Amazing space. Lovely vibe on a Friday night. Decorations are amazing with artwork everywhere. The drinks were also really good. I had the “do the right thing”, basically a strawberry margarita. The front porch is also very cute.

Ahhh. What can I say? This place is a vibe. The service is great and very patient wait staff. Please try the Seitan tacos. They are fantastic! The drinks are phenomenal especially The Basquiat if you like Sorrel and Rum. The music is lit! There’s always an event here that’s poppin’. This is a Black Owned Establishment. Covid vaccinations are required. Indoor and takeout dinning only. Parking is not an issue. Go and enjoy the ambiance.

It was good…until a rat tried to crawl up my leg while eating in their outdoor seating area! I should add that management didn’t ask if I was ok but responded that it was not a reflection on the restaurant. I think I’ll always remember that one. But the DJ did his thing tho

I just dropped in to use the bathroom. They were very accommodating. My Sister had been there to eat and highly recommend it. I'll eat there on my next visit for sure. I get tired of seeing the signs that read, Restroom for customers only...what about former and future customers.

Great music. Great drinks. It’s nice to see local spot survive the pandemic and evolve. The new food menu looks tasty AF. Looking forward to many more nights here. Management has done well to pivot.

10/10! I absolutely loved this spot! Great ambiance and fun decorations. Went for Taco Tuesday and they have unlimited tequila drinks and tacos. They also have karaoke on Tuesdays as well which was a vibe. I got just the unlimited tequila drinks and they tasted great and were strong! I also got the Tamarind Wings and they were soooo good! The staff is so fun and friendly I enjoyed their service. Will definitely be going back.

I went here with sole friends on a Tuesday . They have unlimited tacos and tequila for 50$ Per person if you like which is a great catch considering how good the food and drinks were . Our server was Oliver and he was great . Very friendly and took great care of us . I had the shrimp tacos and it was amazing and I’ll be going back for more . Their jerk chicken nachos were really good as well. They serve water in tequila bottles which was really cool and different and they have amazing art walls. Place can be busy so make sure you get a table

Our office rented out the space for a Christmas party. It was large enough to hold everyone while still being an intimate setting. The drinks were preset, but all really good and strong. The food was absolutely delicious. The DJ had great vibes and the staff were super accommodating to us. No complaints here, Good Vibes only!!!

A nice layout. Very reminiscent of Manhattan club lounges in the late 90's to 2000's. Inner decorations live up to the art related name of Basquiat. I don't know if any of Basquiat's works are there but I like to imagine he would like it. Tip for bar ordering: have cash in hand when trying to get a bartenders attention...it works wonders. The mix of people was nice..lot of eye candy around the board.

First time i went there it was a kick. My server was emma . She was cool and atmospheric..she needs to be there often, she brings real life to such an artistic place. She fits right in and seems part of the artful motif. The drinks are served chilled and are tasty.

I love this place they have great parties on the weekends from 10 PM to 4 AM/if you look at their Instagram sometimes you’ll have a great brunch with guest chefs and the food is amazing. They always have the best DJs. Very hospitable, as a black person from Nyc you will meet a lot of other Black people from New York City here so it’s definitely a local spot which is the best to me.

Basquiat's Bottle is a vibe and more. Perfect for date night on the whim, and something to plan for on the weekend. They have a great selection of drinks and food and also collaborate with local black artists. Eclectic experience.

I would leave zero stars if possible. I went to happy hour here a couple of times and I will never return. The drinks are really, really strong so be careful. The bartenders are the least friendly people I have ever encountered. It's really difficult to order from them. I've been worked in the service industry and I was blown away by their disgusting attitudes. I ordered food the first time I went. The male bartender never rang it in. I kept following up and he was giving me so much attitude. I would get another drink when I followed up with him. Never got the food and ended up very sick from so much alcohol. I am not a young person that cannot handle alcohol. The last time I went I ordered the food online since I didn't get it ordering from the bartenders my first visit. Again they are not at all friendly. The order totaled $36.91. I went up to the young woman with the shaved head who was sitting in front of the kitchen. She rudely told me she was eating. I then got the attention of the rude bartender. He claimed to have no idea what I was talking about even tho I showed him the order on my phone. He claimed they didn't have the items I ordered. This business did collect the money as evidenced by my account! Imagine ordering online, paying for the food, and the merchant telling you they don't serve that. Wings and tacos!!!! Filed a dispute with my bank as the owner of this business is unresponsive. They DID NOT PROVIDE THE FOOD I ORDERED AND PAID FOR. Again I ordered online to avoid dealing with their horrid bartenders. Horrible!

