Temperature was taken at the door. contact tracing information was taken as well. We were given the option of sitting inside, outside in the front cabana or outside in the back yard. The server was very curtious and the bartender was very sweet. We enjoyed our date here. Would return again. The hot drink was delicious

Heavy rotation of employees. This establishment utilizes the services of the Chinese food restaurant next door. The alley behind the establishment is rodent infested. They have a failed heating system/dining shelter in front that has not been in use while occupying previously used parking spaces that should be available to the public. In my opinion the principal owner maintains an inability to provide a cordial/professional relationship between his own staff and patrons while expressing a facade of a speakeasy atmosphere for many years.

Nice vibe and well-crafted cocktails. Asian bites from next door are hot and satisfying but it took 15 mins to put in an order and get some tap water, and another 40 mins to get our drinks. We basically had to gulp the drinks down and go to catch a nearby restaurant reservation. Tried to stay patient given that it’s pandemic times and restaurants/bars are struggling with labor shortages but they had two bartenders and two people working the floor, so not sure that explains it. May give it one more try but I will plan timing accordingly just in case.

Oh so sad. This establishment has no way of treating customers as someone who is coming to have a good time. First, the staff is just absolutely rude and seemingly unhappy in their position. Expect eye rolls if you order a (ordinary) drink that might not be on the menu. Second, they are massively understaffed and it shows in the time you have to wait for a) drinks, b) food. Expect around 40-60min if they are approx. 20 guests. Third, while the atmosphere might be nice, you will be charged for random things without an explanation or an upfront explicit notice that those are extra. Then you receive a bill with a number exceeding your expectations without itemization. Sad experience. Good drinks, horrible staffing, horrible service.

I'm so happy I visited Tooker Alley! On the recommendation of a friend who was having a birthday, we all went here and had an amazing time. If you enjoy well made craft cocktails, then this is the place for you! The menu alone is unbelievable. The descriptions provided for each cocktail read like a story. What I also love is that the menu isn't too overwhelming with options. The waitress was also extremely friendly and very knowledgeable on drinks in general. I can't wait to come back here!

Had Japanese appetizers which were very good. So was the wine. Light jazz music. Pleasantly surprised, after visit to Brooklyn museum. Will definitely come back!

Cool atmosphere, especially on nights they host live Jazz. The barman was friendly and knowledgeable, the drinks, delicious and unique. Can’t wait to go back. Awesome experience.

It was a fun experience, good vibe, and the staff was friendly. I liked how serious they took the vaccine requirement too. They have a back yard which was nice but needs updating. The prices were expected but still seemed a bit overpriced. $5 for a club soda seemed excessive.

Had a really unpleasant experience here with the staff. I was with a group of friends on a Friday night and it was quite busy and understaffed, so we were patient with the fact that it took over 30 minutes for one round of drinks to arrive. However, when the drinks did arrive, they brought us the wrong order, which caused some confusion, and we asked for the order to be corrected. Everything else went smoothly until we received the check. The check had extra charges and when we asked about them, we were told it was because we were "a difficult table" because "the thing with the martinis" (i.e. asking for the correct drink) "was A LOT". On what planet is it not ok to ask for the thing you actually ordered - let alone be charged a BS fee for it? The waitress continued to be rude to us so we asked to speak to the manager but he was busy socializing at the bar and did not even bat an eye at the idea of sorting out the situation. Definitely not coming back here.

Love this charming speakeasy in Prospect Heights! You'd be hard pressed to find a better cocktail in Brooklyn (besides Clover Club obviously).

I really like the vibe of this place and i was ready to try more drinks and food however our service took too long. Our food never made it after waiting 40 plus minutes. We asked to follow up on it but it still never made it to us and we had to cancel the food. Such a shame.

Charming, intimate place for cocktails! I came early on a Thursday evening, and it was still quiet and not too full. I had an excellent French75 which was part of their happy hour specials (until 7pm), but was eyeing many of the other interesting cocktails available to order.

Very creative and well made cocktails at a good price. The outdoor space is really cute, and the indoor area is super cozy (in winter especially I bet). Props for the good jazz playing inside. Great spot for dates / friends looking to catch up in a welcoming atmosphere with good drinks and vibes.

FYI: it is closed on Mondays. Seems like a great spot - hope to go back on a non Monday in the future.

This is a great bar to feel like a local in the neighborhood. - every Sunday and Monday, they have to love jazz. The musicians rotate, so it is a different vibe all the time and all-around great music - great cocktails. The menu is very detailed and historical, with a great selection, and the bartender, Raul, is very attentive. All the menu cocktails (that I’ve had) are delicious, and you can tell Raul what you are in the mood for and what you like, and he will mix you something along those lines - I have yet to be disappointed - food: the menu is from the restaurant next door. They partnered up during the pandemic when NYC mandated that all restaurants with to-go alcohol had also to serve food. I haven’t ordered food there, so I cannot speak to that experience.

Announced on Instagram 12/24/20 they are temporarily to-go only! They have a pretty intense heater system for their covered outdoor street seating, whenever that reopens. Check their social for details on ordering batched cocktails to-go. Their drinks are great, complex and unique. So worthwhile. Mandatory food order is Asian fusion and tasty too!

Tooker Alley is amazing. The cocktails are creative and simply delightful (highly recommend the desert samurai), the ambiance is romantic, and the staff are warm and welcoming. I've been coming here for the past 5 years and can't recommend it enough. If you live in the neighborhood be sure to come out and support this place, and if you don't live in the neighborhood be sure to make a trip out!

Amazing vibe. Low light, jazz music, hard woods. Great drinks, too. This place will definitely be a regular spot for me.

easily one of the best cocktail bars in nyc and a real "if you know you know" spot. the owner created the cocktail renaissance of the 2000s and if you're in the industry you know how much the cocktail scene is indebted to him. the bartenders here are fantastic and will give you what you didn't know you wanted.

This exceeded my expectations! The food was incredible and at the highest standard of quality. The drinks were delicious and not over the top —presentation of said drinks was also spectacular. AND they have a 4% discount if you pay in cash. Will absolutely be coming back!

Great drinks and the atmosphere was wonderful. The snack type food came from a next door restaurant but was still hot and delicious. There was live Jazz on the night we went. Loved it. Our server definitely was not trying to be our friend but was up to the task in every other way.
