We had a great time here. There were several different interactive areas, and tons of photo opportunities. The huge ball pit at the end was fun for both kids and adults. We bought tickets ahead of time which I would recommend. They let people in, in small groups, so it wasn't overly crowded, and the staff was great.

An absolute blast! My friends and I stopped by one evening after work, and really loved our time here. Fun rooms with activity and photo spots. You also can’t pass up on free treats along the way. The ball pit was also fun for all ages. I will definitely go back with my significant other sometime.

Arrived a little earlier than the scheduled time and was welcomed in without a problem nice friendly atmosphere photo opportunities in almost every room (digital copies included with your admission) each room was a vibrant display of colors and something neat to do. Drowned in the ball pit but it was worth it. Quick run about an hour to enjoy the whole thing would recommend it

I went alone but had a blast! I absolutely loved this place. It’s enjoyable both for adults and kids. The ticket price is a bit steep but I think it is well worth it as the rooms are well thought through (my absolute favorite was the silent disco) and guests are given sweet treats (the macaron conveyor belt is the cutest thing), which I are tasty and high-quality. There are cameras that take photos of you almost in every room which is a phenomenal idea that I’d never seen before anywhere else, and you get them in email for free after the visit. Staff was nice and helpful. Highly recommend this place!

Visiting the Color Factory in NYC was an absolute delight! My daughter had an amazing time, and seeing our out-of-state guests thoroughly enjoy themselves made our decision to choose this interactive art museum incredibly rewarding. The experience catered to all ages and was genuinely fun-filled. The customer service was exceptional, deserving not just 5 stars but 100 stars for their attentiveness and friendliness. The staff truly made our visit memorable. Every room and game offered a unique and enjoyable experience. From start to finish, we were captivated by the creativity and engaging activities throughout. It’s a must-visit for anyone seeking a joyful and immersive art adventure!

What a cool place! Much more of an interactive museum and reading but still fun! It’s interactive for mainly kids but it can be for adults as well! You get sweet treats along the way which is a plus. You can go at your own pace throughout the museum which was nice. All of the employees were so nice and friendly! I also loved how they had a camera system where they take photos for you in every room and send the pictures to your email for free. Felt like it was overpriced for what it offered though. I thought there was going to be more offered in the museum. It’s more small than you think and it can easily be completed in an hour to hour and thirty minutes. Overall, a fun time!

Tickets were roughly $44 and the experience lasts 1hr to 1hr30. I want to start by thanking the staff that day because we missed our timed entry but they still allowed us to come right in and get in line without difficulty. Their "telephone" number just tells you to go online so their helpfulness was so wonderful. The exhibit is wonderful for children but as a date for adults I think it is also very cute but definitely designed for the child. You go through different rooms, sometimes getting a snack, other times there's stuff to read or learn. Everything is always interactive which is very nice. A cool feature is their photo system which allows you to scan a card and have a photo taken of you to download later from an email. I really liked it because it kept people from clogging up areas trying to take a hundred photos. The highlight is the ball pit at the end, your children will not want to leave for an hour. As adults we had a great time with it and the timed entry helped keep it from getting too crowded. Overrall very nice and well curated. The staff were wonderfully friendly and there's enjoyment for adults as well as kids if you like fun colors and acting silly.

You're coming here more so for the photo ops than the experience. The spots for photos are all great and fun. You're given a card with a qr code to scan which allows you to have your picture taken from cameras stationed throughout. You're emailed a .zip file of all the pics that were taken by the end of your stay for free which is nice. The staff and experience could be much better. It is pretty crowded and you can't go backwards so make sure you take all the pics you want before you continue. It's the most crowded in the ball pit towards the end. There could be more cameras stationed there. The staff could do a much better job explaining the process for each room you go into. I missed a few cameras in some of the rooms I went into. It's also very loud so it's hard to hear staff. I think some signs/speakers could be implemented for a more enjoyable experience.

