Get here immediately. Truly the best everything! The best service, the best food, and an awesome ambiance filled with personal touches. I had a taste for a good carbonara pasta and turned to Google and Yelp. Concrete has really high marks on both, so I decided to give it a try. Francesco's carbonara is the best I have ever had. The pasta was perfectly al dented, and the dish was prepared the traditional way, with egg yolk. What an outstanding, rich, and substantial dish. Additionally, a pizza oven has been installed, so I got super lucky and was able to try a slice. Oh, and let me not forget the DESSERT. Tiramisu and fresh, handmade canolli. My goodness, can you say FOODIE HEAVEN! What's wild is. beyond the food, Francesco and his wife won my heart with their warm hospitality and beautiful family stories. They truly made my experience unforgettable.

I have been coming here since they opened. I got to say that I never ever left disappointed. The food is so tasty and delicious, a real Sicilian Gem ( try their “Panelle” and prove me wrong ). The owners are always kind and available. The service, both at the bar and at the table, impeccable. Kayla and Candace were taking care of me today and they made my day with their hospitality. Warmly recommend!

Incredible food, big portions. Beautiful wine. Incredible service. Live jazz on Wednesdays. Come support this authentic Sicilian neighborhood spot. By far the best restaurant in the area.

This is my go to place in the neighborhood, especially if you're in the mood for some Italian! The couple that runs the restaurant are awesome, and the atmosphere is great if you need a romantic date spot. Highly recommend the carbonara with chili oil if you're a fan of hot and spicy.

My boyfriend and I were looking for an Italian place to eat lunch as our usual place was closed. We happily found Concrete on google maps and made our way over. When you walk up to it, you definitely wonder if you’re in the right place, but as soon as you step inside, the atmosphere is cozy, warm, and welcoming. We were greeted by Francesco, who was super hospitable. The menu has everything you’d want from an Italian place and more, even some classic American options. The cocktails were amazing, I had the espresso martini, which was one of the best I’ve had. My boyfriend had an Over the Counter, which was yummy and refreshing. We ordered two pastas and a pizza, which the pastas blew us away. Cooked perfectly for me, Al dente, but I can also see if some like theirs not as firm. The pizza was fluffy, crispy, and thin. The bottom was not soggy at all, perfectly crisp. My boyfriend still can’t stop talking about the hot oil on the pizza. All and all, the warm environment created by Francesco and his staff is an added plus to the amazing food they serve, we can’t wait to come back! PS the desserts are also incredible!!!

It’s one of those spot when you arrive you question that if you’re at the right place, until you go inside! Great spot, my first time with my friend who also loved his food. I got the chicken burger which was super juicy and delicious. The fries were great and they aren’t shy with a number of sauces that come with your order! I’m a sauce guy! + an GREAT espresso martini. Def 10/10 recommend! They also have a stage so I’m assuming they have live performances. To sum it up, place is dope AF!

Great find / gem right in my neighborhood! Shame on me for not discovering it before. Great rustic feel, authentic Sicilian food and the drinks, hostess and service was amazing. Very accessible near Myrtle and Bway and super cute for a date. Will definitely go back. Meatballs were my fav!!! Also had the tuna steak 😋

The food and service was phenomenal. I came in here after google searching and wanted some legitimate pasta and that’s exactly what I got. I got the crab puttanesca and let me say the spice level was perfect and the flavors were delicious. Francesco was so friendly and accommodating. Even the drinks and tiramisu were made good. I would recommend anyone go here if you want some authentic food.

Well executed dinner spot but missed the mark. I went here because of the photo of the Tuscan steak. My steak arrived pre-cut into slivers that were well done (I ordered medium). The bread on the table was stale and the potatoes were colorful but needed acid or salt because they were almost mouth dryingly bland. Overall this place is trying and succeeding in offering great quality food on a sketchy corner. Simple improvements would go a long way; non plastic water cups, better attention to sides and fresh bread for the table. They are to be commended on their customer service, meat quality and medium-affordability. For NYC it is a good spot for the price, definitely worth a visit if you are nearby and craving Tuscan food (no pizzas).

Great place! We have been here once before. Food for brunch is always consistent. Very flexible and easy going. We did have a misunderstanding when we were seated but the staff handled it very professionally and still appeased us after our friends were late. Appreciate the flexibility and getting us some food while we waited. Overall very satisfied.

Fabulous. Holy moly. This Sicilian fare heals the weary soul, each bite soothes a hard days work away like a loving mama, a happy celebration for the gut, flavors and textures giving that close-your-eyes “this is life” goodness. Well portioned for sharing or for a good appetite! Or for light eaters, salads also gorgeous and delicious. Perfect for friends meal, date night, groups or families with little ones. Staff is a-mazing. Open spacious dining area with lovely high ceilings but still cozy and intimate. Chill atmosphere, welcoming and inviting. Rustic tables and candles set a calming casual mood. Also, the stage gives fomo for not coming on live performance day. My new favorite place, def will return.

