry from the shop to change the jewelry in my piercings I had come in with as well (About 4 pcs). Unfortunately in my sleep, one of my piercings came loose and I went back the next day to have them replace & re-screw it on (microdermal) when I went there, one of the female tattoo artist with a skunk stripe didn’t offer to replace it for free, but instead gave me a price which was more than what I originally paid, and she seem to have no care that the piercer who had originally swapped out my jewelry in the shop did not screw it in tight enough. Reluctantly I still chose to move forward and PURCHASE a new piercing jewelry for my piercing, and when they bring out the jewelry to choose from, I saw my old piercing that I had removed and swapped there previously laid RIGHT out WITH the debris that was left behind still on there. I was absolutely disgusted and I’m sad and sick to my stomach because I love that shop. No one seemed to care either . Instead she snickered & tried to belittle me. PLEASE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Every once in a while you come across a surprise. The FIB Burger was just that, the menu mentions Wagyu beef which I quickly dismissed. Expecting heavily to get an over seasoned mess but that wasn't to be. What showed up at my table was a cacophony of subtle acrobatically balanced flavour with a high quality beef that shocked my sensibility. I don't know what kind of underground backdoor room diplomatic connections the chef has but if ignorance is bliss, corruption must be ecstasy.

Typical dive bar spot. Of course they were a lil racist. Yes, it's Hispanic ran- but the bartender serviced a white guy who just walked up when I was waiting for her to acknowledge/service me as I had been standing there waiting for her to finish taking the order of another group. Food is meehhh....if you're drunk enough....it tastes good

Great space and delicious food! But the service is awful. Went there on a Saturday night and the young bartender, a Latina girl ,was totally rude. Her personality was obnoxious and she acted as if she didn't want to serve me or my partner. She was paired with a bartender a male who didn't know English, he had great energy but he didn't understand my our orders. But, at least he was polite! That woman is an awful representation of the Tattoo bar… I've been there 4 times and Friday was the first time I had an awful experience. I most likely won't be returning.

Bar review: walked in and the vibe seemed cool. Ordered a gin and tonic and a tequila soda, and assumed they would use well liquor since it was not clarified, as wvery single bar I have every been to has done. The bartender immediately grabbed top shelf liquor and poured the drinks before we knew what was going on, and when we tried to correct her, she played dumb and continued to charge the top shelf price even when we said we didnt want that liquor. We were nearby for a concert, and I dont want to make assumptions but it seemed like a scam she had pulled before.

Very friendly place and food isnt to bad, the drinks arent expensive and the singers they hire are pretty good. They have a tattoo shop on the bottom floor if you want a tattoo as well.

Concert night at the venue, ordered gin tonic and tequila soda, bartender just by default grabbed the most expense version of each liquor and charged a fortune for it. I told her that was ridiculous but she just glared at me. Either don't come here or be very clear about well drinks, although those aren't much cheaper.

don’t get pierced here!!!! went in to get a septum piercing bc i’ve gotten a couple tattoos there before so im thinking things will go smooth. i sat on the chair, the needle goes through and then she tells me that the jewelry doesn’t wanna go in so we have to pierce it a second time. i honestly should’ve turned back then and there bc i was starting to have doubts when she said that but i said whatever, do what you gotta do. she pierces it the second time, puts in the jewelry and i look in the mirror and it’s crooked!!!! im thinking it’s just the piercing so im fixing it, moving it around a bit and it still looks bad!!! even my bf said it. i looked up to see it from another angle and it just looks TERRIBLE. she then had the AUDACITY to blame it on the ‘anatomy’ of my nose… IF IT REALLY WAS THE ANATOMY SHE SHOULD’VE TOLD ME “hey i don’t think this piercing is gonna go right bc the anatomy of your nose” BEFORE SHE PUT A NEEDLE THROUGH IT. never going back not even for a tattoo

This experience was only related to the bar, not the tattoo shop. About a month ago, I went in with my boyfriend to get a drink. There was one bartender and a bar back working. Bartender was friendly but seemed overwhelmed. It was impossible to get anyone’s attention, including the bar back who we spoke to but blatantly ignored us and another woman who asked to pay for her pick up order. There was an incident with another set of customers and the bartender was completely (understandably?) absorbed. We were there 15-20 minutes and after the initial interaction to give us a menu, no one spoke to us again. We left and won’t be back.

I was excited about this place, especially as there are very limited options in the area. Beer selection was good, though the chart was innaccurate bc no one could reach it to change the listings. I wanted to order food, but sat for 20 mins (at the bar!) and was politely ignored. Couldn't get a 2nd beer. I couldn't even get the bartenders attention to close my tab, so I had to leave cash on the bar. They weren't busy and I'm not the obnoxious type, so not sure what that was about.

I only went to the bar, and they weren't serving food at the time. So this is solely a review of the bar staff and drinks. Good news: The drinks were pretty good. Mojito was great, the margarita tasted a little unusual (sour mix instead of lime juice maybe?) but it wasn't bad at all. Good pricing with the happy hour too. Bad News: I'm not entirely sure what was going on that day, but there were 5 people behind the bar and they seemed to just want to talk to each other. First round was fine, but I was a little turned off when the bartender tipped herself out from my change without my consent. She definitely got a smaller tip for doing that than she would have if she just sat my change back on the bar. Bad form. $1 per drink on a self tip is pretty low standards. Second round was fine. Quick response time and good drink. They let me tip them better too. Third round never came, we sat with empty glasses, trying to catch somebody's eye, but we were just ignored. 10 or 15 minutes later we left. Not sure what the vibe of this bar normally is, guessing I should have shouted for service. overall a poor performance. Maybe we just caught them on an off day, but I don't have any reason to come back and try again.

It was nice and a chill bar to just hang out and talk. The food and the drinks where good. We had a good time

Great food & the kitchen is open later than most places. The drinks are good. The tattoo stuff is downstairs and we didn’t check it out. My wife reports the bathroom is “sketchy” which is how she describes almost every public restroom in NYC (I didn’t get a chance to see). There is outdoor dining that is comfy / relatively quiet and private. I would for sure return!

Had the Picada platter and it was great! Really enjoyed my drinks. The bartender (I believe his name was Jake), made us an awesome surprise drink. I will definitely be back. It is a cool, little dive bar that is great for locals.. Yum!

Am always here it's the only place with draft in the neighborhood, I appreciate you guys. Besides that, the atmosphere is cool and it is always that way. The bar tenders are cool too. 😉

Former tattoo artist alert! I strongly advise against working at this place. The management is lacking, the owner shows no concern for employees, and the shop’s condition is far from ideal poor sanitation and a disregard for basic health and safety standards. I wouldn’t recommend getting any piercings or tattoos here lacks proper training for safe procedures