This was a fun experience museum...good for kids of all ages...even us older ones! There are a nice array of exhibit experiences that are each quite different from one another and all 5 senses are tickled. The museum has a thing where you scan your qr code in each room and you get your photo taken then they email you everything for free. This is such a great feature. There are also a few tasty treats throughout the museum to make moving through fun for everyone. I HIGHLY recommend going here early. We did 9:30 am and didnt bump too many times with people. We had lots of times to have fun with the photos and play in each room. There is a free coat check...helpful! Definitely leave your coat, you want to be unencombered for photos. And for color blind folks...there are glasses you can borrow that will allow you to see the colors. Its an expensive experience but it was fun.

I was searching things to do as a family in NYC and spotted this attraction. I was very excited to go, especially seeing all the reviews and pictures online. The whole family had a blast. Every room was very interactive and entertaining. Certain rooms are more fun then others, but they are all super creative. The ball pit was definitely the kids favorite. I would definitely go back if ever in NYC or another city that has the color factory available.

Not worth the price tag but if there's a way you can go for free or get a discount it's definitely worth it. You're mainly going for the pictures. It's not AS interactive as one would hope. The only place where you can really spend a lot of time is the ball pit which ends up crowded with kids any way. My high rating is primarily because the pictures they took came out fantastic and the free snacks made up for the lack of interactivity. I feel like it would be cool if they had more information on... Colors. There's really only 1-2 rooms where you learn about colors, one of which is kinda boring and not well lit. The room with the color wheels was probably the best for photos. Personally, the ticket price isn't worth the trip. But, it makes sense considering how much effort goes into making each room. If you go with a group of at least 3 people it's a lot more fun because you have more of a reason to spend more time in each room. Definitely more of a picture place than I expected. The macarons slap.

A great place for a date! The ticket prices were expensive at around $45 per person, but the experience was great. You can get some snacks / candies / ice cream throughout the experience. There was an area for some guided drawing, lots of photo ops, and even different things to smell. The ball pit was definitely our favourite part. I loved the QR codes you get at the beginning to scan at the self-timer camera booths because you can get your pictures in your email after you’re done. The gift shop had a lot of unique items like the “shape stamps”. I thought the shape stamps were super cute and greats for kids and adults alike

I love this place. I came here with someone I was dating and needless to say it brought us closer and now we're in a relationship! Each room is unique and changes depending on the seasons. Literally fun from the moment you walk in until you leave. 10/10 I recommend. Bring a date, your kids, friends & family.

First thing I Liked about the place was the complementary coat check they provided to all guest. Only posted a few pictures don’t wanna spoil it for other who are interested in going. To begin you pick up a little bar code card to scan and register your email. Some of the rooms have scanners so you can take pictures in front of their camera setup in room. The photos are automatically uploaded to the unique bar code of yours and sent to your email for you to Save or print out. Each room has it own little interactive experience. Take your time down rush through it. Some rooms have a snack or a souvenir for you to take with you. My daughters favorite rooms were the confetti room, headphones room, and of Course the ball pit room. The ball pit room is the center of attraction and gets crowded pretty fast. Overall good place to make memories with friends, family or couples. Most of the staff is friendly and greets you respectfully. In the ball pit room there is a slide you can go down. There are not rules posted about how to go down a slide. It sounds crazy right?!?! Rules to go down a slide! Staff yells at you saying can’t go down head first or only one person at a time. I think staff should be proactive and let guest know as they approach the slide on what is allowed instead of yelling at children or Adults. Color Factory Thank you for the experience. Hope different interactive rooms are added in the future.

This was the most fun I've had in a while during an interactive experience. There were treats along the way, colors galore, and fun photo stations. Grab your best friends get a ticket and don't miss out on this experience! Between the confetti room, the music room, and the silent disco... It's fun for everyone.

What a great experience! The black v white room only allows a few people in at a time so it caused a line to form at the smell of NYC exhibit. That was tough for the kids but other than that it was a memorable experience. The treats are really good and the ball pit was fun for all ages!

