WonderWorld
NYC,
a
whimsical
immersive
exhibit
based
out
in
Williamsburg,
Brooklyn
brings
you
into
the
world
of
Alice
in
Wonderland.
The
installations
are
all
uniquely
set
up
in
the
senseless
wonder
of
pastels,
flowers,
mushrooms
to
name
a
few.
Each
room
is
an
Instagram
worthy
picture
begging
to
be
taken
for
the
avid
Instagrammer
or
in
my
case
the
Instagramless.
Our
journey
down
rabbit
holes
begins
with
a
room
that
is
sparsely
laid
out
with
neon
lights
in
a
cool
tone.
Passing
through
you
come
into
a
darkly
lit
room
full
of
white
blow
up
beach
balls
ready
for
the
kicking.
Walking
pass
the
WonderWorld
sign
on
our
way
to
the
white
pillars
of
Athens
against
a
pink
backdrop!
Straight
ahead
we
are
greeted
by
the
popular
crescent
moon
installation
amongst
a
field
of
flower
arrangements
in
all
its
pastel
glory.
To
the
right
we
come
upon
room
exuding
007
in
Monaco
vibe.
The
next
room
is
decked
out
with
a
blue
hue
lit
up
platform
with
a
row
of
payphones-
throwback!
Continuing
on
our
inner
child
is
delighted
with
a
quick
play
in
the
igloo
ball
pit.
Afterwards
we
come
into
the
forest
green
room
accompanied
by
a
soirée
of
mushrooms.
Next
we
are
led
into
a
garden
setup
with
the
apple
tree
starring
front
and
center.
Making
our
exit
we
pass
the
last
and
final
room
showcasing
lovely
giant
apples.
At
the
end
of
our
journey
we
find
ourselves
at
the
WonderWorld
gift
shop
where
we
can
purchase
a
cute
token
of
our
visit.
I
went
for
apple
embroidery
pink
hat.
Overall
the
exhibit
was
a
fun
way
to
spend
the
afternoon.
It
can
get
quite
hot
for
those
with
a
low
heat
threshold.
If
you
are
looking
for
Kusama
quality-this
is
not
the
exhibit
for
you.
It's
a
bit
rough
around
the
edges.
The
rooms
installations
are
simple,
not
overly
complicated.
Though
it
was
fine
as
my
experience
was
enjoyable,
and
hope
for
those
who
were
inspired
to
go
after
reading
my
review
it
will
be
the
same
for
you.
