So so happy to see them open again since this is my #1 spot to go to for oysters and a nice vibe. The food was delicious if not better than i last remember and our server Jack was super sweet and attentive and gave phenomenal recommendations. Looking forward to our next visit! P.S if you can request to sit at the oysters bar please do so because the experience in my opinion is the best. The oystertainer (i believe is what you call these professionals) was energetic and helpful we also had a nice conversation about his background and skills which was nice.

Every time we come back to this place it's always an amazing experience! Every single dish we've tried was flavorful and delicious and their cocktails are just outstanding. They also have a great selection of oysters and service is always top-notch. This is definitely our go-to place for a romantic date night.

Had the most marvelous time at this bar in Brooklyn! We sat outside and enjoyed a seafood tower and many craft cocktails. It was also hopping inside and has a pretty neat vintage bathroom too. The service was outstanding and the seafood was very fresh and prepared perfectly.

We popped in for just a couple of drinks before heading out to dinner. I loved the place and the service! We grabbed a seat at the bar, which was the best spot to be at for just drinks. The bartender was so nice and friendly each time we asked “what’s the drink?” Will definitely come back to the old century looking bar!!

One of NYC’s top cocktail bars is back after a pandemic hiatus. The New Orleans influenced decor and menu are replete with absinthe cocktails and seafood towers. Go early to get your spot at the coveted U shaped bar. Don’t miss one of the city’s best raw bars. James Beard award-winning and Michelin recommended.

Such a lovey dining experience! The cocktails were complex and tasty, and of course the presentation is over the top in the best way! Makes for a nice photo opportunity. Great selection of oysters, kind and attentive staff. Can’t wait for our next visit when i’m back in the city!

The most beautiful garden patio! Such a fun surprise to walk into. Impressive cocktail, absinthe and wine menu. It was so diverse and overwhelming! The service was professional and attentive. We ordered 2 dozen oysters, they were perfectly chilled. Definitely stopping in again.

Located in Brooklyn, this restaurant/bar is very nice and well decorated, with a beautiful garden. We had a few well-prepared cocktails and two types of oysters. The staff were friendly and helpful. I recommend it!

Maison Premiere is the rare and special place that does not compromise on service, ambiance, or quality. The drinks are creative, complex, and beautifully garnished and the raw bar offers a variety of tasty options. If you haven’t had the chance to visit Maison Premiere yet, mark your calendar, it’s worth it.

My good friend brought me to this cute spot! We decided to come here for brunch and it was everything we wanted and more. We ordered mimosas to start with. We wanted a smorgasbord of items to share, and didn't find a entree that we were in the mood for. We had... Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail Oysters Scrambled Eggs Roasted Potatoes Mixed Greens Salad Biscuits (We ordered seconds!) The seafood here is so amazingly fresh and really delicious! The biscuits are pure heaven. They're sweet and baked perfectly. We had to order seconds! It comes with in house made butter and jam - TDF! Definitely coming back for seafood and biscuits! Everything else was good, but nothing to write home about. The food is very heavy so be prepared to be in food coma! Service was good.

May be my new favorite cocktail bar in the area along with its seafood selection and towers. Absolutely incredible cocktails. Amazing atmosphere. Accommodating for small and large party’s, with friendly wait staff. Food was excellent, besides the seaweed butter for the bread is an acquired taste, but is not what you go for. Everything from the shellfish apps to drinks were incredible. Excited to be back!

Cozy and intimate spot, I would recommend a seat along the booth over the bar if you want to really cozy up. Service was excellent and our waitress was very knowledgeable in regards to the oyster selection. The seaweed butter that came with the bread was perfection, I loved the slight brininess, the leeks vinaigrette dish was a touch too salty, the lobster roll was one of the best we’ve had, and the beef cheeks were tender and flavorful.

Love this place!! Beautiful garden seating and old school-looking interiors. Recommend trying the crudo and of course the oysters. The absinthe cocktails are not to miss.

I am soo happy Maison Premiere is open again! The drinks are amazing, the oysters are great, the staff is kind and has the best recommendations (and patience with my many questions about the different drinks). The cocktail selection is great — you can’t go wrong with any choice And did I mention it has the loveliest outdoor patio? Definitely worth the trip from the UWS :)

Maison Premier is a stylish oyster house that has a largest selection of premium absinthes in the city that is also inspired by old-world in New Orleans. Great verities of East and West coast oysters and warm hospitality.

