As a youngster who happens to be in their late 60s, I know what it’s like to go into a “gay bar” and feel 100% invisible. Every experience I’ve had at 3 Dollar Bill has made me feel genuinely like I am welcome just as i am. And thanks to the unending creative brilliance of Cake Boys and Princess, as someone who has seen 40 years of performance in New York, I’m here to say that I have seen some of the finest performance work I’ve ever seen in the city at 3 Dollar Bill. A great space, with ongoing imaginative decor, terrific lighting, and an immaculate sound system, I eagerly look forward to staying out far too late again at 3DB.

Spacious beautiful bar/club. Came for the first time for their Tuesday Drag Show. Totally worth it! Incredible performance from well known drag queens. Nice drinks, and fast service. Very friendly environment! Definitely coming again!!!

Nice bar, good vibe. The Chicago show we went to started over an hour late and had like a 45 minute intermission, so we left before the end. Rather annoying at $50 per ticket. Drinks are expensive ($20 for house vodka and draft beer) but it's Bushwick/E Williamsburg so that's not really that surprising. The show was the more annoying bit.

Cute space and amazing show but the venue is RIDICULOUSLY OVERPRICED. We paid 24$ to watch Naomi Smalls to then realise that she just performed 1 song and a half. A TOTAL SCAM Very rude staff and if you speak with an accent even more (so typical)…. 26$ for two shots or 9$ a pint of the cheapest beer in the market. (Depending of who you order from the price might vary) I’ve seen those bartender procedures on tourists before. EMBARRASSING

This is by far the best bar in all of NYC in my opinion. It's super LGBTQ friendly and even if you aren't, still a great place to have fun! The venue is gigantic with a huge indoor auditorium style dance floor, probably a football size field backyard venue and other spaces within the bar itself. They hosts a bunch of events and you can find all the info on their website which is super easy to use and understand. Definitely the place to have the night of your life and a great freaking time with amazing music and an awesome venue! 👌🏽

The venue was great but I was so disappointed. We paid 20$ to watch Aquaria supposedly for 4 hours.. She did 2 lipsyncs. Let alone the atrocious smell and the bad onion rings. Also, they apply a 22% addition when you pay by card???

Went here for a drag show event. The venue had food onsite which was OK for the price. The show was OK even though the crowd showed favor to the white performers over the POC. Gentrified spot in BK. Be sure to check your receipts if you open a tab. They added charges that were not accurate paid $100 for 3 glasses of amaretto. Bartender couldn’t produce a receipt with my charges. Except they printed a small bill with random charges that were not my drinks for rum and vodka. They did the same thing to my friend who drank less but still have $100+ bill. Lesson: pay in cash and always check prices before picking up your drink!

This place was really fun. My first time here, and I came form a Glee drag show. Absolutely loved it. There was lots of space; inside dance area, a bar area, a inside seating are with tvs, and an outside area. The food was very good, and there was someone selling weed inside. Overall such a fun experience!!

Went there for Eurovision and they made us all go get our own chairs from the back, and they didn’t know how to stream the show so we ended up with an illegal stream of Swedish TV which was incredibly hard to follow. Oh, and we missed the first 35mins of the show because the person didn’t know how to connect the sound.

Although the inside of this place is nice and spacious and the people seem really nice, the prices for beer are outrages .. i went there last night with my boyfriend and we both had 4 beers each and my bill came out to $90 😳.. so that is more that $11 per beer. Absolutely insane !! I will not be going back ever again .

I experienced transphobia/profiling at this venue by the bouncers. I was quizzed on the details of my ID because my photo didn’t match my gender presentation. My partner and I were yelled at, spoken to with profanity, and menaced. The bouncers claimed that couldn’t be transphobic since they work at a queer bar — this place is unsafe for TGNC folks.

Be prepared for the surcharges to enter the more lively sections of the bar. The drinks are also incredibly expensive for the location. A vodka cranberry exceeded $10.

Such a great venue. Have been a few times now for drag shows and it's always entertaining. The bar staff are amazingly attentive and kind and there is a really good vibe in the space. Both indoor and outdoor space is available.

