Possibly the best pizza in BK! Went back two days in a row! Had the four cheese pizza (crazy) good. Kale Ceaser salad delicious and the garlic bread top notch. Make sure you get a iced cold coke to go with it!

Solid pizza with an amazing vibe - definitely come here for a date night or with a group of friends! The pizza is fresh and there’s a wide variety of options to choose from. Everything tasted great and came out in a timely fashion. The drinks were also great too! Highly recommend and looking forward to stopping by again.

Barboncino Pizza was absolutely delicious! We arrived around 7:35 PM and did not get seated until around 8:50 PM. We were able to hang out at the bar, so it all worked out. The food was delicious and came out quick, the drinks were great too. The menu is small but not small to the point where there wasn’t something for everyone. I would recommend the caprese salad & any of their pizzas with hot honey & basil added!

It was a nice place! Inside was a bit loud and dark, so we changed to the outside table which was so much better. We had kale salad, eggplant pizza, speck without meat, artichoke with mushroom, and tiramisu. It was good for 4 people sharing! I take one star off because the taste was good but not surprisingly amazing. Maybe it's because it was my first pizza in NY(I don't know how other places are) after all good pizza in europe!

The food was delicious. I wasn’t expecting garlic bread in form of a pizza, something new and with great taste. The staff is friendly and attentive. 🙌🏼

What a gem! I've been to many italian restaurants around the world, and this unexpected one in Brooklyn was quite a surprise. The wooden cooked marguerita was delicious and the ambiance is as authentic as a small italian taverna in tuscany. Recommended for a couple/cozy yet not too fancy yet chill romantic dinner. I went on a Saturday around 15:00 it wasn't much crowded and found a table on the spot. But for weekend dinners i don't know if it's better to reserve first, coz the place has just a few tables.

Good crust, tasty pizza. White pie was a little wet, but it had a good flavor! The red pie with hot honey was great! Highly recommend. Arugula salad with toasted pine nuts had a light but flavorful dressing. Only "issue" is wine glasses and table slat spacing can make for accidental spilling hazard - coasters can solve easily. Outdoor patio seating has a good ambience/vibes.

Lovely spot to grab a big or small bite any time of day. Two of us ordered the Kale Caesar and Four Cheese with Pepperoni pizza to share and still had leftovers. I really enjoyed the pizza crust fresh out of a piping-hot, wood-burning oven, and all of the flavors were fresh and vibrant. The patio was a great addition to the sunny-day lunch. I will definitely be back for more.

Good pizza and beers. We got the outside patio space for a large party and vibes were great. The mobile ordering/payment system also made it very easy for multiple people to open tabs. Would come again next time I’m in the area!

One of my favorite pizza spots in Crown Heights! Lots of outdoor seating on the street and in their back patio. Indoor seating is plenty too. It’s super cozy inside with exposed brick and dim lighting. What we ordered: Arugula salad - not very sharp or bitter. Marinated cherries are little bursts of vinegar. Pine nuts are a welcome textural complement. Clam pizza - so so so good. Perfectly served with a wedge of lime. Covered in toasty garlic pieces. Actual clam meat bursting with flavor. Sopressata Piccante - perfect balance of the tomato sauce and the hot honey ($3 extra).

Cute and charming interior that’s decorated nicely for the holidays. Been coming here for a couple of years now and food is always great, although I’ve noticed a price increase. The Neapolitan meatballs and kale Caesar salad is my go to if I’m not looking to eat pizza, but the sporessata with hot honey is always the move.

First time visiting this restaurant, and it wasn't a disappointment, I ordered four cheese and pepperoni pizzas and was delicious !! It's one of the best pizzas in town, I also had they one signature spicy honey!! Was a great addition to the pizza. The atmosphere and the location is not the best but are worth it, the staff was very friendly and welcoming. I am definitely going back there if I'm in the area !!

From one of the best pizza institutions in Brooklyn. Make sure to get the Nutella calzone for dessert, even if you don’t have room in ur stomach ;)

I ordered the arugula pizza and it was delicious and refreshing. I would suggest not adding so much arugula, I had to take some off since there was so much. The waiters were friendly and very fast. It took less than a minute for the beers to come.

Been here twice now - every time I’ve been in Crown Heights. Some of the best pizza I’ve ever had, especially the sopressata with hot honey. Just yum!

I ordered from this restaurant through Door Dash. I called the restaurant four times to ensure they would add napkins and utensils to the $131 order of pizza and salad. No one ever responded so I called the delivery person who I had already given $10 tip to. I asked him if he had napkins, utensils, spices and plates. ‘Yes I have everything in the bag’… sure enough he comes without anything. Just four pizzas and two salads… nothing to eat with or on or clean our mouths/hands with. I was so annoyed I called the restaurant again - still no answer. After all of that - the pizza was NOT worth the price - our pizzas were soggy!!! Who wants soggy pizza!? NO ONE! WILL NEVER ORDER THIS EXPENSIVE PIZZA FROM THIS RESTAURANT EVER AGAIN. I can’t tell you if the salad is good because we still don’t have utensils to eat it with.

I usually sit at the bar. The staff are very friendly, accomodating, and attentive. Very cozy atmosphere, live music is always a plus. I'm not even that keen on pizza generally--but I will come HERE. Perfect for a chill night. My go to is the 4 cheese without pepperoni with spinach, mushrooms, eggplant, walnuts, and hot honey. Thank me later. 😅

To my surprise it wasn’t busy. We were seated immediately. My card info was stolen and the new card hadn’t arrived. Unfortunately, they do not accept Apple Pay. Service was extremely good especially since it wasn’t nearly as packed as I’m used to. This time I had garlic bread, which was well worth the $11. And a salad which I enjoyed so much. This place never disappoints. My spouse and I shared, since we only had little cash on hand and we were both fairly full after.