I had the most lovely time at Maison Premiere. The staff was incredibly accommodating and made me feel instantly at home, the atmosphere was cozy, yet sexy, and my martini was bright and flavorful. They also have a wide selection of oysters, so you'll be able to find one you like no matter your pallet. Tip: go for the happy hour for a great oyster deal.

We stopped here for cocktails and oysters before our dinner. It was spectacular!! Mary Grace was our server and she was awesome. Our drinks were taking a while and she brought us champagne to make up for it. We were celebrating our friends birthday and she surprised us with a delicious crème brûlée. Definitely recommend going there, the atmosphere was awesome and unique and cocktails were delicious.

Wow…! If you follow my reviews, you probably know I’m picky. Sitting in Maison Premiere right now and I have no words except awesome! These are the nicest waiters that i’ve ever met in the whole New York City restaurant experience until now, trust me, we’ve been to Michelin-starred restaurants and the waiters can’t compare to the genuine feeling that the waiters here make us feel. Amazing drinks; try to get a table along the bar then you can enjoy the bartender shows, they are pros. Well, we go to restaurants to enjoy food, right? So here comes the food review: oysters and shrimp are fresh, we tried raw scallops for the first time, and it opened some channels in my brain lol, best pork chop we’ve ever had, charred on the outside, super tender inside. We got the crème brûlée; it was smooth, creamy. I did taste a hint of alcohol in it which is a plus since I like desserts with alcohol associated with it. I have no better words now; will come back for a check and balance review. So far, I enjoy the experience, atmosphere, and the people here. LOVE it! Sorry no food fotos, I was amazed by the food forgot to take picture lol. Yeah it was that good!

Really great experience. My first time back in ~7 years and it’s better than I remember. Impressive oyster list - at least 25 varieties from all over. Group favorite was Raspberry Point from PEI. Favorite cocktail was The Shining Path (also tried the cobbler and the Pimm’s cup, also good but on sweeter side). Food wise we had the lobster roll, clam toast, and the beef cheek. Clam toast was my favorite out of those. Service and atmosphere were great as well.

After this establishment closed their doors for over 1 year due to the pandemic, my boyfriend & I were eager to be welcomed for our fourth time. We of course ordered the chef’s choice of oysters, followed by a few shrimps (they were fresh!) He had the absinthe and I stuck with gin cocktails. The bartenders even helped pick our next rounds of drinks by finding what ingredients we liked best in the first. The atmosphere takes you back to the 20’s, the dim lit interior & of course the classical instrumental music. We had a ball and can’t wait to come back. FYI - they are following the CDC guidelines & checking vaccination cards, so make sure you are vaxxed :)

Love the vibe of this place. Lots of choice for oysters and good service. We ordered a dozen (6 types) of oysters and we received the wrong one for one of them. I didnt bother bringing it up since I didn't want to make a fuss over 2 oysters. The server later somehow realized we got the wrong type and brought us 2 extra oysters without me saying anything!

I love this bar. The vibe was cool. The drinks were amazing. We only got a few appetizers at the bar. Everything was delicious. I plan on going back with my husband. If you love great cocktails. This is definitely the place to be. I will also add that the hostess was really nice and got us seated right away.

Their oysters are on par with Oyster Bar Grand Central. Excellent aphrodisiac food. Lobster is cooked perfect. Scallop curdo and shrimp cocktail are excellent.

I visited Maison Premiere a few weeks ago with my partner and had an amazing time!! The hostess was incredibly sweet and personable. There was a bit of a wait, but nothing too bad. We sat at the bar and got to watch the bartenders work their magic. They were fun to talk to and even made me a custom drink because I had a particular combo in mind. We had the oysters and shrimp and loved them!! The bar area was cozy, but there is restaurant seating in the back room and a gorgeous patio. I felt like I was in a bar in the French Quarter! I absolutely loved this restaurant, and I highly recommend going if you are in the Williamsburg area!

Maison Premiere has the best selection of oysters in all of NYC, and I’ve tried pretty much every bar that serves oysters in the city. It doesn’t hurt that it is also a classic cocktail bar that transports you to another era and has a friendly staff and knowledgeable bartenders. Worth going out of your way to come here, and certainly worth stopping by when you’re in the area.

Amazing oysters bar with phenomenal cocktails. It’s easy to see why this place is on the Michelin list. Staff are friendly, knowledgeable and the place feels like it’s straight out of a novel. Tons of fantastic, niche absinthe’s and spirits. I love it here. Thanks Maison Premiere!

