The security in this place is ridiculous. They have a hole dug out of the wall in a private bathroom to watch people and what they do in the there. I was using the bathroom and suddenly I see a flashlight sticking through a hole staring at me. This is a huge invasion of privacy and against the law. I will be filing a claim against them today. Do not book your events here as your guests will most likely be violated in a similar way. Not to mention the sound is TERRIBLE! Last 2 events I went to, the artists I went to see were not even able to play because of the technical difficulties. Never going here again.

This venue is now called "The Meadow". I played here with my band a little less than a month ago. It's a big warehouse in East Williamsburg with not a lot going on in the surrounding area, but it was still pretty fun to play. The sound system was decent, the drums were in shambles, and there were no amps back-lined so we had to bring our own, but my main gripe with the venue is that they ignored our emails about a door deal or anything about pay before and after the show. Although it was a quiet weekday, we had folks there that bought tickets and overpriced drinks. I believe that this venue stole from us and the other artists.

Another hole in the wall but had a great time. Not much to choose from when it comes to beer and drinks. Can't go in and out like it's a crime. Pregame is a must. Chill backyard to smoke whatever it is you smoke

I really like this place, nice decor and vibe. My son's friend was singing a few songs. I heard a couple of other singers. Perhaps rap is not my thing, but it was neat(cool). I would recommend this venue.

Yesterday I visited this venue for the first time, and in itself it is a pleasant place with a nice courtyard. I would have given this club 4-5 stars, but they sold me a can of Modelo beer for $17. I just can't figure it out. It's definitely not a fancy club or craft beer. Just WHY.

I honestly can’t stand this place. Bartender with the head tatt is a certified jerk — extremely rude to all customers and refused to give out a small cup of water. He accused my friend of not supporting the bands playing bc he asked for WATER. Made multiple snarky remarks and when I hesitated to spend $8 on a can of tecate he continued his snide behavior. It’s $16 for a tallboy btw. The venue is fine, but they keep the lights very bright inside which kills the vibes if you’re there for a hardcore show. I also am not a fan of places that don’t let you exit and return. All exits are final here, so if you need to go grab food or whatever mid show/fest, you wont be let back in. The only reason I’ve come back (and the only reason I’m giving them 2 stars vs 1) is that they often have really good bands come and play here. Otherwise, I’d avoid this place like the plague.

Intimate little spot with good tonic, at least. They don't carry a single IPA, which is a bummer, so I had 2 mixed drinks. The tonic was awesome. So many places have s#!t tonic so it was a nice change to get a good one. I also had a Red Bull and vodka which, in my experience, usually gets you the remainder of the Red Bull in a can in addition to your drink. Not here. Also, the "glasses" are TINY and not cheap, but it is NYC so that's not surprising.

It’s fun but sooooo disorganized. a lot smaller than I thought for $500+ a table PLUS tax and tip. The website did not state that an extra $300 would be added to my card for a bottle that they originally were about to charge me $450 for. this place is a hole in the wall and that’s fine but the price has to match. they accommodated us adding an extra person to our table which i appreciate but then confused us about what bottle was coming and i almost paid extra since they told me to go to the bar probably won’t get VIP again at this venue. no one is watching our stuff at the table and we’re seemingly the only ones who bought one. Bathroom is atrocious, definitely not worth the money we paid.

I’ve been here a couple of times; usually pretty chill but security is so rude and disrespectful. The place is always packed and they never say excuse me just pass by pushing and only announce they are security after hurting someone. So disappointing.

I liked the place. My only issue is that the bartender was touching the rim of my cup with her hands. She was so nice though so I don’t want to discredit her. I’m just funny about that. Definitely used a straw. Otherwise great place. Large venue clean bathrooms. Nice people!

Loud, grimey, it has an open air backyard so it's possible to get fresh air. Lots of random surfaces to lean against or sit on.

If you’re into inexcusably bad sound, poor mixing and 16 dollar modelo tall boys , this place will make you proud to be in Brooklyn. Feels more like a predatory lower east side venue of the 2000’s than something that opened up in the last two years.

In NYE 2023 Coat check person was totally irresponsible for letting anyone in the closet to pick their own stuff and of course there’s always one dishonest person who ended up stealing my coat. I reported to the manager, gave me his # and still no response from him. I will never come back to this venue.

