There are so many wonderful things to say about this place, I don't know where to begin! First of all the staff is incredible. They are so warm, friendly, and hospitable, they make you feel like you're eating at a relative's house. The food is indescribable. I had to double check and make sure the food was vegan because the meatball sliders were out of this world. The veggie tacos were well seasoned and had a creamy, slightly sweet sauce that tied everything together. The mushroom sliders were not only delicious but hearty and filling as well. My mostly meat eating brother-in-law was so impressed with his spicy bowl he commented that he would try being vegan if he could "eat this well every day." We also ordered all the fries (yucca, yam, and plantain) and loved the chipotle avocado sauce that came with them. The meal ended with a moist chocolate cake with a frosting that was light, fluffy, and perfectly sweet (in other words not too sweet). The only downside was that I couldn't order more because I was stuffed. We will definitely be going there again. I am so glad we found this place!

I come here every Saturday to treat my self to the Greedi Green, super light and yummy. The chef and staff are great and friendly so thatโ€™s a plus. Whatโ€™s a great way to start a day :)

Trop delicieux ๐Ÿ˜ Being vegan only gets better with Greedi Vegan. This place is cozy and the people there are super nice. The owner Laeticia has such a vibrant energy that is so inviting. We had the crispy cauli bites, soul bowl, the sliders and the forest cake. Everything was made fresh. We're definitely coming back. Thank you for providing the neighborhood with amazing vegan food ๐Ÿ™

The food was pretty good, my non-vegan friend really enjoyed the food. The friendliness, vibe, coziness of the space was what truly made it a 5/5! The owner is absolutely lovely, and so are the rest of the staff. Really tiny but feels like youโ€™re with family.

How can such a teensy spot whip up vegan food with flavor this big!? We visited from Cincinnati, our first stop in Brooklyn. I was set back by how small it was but three of us sat comfortably at the counter. Honest guidance from the staff directed us to some great choices. If you like traditional soul food, the Soul Bowl wonโ€™t disappoint packed with old and new flavors. And how can you fry up oyster mushrooms and make the best Poโ€™ boy north of Wachahatchie? Must I go to a vegan spot to have great chips (aka steak fries)? Yes. Friendly and welcoming yes...willing to spill the beans on what was in the kale...nope!

Really good food for the price, good size portions. Had the sliders and the nachos, excellent! Just wish the nachos had more cheese on them, the bottom 50% of the chips were dry but the ingredients were on point, hella delicious. Love the people and the atmosphere. Will be back.

Cute and cozy! I ordered the soul bowl and it did not disappoint. The entire bowl was gluten free and my favorite part was the Mac & Cheese. Brisa and Shenari were working and so lovely to talk to. I could tell that they put care into every interaction and task at hand. The music was great and even though the restaurant is super small, it didnโ€™t feel claustrophobic. Iโ€™ll definitely be back!

Okay, so can we talk about this place!?!?! I absolutely loovvee Greedi Vegan! Unfortunately I only took a photo of one thing that I bought; but I have tried a plethora of their menu and it NEVER disappoints! The staff is very helpful (especially if it's your first time) with navigating the menu and choosing the food items that call to your soul. They also have a very warming environment there where even the customers welcomes each customer with open arms. Their desserts are finger licking good, and the serving sizes are definitely more than enough (for anyone that is curious)...and the pricing is perfect. I would definitely recommend their soul bowl๐Ÿฅฐ and their nacho fries (as pictured). A must go-to whenever I am in the neighborhood!

Great take out spot. Plenty of options. The food was very flavorful. The quaint space has a warm and welcoming ambiance. The music selection set the vibe. The friendly staff was accommodating to our rushed schedule. The service was timely as they served many patrons within a half hour, effortlessly. We had the burger and fish sandwich, both with fresh made fries. We also had the lemon cake and sweet potato cheesecake. The hibiscus tea was refreshing. We definitely recommend checking out this spot, both local and those traveling through.

Stumbled upon this gem on a girls trip to Brooklyn! The staff was lovely, and the food was on point. We ordered the tofu scramble & avocado toast, the sausage tofu scramble sandwich, and the grits and vegan beef gravy. Everything was so flavorful, we couldnโ€™t stop picking off one anotherโ€™s plates! Open kitchen, home-style cooking, outdoor seating, friendly conversation...definitely will return!

The food was so good I didn't take a picture! The owner sat our party with mostly kids and feed us so well! She asked the kids name and engaged with them and was accommodating with the menu. LOVED this place!

Is it the food or is it Latisha's positive energy that makes everyone in Greedi Vegan feel happy? Trick question- it's both! I wandered in off the street and within 3 minutes I felt like I was hanging out at an old friend's kitchen counter. Thanks again for turning my night into a memorable one!