It's a really cool place to explore and take pictures. You get snacks in every room. You can either go alone or with friends. They have those wall cameras. The pics came out great. I'm glad that I went and I would totally recommended it. In the end, you get a gift and ice cream.

Customer service was amazing. It was expensive and yes you do have to book in advance . They give you free goodies throughout the walkthrough & free photo op stations. I was definitely captivated by the experience each room gave us . I loved all the station rooms where you had a camera ready to take pictures for you. Perfect night for everyone including going alone. I love how it changes throughout the seasons because it’s definitely worth coming over & over again. Our favorite was the disco silent party 🎉 .

This is a very fun place. I expected less and it turned out to be an entertaining experience on a Tuesday evening. Lots of opportunities for pictures and selfies. As a solo traveler, I had some cool shots taken by the cameras set up in different places. Also you can expect treats, various scents, and a decent amount of information behind each installation. 0 crowd on a weekday.

This is such a fun place to be if you have kids or want to be one for a while :) Lots of stuff to do, physical activities, interactions with colors and blocks of different kinds and the sweet treats at every juncture. The only thing I miss was an activity with actual colours. That would have been even more fun. But great staff, fun place to be!

I thought this place was overhyped when we made our reservation but I was wrong. This is a super fun place for a science nerd like me and it was just like extremely fun and colorful and you get so much free stuff like gelato and mochi ice cream and a souvenir that it just feels super worth for the entrance fee. The staff seem to have fun as well and the ball pit is great (sanitized too). The best part are the free high quality photos really and I have so many I want to keep!

Took a trip to NYC for my birthday and got tickets. Wait was a little long but they gave out free mochi ice cream to everyone to make up for it. The actual museum was amazing. Each room was its own unique immersive experience. Would highly recommend making this a spot on your list when visiting the big apple.

I went a few months ago around new year. This place was so nice. Did not take as long as it said. My only issues was the whole" go at your own pace thing" because we were taking out time but we have a family (only of 5) taking forever to get through to the next room and it made us not have as much fun as they hogged thr room so we couldn't get photos. We a really nice place overall.

Great place to take kids or even go for a date. There were various cute activities in different rooms that you walk through. The ball pit is the best for insta worthy pics but there were a few others that offered a fun surprise. I especially enjoyed the activity where you listen to instructions for drawing while looking thorough a glass panel at whoever you came in to the exhibit with. The option to also pick a keepsake from an assortment of choices was fun as well.

If you’re looking for a unique date idea or kids activity, this is a good place! It’s very fun and interactive, but only really worth it if you have kids. My friend and I went and had a good time, but felt a little underwhelmed as some of the rooms felt very geared towards kids only. There were snacks throughout though!

Amazing!!!! Love that you can go at your own pace and the staff was so friendly. Not cheap, but definitely worth the price. All of your photos emailed to you?! Yes, please! You will leave in a happier mood. Is it the treats? Is it the colorful experiences? Is it the fun gift shop at the end? Did I mention the photos are emailed to you?! Whatever it is, this place feels very unique, fun and special. There is something for everyone!

I love this place. I came out so happy, the colors are used so well and you interact with each room. Great little treats, like a relaxing Willy Wonka of Uptown. Highly recommend this place. The ball room at the end is so fun. Throughout each room you get photos taken, then they email you the reel for free. So fun. Go to this!

This place in New York is magical! @colorfactoryco is a mind blowing arts and visual exhibit and we got a chance to experience it on the weekend. Would you like to visit here? It has multiple rooms which are art projects by many big artists and each one is different with its unique colorful activities

We had so much fun in this place. We all wore black and brought an extra shirt to change colors for taking pictures. The colors are really bright and I think it makes you happy. Most enjoyed the dance floor. The music is so danceable and the disco lights are awesome. The new york room was great too. The color changes that changed the whole room and background were amazing!

