This bar takes you back to the 80s-90s. Not sure how long they would survive as the new generation don't really appreciate the arcades. But I would do anything to keep this place running forever. The collection of beer is great. I love Brooklyn!

What a fun place. My wife and I (gen X…) arrived and we were carded at the door. We had a laugh with the guy, since we’re a couple grey haired 50 year-olds getting ID’d. We had a beer from an awesome selection. There are token machines to get your bills into tokens, and then we played video games. Galaga, Donkey Kong, PAC Man and others. We had a blast. Chill vibe, great staff, and the best video games. Highly recommend!

This place brings me back to my childhood. It has an awesome 80s vibe complete with old school arcades such as Mortal Kombat, Pac-man and Centipede, etc. The pinball games were super cool. It's an awesome place to catch up with friends if you want to have some drinks and some fun. Keep in mind that this bar doesn't serve food, but does have small snacks in a bag you can purchase at the bar. Their drinks kicks a punch though with a friendly bartender. Definitely will return to this place for more vintage fun!!! who says old school can't be trendy!!!!???🙃😜

The people here are great, the games are old-school and fun. I lost my phone and someone returned it to me when they noticed I was looking for it! Was so grateful. Good crowd of people, I'll be back

Love the idea of a bar and arcade. Games are varied and cost 50 cents to play most of them. Only reason the place is not higher for me is that the beer selection just wasn’t it for me. Great concept though

Great staff, large variety of beer on tap, good variety of liquor. Awesome variety of games, especially pool tables. It got crowded, but there were still open machines.

I've been coming here for at least 15 years, but when we went for my friend's birthday the other night, it was a disgrace. My friend had a soda in his pocket that we got from the nearest market, he opened it (as he doesn't drink beer) and was swarmed by a rude powertripping security guard/bouncer (to my knowledge was new), who proceeded to throw us both out, no warning or anything. Like, I can understand if he asked us to throw the drink out and let us be on our way, but no, he just threw us out without even bothering to hear us out. But this is how you treat paying customers, who have spent untold amounts of $$ on drinks and games through the years?

It’s a great place to spend time with friends. They have bunch of games like other barcade locations but they also have Gundam game unlike others. It was very fun and i’d love to visit again soon🍻

Had such a blast catching up with old friends here. Even though my friends were never big gamers, we all had a great time going around playing each game and sipping some tasty brews

$9 - 15 drinks! I'm a fan of their Long Island Iced Tea, it may be for college students but the Barcade atmosphere welcomes the kid within. It's more spacious than its Manhattan counterpart but the selection does feel slightly less exciting. The crowd is early 20s to early 30s so lots of good energy! You convert your cash into tokens for the games and they have a good selection of multiplayer and single player games. I would recommend this as worth checking out

The bartenders here are super nice but they should know the beer menu better. Beer was flat and tasted moldy, good thing I wasn't there for the beer. Still gave 5-stars because we had a great time!

Such a great concept. They have very good Craft Beers and the arcades were really cool. You can get 4 coins for 1$ to play.

Barcade is always a great time. Great selection of games. They have Crazy Taxi there which I'm not gonna lie, almost made me cry because I grew up on that game. The pinball machines are great, I wish they didn't cost 3 tokens though. They have ATMs there to pull out cash to exchange into tokens. The drinks are great and reasonably priced. Great place to hang out and play some games

Kool place for Games and drinks. They had light snacks chips jerky nuts. I was told you can Order food to sit and eat or bring your own food. Beers on tap were great. They have liquor aswell. My husband loved the games I would try the other location where food is available next time. Games take tokens that you get at the machine. But just for fun coming here is LIT

Our friends outside had forgotten their ID and couldn’t get in, so my friend went outside to see them for a quick second at the front door. No one told us there were no drinks allowed and the bouncer even thought it was unfair when they rudely threw her out with no pretense.

First time visiting after hearing about this place for years. Tried the sweetest cider they had. The music wasn’t all that. The coolest part about it was the games they had scattered around like Pac-Man & Street Fighter. A calm vibe for the night.

I live in Hoboken and am geographically much closer to the Jersey City Location. The two times I've been there the music has been insanely loud, to the point where you cant even concentrate on the games. It totally defeats the point. The majority of your loyal clientele are likely Neurodivergent. To be blasting the music to that extent, is just a slap in the face to the people who support you the most. However, my friend and I recently went to the Brooklyn location and were so thankful the music was at an appropriate level !! The staff was also so nice and approachable. Definitely a more accessible and fun experience. This is the best location. One of the best bars in NYC !! Would be EVEN BETTER if you had seltzer <3 <3

It’s a nice concept. I had some fun playing the games. One of the bartenders seemed to be ignoring my group at the bar. Beer was good.

Often Loud. Very loud. Frequently there can be only 4 or 5 customers on a weekday 4pm or sat afternoon, and music can be so loud you cant talk without shouting. Bartenders don't know and/or dont care since their ears are probably blown. I understand loudness at night / crowded times - but does it need to be like this all the time? The good its: Games all work - 100%. Never lost a quarter. A rarity for this kind of place. Beer selection is also quite good.

Fantastic location for casual and more serious gamers! And of all Barcade locations in NYC, this is the best one for pinball enthusiasts!

Lol, terrible guy at the front today. We only wanted to look around wasn’t aiming to play anything or buy any drinks, was told we can look around by somebody outside the door smoking a cigarette and the way the guy even announced himself from behind the bar and asking multiple questions at once with super loud music when all I wanted to do was see the games they had? Felt real.. off to me. I’m good off this location lol

If you're a beer lover, this spot is for you. They are the Baskin Robbins of beer! No kitchen. Therefore, no food is served here. Which was a downer for me. Only snacks, such as chips and pretzels. Old school and retro arcade games galore, including a variety of pinball machines. Good vibes, friendly staff, and customers were out to have a good time.

We came here after brunch & it was pretty low key, wish they had a bit more games for my liking. But the atmosphere is dope. Drinks are definitely strong, can't go wrong w/that at all! Definitely check it out if you're around that way

LOVE 👏🏻 THIS 👏🏻 PLACE 👏🏻 Barcade is a straight up iconic institution. I’ve been going to this location for over 6 years and Barcade (Williamsburg) has a fantastic layout with the most lovely staff. The bartenders are always helpful and fast, and the game selection is to die for. It’s crowded on Friday & Saturday nights, but rightfully so for creating a space that provides such a wonderful outing.

Awesome verity of drinks and games. All your classics are here especially street fighters turbo. The drinks are to die for. The springsdale spritz with its fruity taste and the Victory Berry Monkey with its delicious sour taste make the night. Bar tenders are awesome and gave good recommendations will come again
