This place is so tough to find and surrounded by some very established coffeee shops, but because of that its a extremely laid back and quiet place especially during the day. Youll never have trouble trying to get work done on a weekend because there will be wifi and an open seat :) oh and they stock Superlost coffee which is a huge perk.

Came for a quick weekend trip and stumbled upon this gem. Staff was super warm, inviting, and knowledgeable. My husband and I sat at the bar and got to watch the chef make our pasta in house to order. Definitely one of our favorite places we ate while on our foodie vacation. Honestly, one of the best plates of pasta I’ve ever had! I would recommend anyone who reads this to stop what there doing and go get a glass of wine and pasta dish from here.

Cute little cafe with original art on the walls and a small seating area. The staff was very friendly. Also, I probably ate one of the best sandwiches I've ever had in my life here. The roasted kale added so much flavour and the bread was toasted to perfection. Also the egg was the right amount of crispy and runny. I've told a lot of people about this sandwich and I'm sad I don't live in Brooklyn so that I can have it again and again.

Love them because the staff is great, the space is beautiful and the food is tasty. They have several outlets and free WiFi. My food faves are savory oats and the avocado toast on sweet potato. Bonus points for composting and having eco friendly to go things.

Beautiful coffee shop and wine bar with high end coffee and an amazing wine list full of unique natural wines. They offer light bites like salads, sandwiches, smoothies and pastries. The atmosphere is unique, very cool, clean feel with lots of plants and great lighting.

Wonderful staff, and spectacular food and smoothies. I’m not a huge coffee person, but they had a great selection of quality coffees, in addition to an awesome menu of healthy, real foods. Environment is very trendy-chic and comfortable.

Had been waiting for this place to open (the last time I was in NYC they were still in build out mode); finally got to NYC after they opened to check it out with family members living in the area. The place is super cool with a great vibe. The guy taking our orders was happy to explain the menu and make great suggestions. We all got something different and every bite was delicious! I didn't order coffee but heard my son say is was the best coffee he'd had in NYC. My fresh mint tea was a perfect topper for a great lunch. I hope this place is around for a long time because I imagine it will keep getting even better.

Stopped for a quick bite and was surprised by the quality of the food served. Easygoing and readily enjoyable. Avocado toast much more intense than the ample competition; Tomato/Robiola focaccia and Oyster mushroom/Goat cheese sandwich delicious and satisfying. Will return when scouting the area.

This is my second time in demi monde. The first time a couple of months ago, we were a party of three. We ordered the savory oats topped with baked sweet potatoes, greens, mushrooms and a perfectly poached egg, it was surprising in its successful complexity.... The Avocado toast had good amount of avocado wasabi flavored, on a thick wonderful whole grain bread, toasted just enough to the desirable crunch. The result was pure satisfaction. The baked eggs served with tomatoes, herbs and chille guero were delicious. Everything was beautifully colored with freshly chopped fruits or vegetables and condiments. This time we where 4. We added the egg and tomato sandwich with a sriracha mayo in a focaccia bread, the balance was just perfect. The egg and kale sandwich in whole grain bread suited the earthy flavor of the sauted shiitake mushrooms. Again everything fresh and creatively presented. What a treat! All that in a nice atmosphere. Oh and I almost forgot the agreeable staff. I was told they just started to serve tapas and wine in the evenings, I can't wait to try them when I'm around Bushwick again.
