I’ve been really excited to try this place and bring my mom when she was in town with her puppy, but the bartender wouldn’t serve her because she didn’t have her ID. Not only that but she was like all snarky about it and said who goes to the bar without an ID?? Umm a 65 year old woman? There were only two other people in there so I was kind of shocked they were turning away people of obvious drinking age but oh well 🤷🏻‍♀️

Came here for the reviews, but it was a major let down. The bartender was extremely rude. The bar wasn't crowded and she took over 20 minutes to acknowledge me. Tried to help her out by writing down my groups drink order and she raised her voice and told me she couldn't read it and that I had to read it out (she forgot half of it and I had to repeat it anyways). I took a step back from the bar to give her time to make the drinks and she yelled and told me to get back to the bar. Only good thing about this place is the dogs. Great vibe but horrible service.

Bartender was rude and aggressive, shouting at us and making us feel very uncomfortable. He was also wasted and constantly drinking behind the bar, as well as staring at his phone and not serving people. Shame as could be a good bar otherwise. He was working in the evening of Weds 24th May in case the owner would like to immediately fire - which I suggest would be a sensible idea.

A great bar! Excellent drinks and service, great outdoor patio for the dogs and overall amazing times are to be had here. It does get crowded closer to the evening so come early to grab a good spot and make many new fuzzy friends!

Do you love beer? Do you also love dogs? This place is for you! Met the happiest pups ever just walking around the bar or even enjoying a treat at the bar top. Good drinks a chill place to hang out with friends or make some new ones.

The Lucky Dog, surprising to me, was full of dogs on the back patio. Go figure. Jokes aside, I thought it was a great bar. It's divey inside, with shuffleboard, dim lighting, and rock music, and a little more family friendly on the patio. They're fans of Miller High Life, which I support

So… this bar is amazing because it’s a doggy bar & there are tons of puppers & dogos to pet. But more importantly the bartender is amazing & provided a superior level of bartending service. This is my first google review because of how dope this spot & bartender are and I felt I should let people know

Excellent bar! Drinks were great, staff were lovely. Sadly no dogs when we went but it was still worth a visit!

Great bar to bring your dog to or just to hang out with dogs. Great backyard with a lot of seating and room to walk. The inside doesn’t have many tables but has plenty of bar stools. Drinks were delicious and cheap! Great place to spend an afternoon

I love this place. The fact that they allow dogs brought me so much joy toward the end of our bar crawl through NY. The staff was super nice and described a couple of their drinks to us. We had a couple of beers while "adopting" one of the other patron's dogs at the bar. Really want to come back here because I love dogs and I can pet all the dogs I want here while having a beer!

Top notch dive bar vibes with shuffleboard and a large outdoor patio with plenty of seats and adorable dogs running around. If you like dogs and cheap drinks this is probably your favorite bar in Williamsburg.

Just a great neighborhood bar that lets you bring your dog which is awesome. So few indoor places cater to dog owner and we’re lucky we have somewhere to go on a rainy day. Good NYC dive bar vibes, and drinks are reasonably priced

Came here for the first time in four years with my bf, it was his first time here. Bryant was our bartender and he was great- attentive to everyone and had great recommendations, like for our Hot Toddy/cider nightcaps! Great selection of drinks. The cute doggos that come are a huge plus! Great local bar and you won’t be disappointed!

Rad as hell dive bar. My dog and I love hanging here. Great music, and awesome staff! Starting off the day or recovering from last night? Get yourself a "Ring of Fire".

Awesome dog friendly, laid back neighborhood bar. Especially great in the warmer months thanks to the back patio!

Our favorite down key bar. No food, but you can bring your best friend. Staff is friendly and attentive, crowd is usually happy and welcoming. Sometime there’s a few rowdy dogs but it’s rare. Definitely swing by with your fluff for a day out you both deserve.

Hole in the wall…more like a home in the wall. Wish my dog were lucky enough to be here with me. The draft beer selection is on point, and the essentials for great classic cocktails. The wonderfully worn wood counters ooze good times and great drinking to life, not the pesky details. But it would be nice if they had the UNION/TabbedOut ordering system to deliver drinks a wee bit faster. Perfect for a single bartender model efficiency. Oh, and I saw this picturesque red scooter 🛵

Very chill bar with a great amount of dogs and friend people. If I had a dog I would totally bring it to this bar!! The outside area is very Brooklyn.

I’ll always love this spot, but it’s a shame that it’s less of a dog bar now and more of a classic Williamsburg bar. Dogs must stay on leash now and most patrons don’t have a dog at all. It’s still a great time!! Just not the dog-tailored bar that I used to think of it as.

My dog walking service, Brooklyn Family Dog Walker recommended this place to me. I need a place to stop by in my neighborhood and one that's dog friendly. This is the best option. I would once again like to thank Brooklyn Family Dog Walker for the great reco.

Lovely neighborhood dive with friendly staff, underburg, local taps, and cute dogs to boot! Reminded me of tornado in SF!

A good spot for an off-hours beer. The backyard, which had always been a great feature, felt more spacious and less ramshackle than the cramped sheds that have popped up during the pandemic. Normally this place is pretty packed (and the inside still was, relatively speaking) but on a Sunday night it was peaceful and low key.

Love this bar but based on our last experience, it's not longer that dog friendly. There's a new rule: you can bring your dog in but it has to be kept on a leash. The backdoor where dogs could run around now has the door kept open which runs straight out to the open front door which is less than ideal.