Returning to the Color Factory for a second visit with my cousins was an absolute delight. The vibrant atmosphere, creative exhibits, and interactive installations continue to impress, making it a memorable experience for both adults and children alike. Each room offered something new and exciting to explore, from the immersive light displays to the whimsical ball pit. The attention to detail in every exhibit was evident, showcasing the passion and creativity of the artists behind them. My cousins particularly enjoyed the interactive elements, from creating their own artwork to experimenting with different textures and materials. The staff were friendly and helpful, adding to the overall positive atmosphere of the Color Factory. Overall, my second visit to the Color Factory was just as enjoyable as the first, if not more so. It's a must-visit destination for anyone looking to immerse themselves in a world of color and creativity. We left feeling inspired and uplifted, already looking forward to our next visit.

Fun experience but pretty expensive at $40 a pop. I will admit though, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I thought it was just some museum where you take a bunch of photos with colorful backdrops that are “instagram worthy”. But it wasn’t really like that. We were a group of four adults and three kids and we all loved the experience. It was an interactive experience, and that’s why we enjoyed it so much l. I don’t want to give away anything specific but there are several rooms you can enter and they give you some treats along the way. The rooms go one way and you can’t go back (kinda like mini golf) so if there is a group behind you, you’ll have to be mindful of that. I don’t know how crowded it gets but we pre-booked tickets for a Thursday at 2:45. It wasn’t too bad. Some of the more popular rooms did get a bit crowded at some points but overall, we didn’t feel rushed. I probably wouldn’t recommend a weekend. Nice experience if you are looking for an activity to take someone from out of town - which is what we were doing. Otherwise, I probably would have skipped it.

Very fun and interactive place for all ages. Very organized when you go through. I loved the activities. They give little treats on the way as you do the activities. We took fun pictures with their unique photo setups. Fun! Highly recommend!

Went today as part of a trip for a summer program. Was so fun and interactive, definitely want to come here with friends and it’s perfect for a date too. The treats and candy make it even more better! It’s also very instagrammable. It’s not just about color but smells, dancing, and more.

  • 5/5 Chloe F. 6 months ago on Google
We did this as a last minute activity and were so excited about it the minute it started! Each experience is unique and well thought out. The options to get your photos taken at each spot is really clever and eliminates the awkward moment of asking someone to take a photo for you. There are many treats along the way. The full price is well worth it, but maybe look for a promo code if planning on going. The photos you get after your experience are so cute! Fun for adults, as well as for kids.

  • 5/5 Princess D. 8 months ago on Google
This place is absolutely wonderful but I recommend looking for a promo code before buying your tickets. If you love pictures but don’t like asking people to take them for you this place gives you a QR card to assign your email to and in each room you scan the QR card and there’s a camera that will take the pictures for you and email them to you for free. While here you also get a variety of sweets to try which is really cool. I highly recommend going here since it’s fun for all ages and give you cool pictures for your Instagram if you’re into that.

  • 5/5 Eliana B. 8 months ago on Google
I loved everything about color factory, the cute take giveaways (collapsible cup, stickers, etc), the little sweet treats throughout the exhibit and most importantly the interactive installments. The color factory is fun for children and adults alike. My favorite was the ball pit! I thought it was way deeper than it looked but I still found myself lost in it! A great way to tap into that inner child of yours. There were cute designated photo areas and an opportunity to purchase those photos at the end of your experience. I had a great time, but it’s not something I would do again without the kids. It’s perfect for them to experience over and over again.

  • 4/5 Rebecca R. 1 year ago on Google
Fun way to immerse yourself in colors... Each room had different activities. Colorful sweet snacks were offered along the way. My kids had a lot of fun here. We made a day of The Museum of Ice Cream, followed by The Color Factory, followed by Artechhouse - all near each other. The ball pit at the end was definitely the best, most fun part of Color Factory.

Such a great place to go and take creative photos! Perfect to take kids or to go on a date! They have coat check and area to leave bags so you’re not carrying so much. It’s a bit shorter then I wish it had been but every part of the museum was really entertaining!