Service, ambiance, decor, and pizzas were outstanding. It is a must place to visit. The dough/crust of the pizza was perfect and toppings, as simple as they were, were exquisite.

Pleasant staff and nice, cozy ambiance. The food was good but a tad bit too salty. The garlic bread was fresh and very tasty but, meatballs were the highlight for me 😍

Best pizza in Brooklyn! I love coming here. Having spent a good amount of time in Italy, I can honestly say this pizza taste authentic. My Italian friend who was born and raised in Italy is the one that introduced me to Barboncino. All the pizzas are great, you can’t go wrong! Salads are yummy too! I have to mention - service is amazing, the wine is good and the ambiance is a vibe in the best way.

Was there to get a takeout pizza for counting down at the park, but we were told it could be 10-15 min wait, so we went over to the bar to grab a Hot Toddy. OMG all the servers are so nice. I MEAN REALLY NICE, esp Doug ! We even got seated to have the first few bites of our pizza after we got it since we still have a bit of time ! The pizza is yum ( got artichoke white pizza ) , the place is packed and has a good vibe !

One of my favorite places to eat pizza. One of the few places I can get a clam pizza that's spot on all the time. Just wish the crust had less of a flop but still delicious!! Drinks are always spot on.

Wonderful service, super polite. Amazing food, and very nice ambience. Super affordable for NYC!! Gonna make this a regular spot from now on. ✨️💚🖤 Got a Margherita Pizza and an Affogatto. The Affogato was TO DIE FOR. Pizza had the perfect crispiness on the outside, perfect softness, the sauce was amazing. Espresso for the affogato was perfectly extracted, with maximum sweetness, and it made a perfectly delicious end to the meal.

A+ atmosphere and best neopolitan pizza in the area. Tried both red & white sauces and both were amazing. Romantic backyard and good date night spot.

Excellent pizza and a really nice setting and vibe. The consistency and texture of the crust was perfect. The sauce was balanced, tangy and a little sweet - and the toppings were perfectly flavored. Great brick oven flavor and venue overall. Loved it.

Went there for the first time last night. We had a group of 8 so we had to wait over an hour for a table but it was so worth it. Very comfortable and cozy in there, a very nice vibe. We had for apps the meatballs , garlic bread and they were delicious. The salads are big enough to share and everyonew enjoyed them. The wine and mixed cocktails were very good. Now for the pizza. We ordered a variety of pies to share and I am a pizza lover and they were all delicious. I liked them all. The wood fired oven gives the pies that distinctive taste and feel. The sauce they use is excellent. I recommend the soppressata piccante pie..also the meatball pie was awesome but they were all very good. The staff were wonderful. We enjoyed our time there very much and will be going back to try the other pies and apps.

Barboncino was great. We came drooling for pizza with honey and was so happy when it was hot honey! The pizza was great. I wish we got 2 but since we’re just two at the table, but maintained lol. The meatballs were so soft, they fell apart. Also shout out to Andrea our server, she was attentive and awesome.

Very nice place with food and drinks, decent portions. Budget : 2 pizzas, 1 beer and a coke. 70$ with tips and everything include.

Good pizza but nothing to rave about. Ordered the Margherita and Sopressata Picante (6 slices each). I preferred the Sopressata Picante over the Margherta, and added Mike’s hot honey on the side to drizzle on. The kick of the hot honey was a nice touch, but $3 for the side seems a bit much. Also, the pizzas were a bit too burnt for my liking.

This is a sentimental favorite on prime Franklin Avenue real estate that does great big salads, chic classic cocktails, and hot red and white pizzas. There are vegetarian toppings and meatier options, and they can also, for example, take the sausage off the cremini pie. I found a hit combo with a strong Negroni and the cherry clam on white cheese. Love the oven fired black scalding of the thin cooked dough. Inside and outside seating. Good date night or man-date.

Excellent all around. Relaxed space which was a pleasant respite for a rainy Sunday lunch while exploring Brooklyn. Solid kale caesar salad. Tasty margarita pizza. Nice spicy olive oil for dipping the crust. Special shout out for the music playlist and quality PSB bookshelf speaker set-up (whoever made that investment decision is an audiophile Saint).

There are a lot of good food choices on Franklin Ave but if you're in the mood for pizza, I highly suggest Barboncino. While on our way to the Botanical Garden, we thought we would stop in for an early lunch and were pleasantly surprised by some of best pizza I've had in NY. The thin crust struck that fine balance between crunch and chew. All the pies are perfectly sized for 2 people (or one super hungry person) and a nice blend of toppings without going overboard. Highly recommend the pear and gorgonzola - always a nice combination.

I love this pizza place, and I've been many times since it opened. The pizza here is outstanding. My fave is the arugula, adding prosciutto. The white bean and pesto salad is also quite good. Service here has always been great. Love this place.

Overall: expensive burned pizza. I was excited about getting pizza and after reviewing the restaurants nearby, we decided to give a Barboncino a try. We ordered the speck pizza and the artichoke pancetta pizza. It took some time for our order to come out ~15 minutes, and the result was not great: both pizzas were burnt, ingredients had no flavor, and the pizza itself was not remarkable. The highlight was the staff: our servers were funny, entertaining, and down to earth.
