What a great place! It was a lot of fun to go and play shuffleboard. It was nice that they give you a little lesson at the beginning. They had a food truck parked inside, and a full bar. There was also a DJ, but not too loud so you could still talk. I found the $50 price tag for 1 hour a bit steep but it was still worth it. I went on a weeknight so it was not crowded. I would check before you go to make sure there is no league going on at the time. Overall a great evening and would be a good date.

This is an absolutely fun and unique venue! I was invited for a post wedding party, and we had a blast learning the game with the staff. Once we got the hang of it, we had tons of fun right up to the last second. Highly recommend

Every day I'm shufflin'! If you have a fun group on hand and want to do something different for a change, head on over to The Royal Palms! It's very spacious, the staff is welcoming, and the bar and snack section are legit! As you wait for your lane to become available (they give you a buzzer), grab a cocktail and/or sandwich and play some connect four! The Royal Palms encourages walk-ins and, although the wait lasted an hour (it's okay, they told us that in advance), the time flew by! Finally, they had a DJ playing some fantastic music (80s new wave) which I'm a big fan of. Will definitely return!

Went with some friends on the weekend and it was a lot of fun. First time playing shuffleboard but certainly not my last! Just started getting the hang of it toward the end but it was fun the whole time. Good drinks too! Especially the velvet cocktail 😋💜

Fun game night or just hangout bar/restaurant. Plus point: it is not too crowded even on weekend. Definitely a good way to party and still doing social distance They serve good and strong cocktails. We love the Muy Thai and frozen pinacolada. The music is upbeat and cool. Definitely it is more fun in the summer This weekend they have Ethiopian food truck The food is very delicious especially the lentil soup and stew chicken

Very fun spot! Reasonably affordable at $50 for a lane. Shuffleboard is easy to pick up but difficult to master, making it the perfect casual friend / date activity. The staff couldn't be nicer also!

So much fun and quite beautiful. You walk in and it’s a huge warehouse kind of place with about 8 floor shuffle boards. They also have huge Connect 4 games in the middle. There’s a bar AND a Korean “food truck.” The whole place had a Florida vibe (apparently shuffle board a Florida game). They did a beautiful job with the decor, especially the bathrooms (they’re flamingo themed)! Before playing shuffle board, we had a tutoring session. Shout out to Myron! He stuck around if we had questions and cheered us on! The rest of the staff was really nice and welcoming. My friends tried the Korean food, I had a bite of glass noodles bulgogi, thumbs up from me. Great spot for bigger groups for sure. Might do a birthday here. Apparently it gets packed on the weekends. And the night we were there was the night of a shuffle board league game, so we came early and got to play. So I would call and ask if anything specific is going on!

Who knew shuffleboard was for more than just the top deck of a cruise ship?! On top of the shuffleboard, The Royal Palms Shuffleboard Club has multiple bars, tons of other fun games like Mega Connect 4, and a live DJ on most nights. This place is TRULY a party. Plus, they make the cocktails super strong, so don’t be surprised if you end up stumbling out at the end of the night. While there can be a bit of a wait to get onto the shuffleboard courts, there is plenty to do to keep you busy and entertained. Plus, there’s food! It’s everything you need for a hell of a time in NYC. Typical Age Group: You’ll certainly find a bit younger crowd, with most of the patrons ranging from early 20’s to mid 30’s. Cost: An hour on a shuffleboard court is $50, but if you have a few people that’s not too bad of a price. Drink prices are on the lower-mid side, with beers starting at $6 and cocktails coming in at $14.

Very trendy place. Looks like a warehouse from outside but when you step in its absolutely amazing. This was my first visit as my company rented a few booths and paid for unlimited drinks and food. I love the drinks and the food was spicy and delicious (fast food - dumplings, loaded fries, sandwiches, etc).

Such a fun and unique environment. The courts are huge and well-maintained. The music is usually great and the staff is super friendly. Cant recommend this Brooklyn mainstay more!

So much fun! We had never played before and it was quick to pick up. Their signature cocktails were good and the staff was very friendly and down to earth.

A cool and fun place to kickoff a night in Brooklyn. I’ve been here twice before and always have a great time! The staff members are very nice and help explain how to play shuffleboard correctly. This place will get crowded in a second so definitely plan it out in advance with friends.