Perfect neighbourhood Italian eatery! Casual but cozy. Warm, authentic service, we felt so welcomed and had a great meal. The margarita pizza was perfect, the ideal combination of crispy and soft and perfectly charred…. Best tiramisu we had ever had! It was happy hour when we went, which was a nice bonus. Definitely will be back!

Received our order and the carbonara tasted old and the egg consistency was fluffy. I’ve had enough pasta from many Michelin star restaurants and not worth the 27 dollars. Will not be ordering again.

One of the best atmospheres I have ever been in. Experience of the restaurant was the same almost anywhere you sat with an exception of the bar. Food was great and our plates were left empty! Would definitely recommend this spot for any occasion.

If I could give 6 stars I would. I had a truly amazing experience here. My friends and I came here without much knowledge of restaurants in Brooklyn and this restaurant did not disappoint. The setting of the restaurant is very comfortable. It’s spacious with ambient lighting and a very homey feel to it. The workers were extremely polite and fun to chat with. I’m unsure of who served us today, but our waitress was the best waitress I’ve ever had in my life. She was very pleasant to talk to and joke around with. She even gave us a tiramisu on her :,).The food was delicious and the bathrooms were clean. I highlyyyy recommend this place!!!

Best Italian spot in BK by far! Authentic Sicilian food is hard to come by in NY but Franscesco and his staff have one of the biggest selections and the dishes never get old because the chef always seems to find a way to outdo himself! Drinks were also outrageously good, this place is definitely here to stay!

A location that used to be an underground Bushwick rave venue called Palisades is now this really cool Sicilian eatery. Dining in the Bushwick/Bed-Stuy neighborhood keeps getting better due to places like this popping up. The food was excellent, the portions filling. The pasta was 'al dente' on the nail and the sauce had good flavor and a hearty consistency; everything that you would want in a proper Italian dining experience.Service was friendly and great, the place has a solid vibe. I'll be going back for sure.

Francesco is the nicest person ever, he made this experience so great. Gave us extra bread and a free dessert. The food was AMAZING, best Italian ever!!!! We loved it.

Soso food but this spot may have the BEST, most friendly service of any restaurant in Brooklyn. Seriously- the staff were amazing! The space is fun overall and a great vibe. The food was honestly underwhelming tbh (I really wanted to like it!) the ragu was pretty simple/bland and the vegetarian Norma pasta was decent but the sauce was thin and the eggplant was a bit chewy. It was serviced with pretty cheap “ricotta” that looked more like a Parmesan sprinkle and had little flavor.

One of my favorite local spots. Unassuming outside, but it's definitely worth the stop! Dope art, dope music, incredible cocktails, and the food is out of this world. I've tried a bunch of options off the menu and haven't had one bad meal yet. Must Try: Espresso Martini Literally Any Pasta Dish Tiramisu

This place has truly become one of my favorite spots in Brooklyn. Francesco and Candice are both genuinely beautiful human beings. It’s a pleasure to see them each visit. They make your experience there amazing. The food and drinks are consistently delicious! The music, decor and vibes are also great; 5 stars all around!

THE BEST SICILIAN RESTAURANT IN NEW YORK!!!!! There should be a "CONCRETE" restaurant in every corner of the world to give everyone the opportunity to taste the specialties of this wonderful Sicilian cuisine. Lovely atmosphere - relaxed but full of ambiance. The dishes are of the highest quality and their simplicity manages to create real emotions. Finding a bit of the real Sicily in a corner of Brooklyn is a special gift. If we lived in the area, we’d be here weekly... Thank you for making our trip so special!

Love this place! Staff is incredible hospitable and friendly. So accommodating of dietary restrictions and have great options. Sometimes they have live music. I love the vibe and atmosphere. They have bar and table seating.

Went Monday night and the vibes were great. Food was delicious and the service was amazing. Second time being there this year and the staff recognized us, we felt like a proper neighborhood restaurant experience. Can't wait to go back.

From the moment my boyfriend and I walked in we were greeted with a genuine welcoming from both the husband and wife. Even though there wasn’t supposed to be table order service, we were still waited on before we had to get up! The food was phenomenal, from the tuna ceviche special which was some of the best tuna I have had ever, to the pasta which had an amazing homemade sauce you will never find any place else. We were constantly attended to and never went without a drink or a friendly stop to see how we were doing. This place definitely does not get as much recognition as it should so if you are in the area, this is a must visit!! We will definitely be going there again, and supporting a small family business warms my heart because they definitely deserve it!!!

GREAT SICILIAN FOOD AND AMAZING ATMOSPHERE!!! We had the most wonderful dinner at CONCRETE. The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable with an outstanding service. The food was absolutely delicious and for sure at a higher level if compared to the other Italian restaurant in New York. They also have great and creative cocktails!!! Portions were excellent and the staff is all very careful with all the COVID restrictions you will feel safe dining here. Great staff, great food, great atmosphere...it doesn't get any better! Outstanding! Highly recommend this restaurant.