**UPDATE** 8/05/18 Latisha (the owner) responded to my feedback and offered to personally deliver me food or have me come back in for a meal on her to make up for my original experience. I decided to take her up on the offer to come back to the restaurant. My friend and I came in today around 1:00pm for the weekend brunch. They were packed and very busy and running low/out of certain items but Latisha made sure she took care of us. We wanted 2 orders of French Toast but they only had enough left for one, so we ordered French toast, Pancakes Berries N Coco Cream and a Soy Sausage Tofu Scramble & Cheese Platter. Initially we ordered it to go since there was no space and they were so slammed, but eventually while we were waiting, seats at the bar opened up and we decided to dine in since half of our food had been ready and packaged for awhile, but the pancakes were taking longer to be made. The French Toast was DELICIOUS. The syrup had almost a burbon flavor to it, along with the strawberries & blueberries and the coco cream was amazing. The bread itself was a little thin but tasted great! The pancakes were also tasty, but they were basically the same as the french toast (same toppings). The Sausage Tofu Scramble was ok... not the greatest, but I did enjoy the sausage. We were also missing the avocado toast with it, but they were so slammed and we had been there for awhile, so I didn't want to wait for it. Latisha was bright and cheery and made conversation with us throughout or time in the space. She was clearly working very hard to keep things running smoothly and make sure all the orders were on point. I truly appreciated her commitment to making sure my friend and I felt welcomed and appreciated as a customers. I feel like if there was maybe at least one more staff member working at Latisha's commitment level to the food and customer experience that this place would be absolutely INCREDIBLE. I know they're still a brand new establishment and working out some kinks, but I hope it continues to grow and elevate with dedicated employees. But I am super thankful for Latisha's personal commitment to her customers. Thank you for making things right for us!

Happened to find this spot today and everything was amazing! The staff at the window was so friendly & kind. I had the soul bowl with oyster mushrooms, mac and cheese, kale, and sweet potatoes. Food came out quick and even after carrying it back to Manhattan it was all excellent. Fried mushrooms were still crispy, sweet potatoes were really flavorful.

I am so glad I found this place!!! Even though they are a bit pricey, the food is amazing! They have amazing customer service! Their fries are all hand cut and you can even see them doing it from the pickup window. Their Mac and goodness is oh my goodness! It is soooo good that itโ€™s hard to believe there is no actual dairy in there! My only complaint about it would be the price. I paid $7 for a small side order and donโ€™t believe that I got enough for what I paid for. Their kale is super delicious with a mildly sweet undertone that keeps you coming for more! Their Jerk chicken wasnโ€™t all that jerk-y and definitely could have used more of the Caribbean spices.

I love greedi vegan! I moved from NY, but EVERY TIME I come home, I have to stop at Greedi Vegan. This black owned establishment has some of the best vegan dishes I have ever tasted. i like to try new things when I come home (every month), but my favorite is the jerk bowl!

I called at 7pm and no one answered the phone, drove 15 minutes to get there. As soon as I walk in two women behind the counter gave me a dirty look and asked if I was picking up...to which i answered no...so they both ignored me and kept cleaning. I stood there with my partner waiting for some type of customer service....t ok which we got none! Everything was packed up and all the stools were on top of the table. So we left. I understand it's almost closing time but its still 30 minutes till....at least offer us what ever you have available or say hey we are almost closing but I can offer you the following....something jeez...horrible service...first and last time. Zero star rating!

I had heard great reviews of the French Toast (FT) and was excited to try it, which I finally got to do today. It definitely has potential but unfortunately, the FT was burnt in quite a few places. Disappointing for sure. The vibe at the place was not friendly or welcoming. Perhaps the two women working were having a bad day. I wonder if that vibe is what contributed to the burnt FT.

DISTASTEFUL. This spot is no longer here.๐Ÿค”.90%of the invisible menu? FRIED! How you a vegan spot but everything fried. SMDH... Boney girl = "fried in Grape seed oil." ๐Ÿ˜‚... I highly doubt that. ๐Ÿ’ฒ๐Ÿ’ฒ๐Ÿ’ฒAll that cash for grape seed oil to fry a mushroom? No wonder they can't afford a menu or sign. Time wasted Rude energy/Eve dropping /Convo interruption from staff. Distasteful!

SO DELICIOUS! I have Celiac's disease and they had multiple amazingly good options for me when catering my workplace. The breaded (gluten free) mushroom dish is a must-try. This location is no longer open, but there are other locations!

The good here is delicious and so very flavorful! Me and my friends got 3 dishes and shared and my favorite was the crab cake. I'm not vegan myself so I don't have too much meat-alternative experience to compare it to but I can say everything was delicious!!