If you have any hesitation about going here, forget it. 3DB is the place you go to when you want a night to escape the rigors of your day to day. From bouncers to bartenders, you feel welcome. It's not a place built on pretense. Go. Just go. You'll enjoy yourself. :)

3 dollar bill? More like $300 dollars spent every weekend here because I can't get enough of this place! Great venue with amazing events all queer friendly! If I could sleep here I probably would cause I am here so often

Beautiful venue but New York State law states (the venue also has a paper reciting this as well) that one must ask for a straw to get one to help cut down on plastic waste. Yet they give one to EVERY customer. You're forcing plastic on people who have put their blood sweat and tears and to try and help the planet and it takes tiny steps. Nothing happens over night. They need to stop. The one bartender started arguing with me and sounded crazy talking all political. He didn't sound mentally stable at all.

I went there with friends for the Mother Disco party. Music was good but very poor service otherwise. That one short guy with a cap at the bar wouldn't get our order and prioritize anyone else. The worst was to be asked to lock it up when I manifested I had been waiting for 20+ minutes and other customers coming after us were served before us. Simply do your job right or do something else, being nice to customers and getting their order is not an optional part of your job desc. And the little show with your attitude and fingers was really not needed to demonstrate your lack of customer centricity. What's wrong with you?!! Not even mentioning the queue at this point. We spent about 1h at the coat check to leave our stuffs, and another 1h to get them back. That's about the same time we spent dancing at this venue.

GO! I got to see this legendary DJ by the name of Jody Wisternoff perform there for INOKI events +++ had the greatest time ever. Thank you to the incredible team of people that run this place and the friendliest bartenders that made it such a great experience.

The event stated it starts a 7:00 pm but actually started at 9:50pm. Some how I brought six tickets and the building fought to get the money back for the five tickets that I didn't even know I brought. I think maybe it's bad Karma on my part. Peace,Love, and joy!

The one time I was here last Pride Month was a night I can never forget since my experience here was nothing short of superb. 3 Dollar Bill has everything a nightclub could offer including amazing views of Williamsburg and Bushwick. Parking can be tricky but in the end it was all worth it. Good memories are meant to be made here.

Amazing place and people, one horrible experience with a worker that ruined our night. We had been looking forward to seeing Aja and the ball, and really everything was a lot of fun. However, I lit a cigarette inside (saw another one doing it, thought it was ok, first time in New York). One pleasant worker said I should smoke outside, I said of course and apologized. Was taking my stuff and heading out, another horrible worker came and started yelling at me, even though he saw that the first guy already warned me and I was heading out. He was extremely aggressive and started pushing me to the outside area as I was literally walking there. This experience had ruined a lifelong dream of seeing the ballroom scene in Brooklyn. It takes nothing to be nice and tell a person to go outside. Or listen as he explains to you that he’s trying to tell his partner to meet him outside. Nonetheless, recommended. If you see a whiteass guy with a blond strip in his hair, tell him he sucks :)

Strong and tasty drinks for decent prices. Love the vibe too of course! My friends and I always come here to watch drag race and it's super fun

Great show, honestly. But beware signposting and so forth may not be clear — check you’re in the right part of the venue, and if you have VIP ticket that you understand what to do with that when you get in — they won’t necessarily explain it to you.

Saw an incredible drag show here, it was Beyonce Through the Years and none of the performers disappointed. The vibes are great everyone is gassing up the people on stage, giving the energy back to them, it's beautiful. I will say though it gets pretty crowded in there and I sympathize with the shorter people that need to see, the stage is honestly not that high. Also the music was so insanely loud my ears were ringing for days, they need to fix that. Overall though an awesome venue.

Don’t even know where to start. Came for a halloweekend event and unless you were wearing over 200 accessories you were charged an extra $10 to get in, then the doors opened at 9 but the event didn’t start for 3 more hours? No energy and just INCREDIBLY rude staff, never going back there again lmao

Wouldn’t go here if you are looking for a safe space as a queer person. I had a male employee call me a d*ke while I was visiting the bar and when I tried to contact the bar, they claimed that this person didn’t work at 3db and offered a very sad excuse for an apology. Won’t be going back

Im not sure who started hiring the DJs for Sunday tea dance but the quality has gone down a lot. Owners should at least bring down the 30 dollar cover charge down to 5 dollars. Really upsetting as this place used to be good.

Great spot!! Love that there are seats and TV screens where you can sit and watch the performance if you need to take a break. Also love that they have a bar with seats. It’s so important for accessibility reasons!! Appreciate it

I was introduced to 3 Dollar Bill thanks to the Oscar at the Crown shows put on by the Neon Coven. It’s a very spacious place, and the outdoor food truck has pretty good food options. It’s not a dive bar, so don’t expect dive bar prices. I think it’s a fun place to see a performance or just dance