Terríble experience. I went there for 2022-23 New Year’s Eve. Bar attendants were rude and awful. Two of the bartenders kept kissing each other instead of working. Never coming back for sure.

Pretty Good Venue to see a show at. Not too thrilled that some shows make bands sell tickets so the Venue can afford to pay a headliner and the bar has a minimum when you pay by credit card (just leave it open like most places do) but the sound is good, its spacious, they sell snacks too. Would good definitely go back.

If you want to dance to the same beat, then this place is for you. It repeatedly play the same beat, just electric music. Just a bop song and not really enjoyable to listen to all night.

Amazing club! Awesome sound, very clean! There's an outdoor area where you can have a smoke and drink. Holds like 600 people so I bet it can get crazy with the right music but today it's very chill. Bar prices very decent. Ambiance very down to earth, not pretentious. Great crowd. Highly recommended!

This place is awesome because they host the majority of modern metal bands in New York City. It’s an interesting environment where you go to see a hardcore band and get a push pit, or perhaps, go to a death metal show and get roundhouse kicked in the face ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ It’s a mixed bag in terms of sound quality. I’ve heard some awesome live mixes here, but I’ve also been to shows where vocals and lead guitars are completely drowned out by sub bass. The sound system seems to be really high quality, but every so often the mixes aren’t up to par.

Went to see THE Clinton Bailey perform here over the holidays. The atmosphere was perfect for the show going on that night and totally different from what it was the first time I was there. It’s quite a versatile venue with the ability to transform and tailor to events in totally different genres. It’s overall charm was not lost in the dark. Looking forward to coming back... maybe I’ll organize something of my own 👀

I went to see VRSTY and TMRW NVR Promised and it was a great show. Jackie is the person that was checking you in to the venue. She was courteous and answered all my questions. The 1 thing I did not like about this place was the fact that if their is no cook for that day you are not allowed to eat then come back.

Intimate venue with both food and drinks, mainly standing room but with some areas to sit and an outdoor area, and gets in many indie and under the radar artists

My nephew performed tonight( paidinfullkenny). The crowd was great. Some of the stars from love and hip hop was there performing also. This place is where the hip crowd goes. I would definitely recommend this place.

First time at this place and it was great. They let us in a little bit earlier because of the hot weather, and my wife is on a wheelchair. Nice space, audio sound was good. We had a great time. A big hello to Hakim, very nice host od the evening.

Loved it. Wish there were a 4.5 star. My only issue was the room temperature. Was on the warm side even with the a/c. Great space. Fun times. Clean bathrooms. Friendly staff. Oh, and the bar doesn't require a minimum to use a credit card. Yes!

The space is ok. I was charged 25% on my credit card. I’m guessing it’s the tip because they never asked me for a tip when paying with apple pay.

I've been to the meadows a couple of times and it has that homey environment, big concert sound, and it always feels like I'm coming back to visit and old friends. Regardless. It's flawed but I'll admit that it tries exceptionally hard to bring the guest that top notch experience. If you want to be in a place with great musical performances, dance, meet people. The staff is cool for the most part. The no reentry thing is a really irritating at times but people like Jackie make it hard for you to want to leave. The Meadows is probably where you have to check out a show. If you're looking for a place to be comfortable dining experience while listening to music. This ain't the place.

i’m 20 and they served me alcohol without checking ID or respond then the guy who kicked me out was very rude kept telling me I was lying and that didn’t happen and that someone else bought me the drink which wasn’t true. I shouldn’t have been kicked out because that’s not on me that’s on them for not checking.

Cool place but ya better put that bald bartender wit the tattoos in check. This venue does not allow any drinks inside. If someone ask for a cup of water politely he dosent have to be an A hole like how he usually is. Especially at hardcore events. People moshing and stuff like were gonna get thirsty bruh. Very unprofessional bartender. I've experienced him having an attitude many times.

The Meadows is like this premier location Brooklyn and you get treated so when you go there. I can't think about any other place in NYC that give you the feeling of a big arena show in a compact and warm intimate space where you can bond with other people over your love for music regardless of taste. And the staff is awesome! Jackie for example in a that premium vibe she acts as like this connoisseur or hostess of sorts always ready to make sure everyone in attendance feel welcomed. If there's a show you want to see here then by all means don't hesitate. GO!

If they serve Alcohol Bars are required by law to provide tap water free upon request. Nevertheless customers are still expected to tip there bartender for their service.