This past weekend we had a small celebration for our friends that had just gotten married. Prior to our cabana rental and open drinks at the Royal Palms, myself and some friends went to the venue beforehand to make a balloon arch as a surprise for the bride and groom. We were greeted by the most welcoming staff ever! Nick, was absolutely wonderful and tended to us whenever we had a question or needed something - he was truly amazing. Our server for the evening, Steven was also fantastic. There were other wait staff that also tended to our party and the bartenders (Dom and another I can't quite remember) were also very patient and quick with us! None of us ever went without a drink and they truly made the evening so fun and relaxing. Thank you so much to the Royal Palm staff that worked Saturday evening! I HIGHLY recommend this place - you will not be let down

Had a fun time here for a friend's going away party. Game is simple but fun, they also had big Connect Four...I didn't drink or eat there, so can't speak to that. But it's a nice time.

Cute place! Great for events and large groups of friends. Usually crowded on weekends but rather empty on weekdays after the pandemic. $50/1 hour game.

Cool spot to chill with some friends. Great service and good music. Haven't been to a shuffle board spot like this before, Brooklyn always surprises me. Would come back.

Came from NJ. Actually say the Giants exhibit at the Brooklyn Museum and had this place saved for a minute. If you are wondering if you should go… GO!! This was super dope! Chill vibes, the person who helped us Gabby was Amazing! She is single handedly the reason why we’ll be back! Drinks were great (rec: the earl ball) didn’t have food but there’s a food truck inside. Amazing experience. This is 100% a 5 star place! The person behind the counter was amazing, the music was all vibes. This place was great!

This place is awesome! I came to the Royal Palms Shuffledboard Club randomly a few Saturdays ago with some friends, and it is just such a cool place with a great vibe! Shuffleboard is $50 per game and you get a buzzer like you would at a restaurant to know when your game is ready. The game was fun and there were plenty of people there to help! The best part of the night though was the DJ, this guy played such a solid mix of some newer songs with great 70s hits and it just made for an awesome time! Will absolutely go back!

This venue goes above and beyond expectations. I have personally hosted three of my birthday parties here, been to 4 other birthday parties here, and have never had less than a fantastic experience. It had been a while since I was back so I came with a group of 8 of my friends earlier today. We had a small reservation mishap and we were concerned and frustrated. Lo and behold, John “Spicy Boy” from the Royal Palms team came to us within minutes, quelled our concerns, and more than adequately comped our expenses to make the inconvenience whole. This venue is hyper-focused on providing an excellent customer experience, and I plan to continue coming back.

'23/10 1st time customer (from California)/review: -- Easy-to-find on main street, though no real street parking, so be prepared to walk. -- 10 Shuffle board lanes. -- 2 full bars. -- Hip, happening atmosphere. >> Bottom Line: go for a good time, return for League play

Lots of fun great drinks and helpful staff if it's your first time playing. They have board games at the desk that you can play if you're waiting or just want to play board games and have some drinks. Good place to go with friends or even a date.

One of my favorite spots in the city! The shuffle board set up is so fun - usually you can rent a court within 30 minutes. Love this place when it’s too hot or cold to visit outdoor spaces. In the meantime other games such as jenga or connect 4. Great drinks, Good for large groups

I don’t have enough good things to say about this place. So fun, friendly staff, and good drinks and food! I can’t believe I’ve lived in the city for 7 years and am just now coming here !!

Fun place that’s good for a large group event. Drinks are decently priced with friendly bartenders. Pretty straightforward venue.

Love this place! We had so much fun playing shuffleboard. All of the staff is top notch, drinks are great and the vibe is chill. On a Saturday it was easy enough to get a lane if you go when they open. It filled up and was packed really quickly. Regardless, a good time.

A really fun place with a retro vibe. Haven’t played shuffleboard but the music is good and you can play games.

As far as bars go its cool but it’s not great but as far as shuffleboard places / group activity locations - it’s great. It’s kind of a hard place to describe. So they have shuffleboard and you can play with a group of friends - which is quite fun. But beyond that it’s an ok bar that is oversized for the amount of people there. So don’t really go here thinking you will meet people or spend the entire night. It’s much more of a group activity, first stop of the night or corporate event kind of place.

Dario is fantastic. What a great bartender, he brings people together and makes you feel like a regular on day one.

Cool place to hang out, grab a drink, or even have an informal event. I spent a birthday here playing cards against humanity & I attended a bachelorette party here. The shuffleboard is fun, but make sure you have a reservation. The drinks are good, but not mind blowing. The wallpaper in the bathroom is super cool (picture below).