Me and friend were just looking for a local happy hour spot in Brooklyn. Attracted by their location, good reviews and art. They have a good price on their bottles during happy hour but I did not like the choices but for those who are true drinkers, not a bad deal. Good vibes with the staff, music and food.

This has become one of my favorite places to chill, have a drink, and hear some good music in brooklyn. The art work speaks for itself. I mean come on, Basquiat was an artistic genius. I love the vibe in this spot. From the decor to the eclectic cocktail offerings to the jams both old and new, everything is on point. If u havent been, your missing out!!!

Need better drinks, I'm a wine drinker, wasn't lot of wine choices. Other than that musicccc greaatttt, will be back with friends.

EDIT ADDED AT THE BOTTOM: i’ve never sent food back at a restaurant before, this was my first and hopefully last time! waited over 20 minutes for soup while there was one other table eating, got the soup and it had hardly any flavor at all, the flavor it did have wasn’t good either. i sent it back and waited for my friend to get their food. their chicken sandwich & fries came out and it was also bland, i had already ordered the same thing and it came out also bland. my friend finally got their drink after we had finished with the food and their soda was flat. the service was very slow and i absolutely hate leaving bad reviews but the experience was terrible. edit: to respond to the owner since google won’t allow me to, this experience was a few months ago not currently, however i don’t like leaving bad reviews right after a negative experience. i believe the items we had were (forgive me if the names are incorrect) the curry split pea/lentil soup, and the fried chicken sandwich with fries. i attended an event and ate at your restaurant and have confirmed that it was you by looking for the old flyer. hoping your roof gets fixed soon.

Went on a low key Sunday evening towards closing. The food was great but the service could have been a little better. Definitely would give it another go, earlier in the evening!

Are you guys under new management or have a new cook? I usually stick to the wings but today I decided to try the seafood platter and I was disappointed. They got my order in correct, even after confirming it. The portion size was small. The crab cake’s doesn’t taste fresh. To make matters worse, I was overcharged for an item I asked the price for. Not sure if I would come back, well at least not for the food. But you do have decent when you host. I would have posted pictures of the food if it allowed

Went here on Saturday , on Sunday I received a notification to my card of additional Tip charges, two additional charges to be exact, first purchase, I gave cash, and still my card was charged tip, second I paid tip to the card and the tip amount was INCREASED on the final charge, why was my card charge extra money? If you go here please save your receipt and watch these people , I did not save the receipt but I know what I paid. I don’t like stuff like this , it’s stealing.

Went here for NYE and we really enjoyed their chill atmosphere, nice strong drinks, and great choice of music! They have a downstairs lounge area that's very nice, and we'll be sure to come back again!

This my spot. Chill atmosphere fun crew. They get really busy on Friday nights. They have an evening brunch that they do I think until 12 which is to cool. They have unlimited Tequila Tuesday which is also nice. Their tacos are ok if you like corn soft shells, I do not but my friends were busting them down so they must have been delicious. If you want a place in Brooklyn to have great vibes and a great time come through, you will not be disappointed.

The ambiance and aesthetic is incredible. I really enjoyed the unique mac and cheese and delicious sweet chili wings 🌶️ I'm a Brooklyn Native & a Basquiat fan so all of this was in my element. I've never seen a basketball backboard masterfully woven into a design before I had a incredible time visiting Basquiats Bottle as a part of Kwanzaa Crawl. It was vibrant energy great music flowing drinks and jovial people . I'm certainly going to return. I love businesses owned by the Diaspora