Thursday night and still crowded. I love the ambiance of this place so much, very cool round bar and beautiful romantic backyard. Drinks are fancy, I asked the bartender to make something creative for me and he made Jungle bird which is fruity and refreshing:) my friends and I will come back another time for oysters and food.

The good: This must be one of the best or the best cocktail bar in NYC. The atmosphere is calm ,not noisy, kind staff, excellent service. The drinks are well balanced, good ingredients, and there are several and great choices. You can get a Martini like 1950 style, very strong with interesting flavor. It is prepared in front of you by a specialist. They have a seafood money and the fluke dish is great. The bad: The seaweed butter with bread I do not recommend for those light in stomach. Some bar tenders use mask and other don't. Bathroom not so clean. Overall, this is by far my favorite cocktail place and it worth the price.

I actually went a couple months back for the first time and had an overall great experience. I dined at the bar was attended by Eddie, he was very polite and attentive! The drink recommendations he had for me were spot on and I was impressed by both and taste and look of their cocktails. I had a few oysters which were good and absolutely loved their lobster roll. Highly recommend but maybe not in a hot day as it can get stuffy inside.

We sat at the bar for a weekday happy hour. The drinks and atmosphere were both great! The bartenders were super friendly and knowledgeable and made us some fantastic drinks. We ordered oysters and they were some of the some of the best I've had in a while. I'd like to go back and try some of the other menu items!

This is my second time visiting and I will definitely return again. Their oysters and scallop crudo is so fresh! The scallops were like butter how they almost melted in my mouth! Now the hot toddy coupled with the servers presentation of the drink and the drink itself, amazing!! They shall see me again!

Went to Maison for my quiet birthday celebration and had just the best time. Like their cocktails, they find the perfect balance — it’s low key and intimate yet impossibly chic; bartenders are clearly experts in their craft yet totally approachable. It was so exceedingly pleasant and I can’t recommend this establishment enough. It 100% lives up to its fame… and more! Thank you for a great night, I can’t wait to go back.

First time coming here and it was wonderful. We had a rsvp for 4pm which was great because it wasn't busy and practice. The server were very nice and helpped us with whatever questions we had about our dishes.

It’s a cute place for snacks and chatting, but not for meals. They barely have any entrees to eat for dinner. The oysters were pretty good. The bar is walk-in friendly but table seating is almost nonexistent for walk ins, unless you want to wait for 3 hours for a table or make a reservation beforehand. Left still hungry after spending $50+ per person (each had one entree, one cocktail, some oysters)

My evening at this restaurant was a rollercoaster of experiences, and I'm keen to share every detail with you. My long-awaited late-night date here was something I had been anticipating for ages, having marked this spot on my list quite some time ago. Living in Long Island, I always hope for a seamless dining experience, especially given the travel involved. Our arrival on a busy Saturday night was met with the news of a fully booked venue and a staggering wait time of a couple of hours, despite visibly available tables and bar seats. Although discouraged by this and the unusual policy of not being allowed to wait at the bar, we decided not to give up and headed to order a drink. Here, we encountered John, the bartender, whose behavior was less than professional, to say the least. Refusing to let this ruin our night, I took matters into my own hands. I found and booked an open reservation online, then approached the manager, Gloria. This marked a significant turn in our experience. Gloria was understanding and swiftly addressed our situation, offering us wine while we waited for our table, which was quickly prepared. From that point on, the service was impeccable. The oysters and clams were exceptional, the drinks delightful, and the lobster roll and sashimi were top-notch. A special thanks to the waitstaff and Gloria for showcasing the true quality of this restaurant. While the initial interaction with the hostess and John was deeply disappointing, Gloria's intervention salvaged our evening. I highly recommend trying the food and wine here. Despite the rocky start, the quality of the meal and the latter part of our experience are reasons enough to visit.

This place has a beautiful garden and the vibe indoors is totally different. It’s basically two separate experiences! The drinks are very expensive but equally delicious! The presentation of the drinks is very thoughtful and aesthetically pleasing

We live in UES, NYC and decided to make the trek to Brooklyn to Maison Premiere because my wife was in the mood for some good seafood and oysters. This restaurant was fantastic from the NOLA vibes to the amazing cocktails, with most importantly the food was delicious! Every single item we tried made us more excited to try the next dish we ordered. All the staff there were super nice and helpful. We would definitely come back here for a date night and some more oysters. Definitely make sure you make a reservation before going since they are very popular and busy.
