If on the prowl for consistently fun late night entertainment while in Williamsburg, Pete's Candy Store won't disappoint for many. Menu options are fairly priced reaching a quality standard, and my party was greatly pleased that kirin was available on draft. With some sort of event lineup every night of the week, there is no shortage of excitement to keep visitors engaged while hoping to draw in new ones. Throughout my time here, I routinely heard reference to the back room's comparison to being like a train on account of its layout and seating arrangement. The area's setup demands full attention to the front stage, and most acts will definitely earn it.

We made a trek to Pete's on a muggy Saturday afternoon/evening. When we arrived ~5:45, there were just a few people there, but things really picked up by 7 when the band started. Shoutout to the solo bartender who handled the surge well until help arrived. Thoroughly enjoyed our time there!

Awesome little bar and venue. I went on a Wednesday and saw a couple of talented comedians at their stand-up night.

Came here for trivia on a Wednesday and loved it! Trivia starts at 7:30 so we got there a bit earlier to stake out a table for a group and there was plenty of seating! The vibes are great and there are three pretty large spaces for seating. The grilled cheese and chips are a nice touch and I was a huge fan of the hibiscus mule! The trivia itself was pretty hard but I'll definitely be coming back here with my friends to try again!

Pete's Candy store will quickly become the place where you meet your best friends. Literally through this bar I've met lifelong friends and even eventually found my current job (through a friend I met there). Amazing poetry open mic on first Friday of the month too. Much love

Such a fun quirky space with a great teeny tiny music/comedy venue. But the drink was pretty bad- definitely would not recommend the hot toddy at all. I’d go back for another Side Salad Comedy show but skip the hot toddy. It was basically just hot water with bourbon- you could not taste the spices nor citrus at all.

Pete’s Candy Store is a great venue. It’s unique layout will remind New Yorkers of being in a train car with seating on either side of the room. Except that the walls kind of look like giant chocolate bars which is perfect for Pete’s. It’s a great venue to catch up and coming artists as well as bigger acts looking for an intimate space. There’s a nice outdoor area for getting away from the music or just getting some air. The bar is great, they usually have a couple of bartenders taking care of everyone and the drinks are great. They used to have a tiny kitchen making grilled cheese sandwiches, not gonna lie I miss those sandwiches.

Cool bar with a very unique space for live music in the back. The under-designed feel was appreciated and appropriate for the style of underground indie rock I was so lucky to listen to on a Monday night. Will be back!

Incredible bar with an outdoor patio area. Wednesday nights are the best with a weekly comedy showcasing new line up of comics. Bartenders are wonderful and kind.

They have an intimate space where musicians would come and perform. Really great if you want to grab a drink and listen to some live music in an intimate setting. They also have outdoor seating, and the few times I have been there it was not crowded. Oh and there is also snacks

Was here twice, once for comedy and recently for live music. The bar and venue is intimate and welcoming. There's a nice variety of affordable drinks and the bartender was attentive even when busy. I had a Kirin Ichiban on draft and a Hot Toddy. Both hit the spot 😋 The live music was nice too! The comedy wasn't all great but there were two comedians that made it worthwhile. Great place for a date or meeting friends. Will definitely be back!

Pretty much the only bar i go to consistently. Music can be hit or miss but i always love checkin it out, cause when its great, its great. Staff is pretty nice, the bouncers have great vibes. Back yard is great for sitting with many people. Inside is cozy, but often packed on a weekend, also tends to get a bit fratty with the crowd. The music venue area is truly a gem and even if things could be better in there, I wouldn’t want them to change. Great spot

If you’re looking for live music, Pete’s Candy Store has some of the best live music in the Williamsburg/Greenpoint area. Friendly staff, bartenders, and great drinks to go with it.

Well established dive in Williamsburg, cold drinks, good music, if you're from out of town looking for a night thats low key but not boring (if that makes any sense) start your vacation here around 9

A Brooklyn classic it has been open for more than two decades and hasn’t changed much at all. The best part is the music venue on the back where you can see all sorts of local musicians.

I was walking by and saw this young artist performing. I attended and oh lord PLZ GET HER AGAIN. The talent is here. The best part that there was no cover up charge. We had great time with drinks and food. [Thank you @Chloebeemusic for letting me take your pic]

Can’t speak on the drinks here as I just came for a music show. Small, intimate performance space. The backyard is nice as well.

This bar is awesome.. They have live bands and the atmosphere is amazing. The drinks are reasonable priced and kinda strong. I met some really cool people there also.

Honestly this place is magical. Super cozy great vibe. Drink some delicious seasonal cocktails and then when you drink too many have a jalapeno or prosciutto grilled cheese sammie! Also- the trailer half shell in the back with these tiny lights where bands play is super cool and cozy too. You have to go to Pete's to see what I'm talking about, here. Really good acts too....one of my favorite spots, so special! Go!!

Awesome bar with a cozy live music venue. Cold AC in the music area and awesome backyard. If you're looking to get away from the Kent St area this is a great place to see!

Super chill neighborhood bar. Usually just a really nice vibe, there's an inside and an outside section. During special events and trivia it can get pretty hectic but the bartenders (shout out to Kam and Jane particularly) are highly competent under fire 💪🤟✊🍻

The venue is incredible, solid beers, I enjoy the place greatly and go there often on weekends but I will say, I’ve witnessed some bartenders(it’s only 2 of them) get mad at people when they don’t tip 20%, I’ve seen them confront customers about it, I find that to be incredibly rude and unprofessional,
