I had heard a lot of good things about this place and yup, awesome espresso and nice people! There's so many good cafés in park slope, big and small, and this tiny, easy to miss cafe is one of those hidden in plain sight gems.

Community cafe since 2010. This is the best coffee in Brooklyn. The owner, Jen, is like a perfect dinner host. Artists, musicians and writers frequent this place. I love the newspapers, the ambience and the lattes. You always strike up a conversation with someone and it feels like home. I try to buy the coffee beans from here instead of at the grocery store to help support this small business.

I asked for a double espresso and what followed was a lovely discussion around espressos, how they served it and what would be the best fit for my order. This happened while the place was full of customers. Thank you for asking, and being gracious with your time!

Oat latte was great - strong, single shot was exactly what I was hoping for. A small shop providing takeout only right now - tables & chairs have tape on them, so no patrons at the moment. Felt like a true local shop, so show these guys some love.

My favorite coffee in the Slope. This place is tiny but so welcoming. I’m always jealous of people who get to linger over a latte while I run out the door with mine. Full of neighborhood characters and atmosphere. Tempting pastries, too. We buy our beans from here to take a piece of the place home with us.

Cafe Martin has the best coffee in the neighborhood. I'm a soldier for their americano and buy the "Mexico" or "Midnight Martin" beans for home as well. The staff are super-pros and give the coffeeshop a wonderful local feel.

Loved this coffee shop. Great coffee, very cozy spot, excellent service. I always prefer to support small business owners over bigger coaporate chains. Warm and intimate setting.

I had been eyeing this place for years as it’s next to my hair salon and always looked charming. I went in for a cortado which cost $5.50. It was undoubtedly the worst coffee I have ever had in my life. I am stunned at the cost for it. I don’t know if it was the service Friday afternoon but this is was the worst experience. I am truly disappointed in the service and quality of this coffee. Maybe the barista was not feeling up to making it. Unsatisfied customer.
