The food was good and so was the presentation. However, $17 for a burger and fries with no soda or a water for that matter,is a bit much. I had the Brooklyn Tree Burger

I got a root beer float to compliment my chicken schnitzel for dinner one evening. The place is fairly small but the food is great.

Would’ve got a better review if i received the food i paid for, but these people can’t handle group orders even if you pay separately. They dont value customers at all. So if you’re food for whatever reason is missing something (wrong side or wrong dish in general) understand in this place it is “your fault” not the staff, they will not replace your food if something is wrong with it. If you value customer service this isn’t for you. (Edit) to clarify because this business is ran on lies. I paid $18 for a burger with with sweet potato fries by myself not on a tab. A burger was brought out with regular fries which i did not take because i simply didn’t order it it was given to someone else separate from me. I mentioned clearly more than once that dish was not mine because i paid for “SWEET POTATO FRIES” i respectfully asked if i can just receive my burger after all i paid for it with my hard earned money after a long day. These people claimed it was my fault that the burger was given out to someone else when they brought out the wrong order and did not give me such order it was never given to me let alone was it what i paid for. After going back and forth explaining my side this “manager” proceeded to keep his attitude as if he wanted to fight me while making the burger. While another employee was arguing with me saying im wrong for wanting what i “PAID” for. Already these people are disrespectful and have no human decency for a young kid and took advantage, why would i accept any food given to me with the climate we living in you argued instead of listening to me I assume what you give me is tampered with i no longer want it. I gotta protect myself. These people are liars and run off no sense of respect or dignity. Full of pride and lack common sense.

Food was delicious! Staff was so incredibly kind. Service was quick and friendly. I’m so glad I stopped in! I got the BK Sammie, the cheese puffs, the pickled vegetables, the tomato soup, and the raspberry hibiscus tea. 10/10 recommend everything I tried. I’m so full and so happy.

Love this place and the people who work here. Not only are the people nice regardless what time of day you go, but they’ve made us believers in the falafel burger because theirs is to die for. Reasonably priced especially for the area with options for carnivores and vegan alike.

When meeting a friend in Brooklyn for a Brunch hang, we had 30 minutes to spare and grab a seat here at Brooklyn Tree. The Brooklyn Tree had a BOGO mimosa deal and I appreciated its cozy and casual atmosphere. If you want a nice, small spot to catch up with someone over a rustic and simple breakfast-this is the spot. They also offer smoothies, coffee and baked goods but their breakfast is wholesome and simple. Came by a second time and got the Full Breakfast. Ambience could only be improved by having light music

Visiting the Bushwick neighborhood in Brooklyn, NYC at noon on a Sunday and stumbled across this gem of a restaurant, The Brooklyn Tree. This place is wonderful. The menu is great, offering lunch and brunch. The atmosphere was perfect, offering both indoor and outdoor seating. We ordered the Brooklyn Tree Burger and the Meatloaf Sandwich, both with pesto fries. Everything was delicious. Additionally, the staff is extra friendly and helpful, coming out frequently to ensure our experience was the best it could be! If you are in the neighborhood, I highly recommend the Brooklyn Tree!

Great service and very tasty food! The Bloody Mary was so good! Update: liked it so much… came back two weeks later for brunch. Had the chicken schnitzel sandwich (buffalo style). It was so tasty and filling, but for me the kale salad was the star of the show, idk. 2x1 Bloody Mary or mimosas 🥂…. Again staff was so nice and the food was great!

Ordered from here. Got it delivered from Uber eats. They FORGOT THE BURGER. Just gave me some fries and random vegetables? Called to tell them and they told me they were closed so no burger at all and all they had to say was sorry...not cool. Super unprofessional and Annoying.

The food is spectacular. Their version of the home fries was different but so freaking tasty. The ambiance is cute. You order at the front and then they bring your food & beverages to your table. The have a buy one, get one free mimosa deal. They’ve got outdoor seating available and it is covered so even on rainy days, you got sit outside.

Their pulled pork plate and chicken schnitzel plate were both delicious, and the sides were amazing. Highly recommend the tomato soup - very creamy and full of flavor, and perfect for a slightly chillier day. The maple bacon milkshake was also pretty tasty; the savory mixed surprisingly well with the sweet.

Fresh basic salad options with good fermented veggies. Good service. $57 for lunch for 2: we ordered takeout the number 1 burger and beet burger, with fermented vegetables and slaw for sides, and a kale quinoa salad. Burgers are ok. Buns are English muffins. Burgers are small and unseasoned/under seasoned. The beet burger was not good (it is not seasoned at all) and tasted like just fiber.

Staff is friendly and food tastes great. I usually go with the Chicken Schnitzel on a platter with a side of kale salad and fries with buffalo sauce. Great spot in the neighborhood!

This is the only place that I found to have a cup of real deal tomatoes soup around my neighborhood. They have nice side orders to mix into soup, plus amazing pinacoladas adding fun to your day #imdoneeating

Best tomato soup ever and the grilled cheese was so so good. Unexpected ingredients, super fresh, delish, and yummy. Highly recommend this cute spot.

I appreciated the quick service. The pulled pork sandwich was a little dry and the butternut squash soup, bland. The guava and cheese turnover was tasty but not the freshest.

This place has become one of my favorites in bk. I stumbled upon this place online a few months ago and now order from here all the time. The food consistently tastes unbelievably fresh, the ingredients are obviously very high quality and when I get delivery everything always arrives super quickly (the drivers are always super friendly also). Ordered from here with my gf the other night and she said it was the best delivery meal she's ever had. Could not recommend more highly!! The mac n cheese is transformative.

One of the best burgers I've eat. We got quick service from very friendly staff and it was only a short wait to get our food.

I am disappointed about this salad. It no had quinoa, just like a few grains, I could count them. I couldn’t eat because they don’t send any fork. I think it is expensive. Volví a pedirla y otra vez no tenía quinoa y carísima.

Had a wonderful brunch at Brooklyn Tree this past weekend. The prices were spot on and the quality was top tier! We had the BoGo brunch drinks which were boozy and bright. In terms of food, we got the BK Sammie and the Strata. The bun on the BK Sammie was light and pillowy, the bechamel on the Strata was divine and did not weigh the dish down at all. Can I get a little hype for those pesto-parmesan potatoes! Holy moly! They were phenomenal. I cannot stress how delight this spot was and I am so excited to return and explore more of the menu! Truly fantastic!

The food is incredible and the staff here are very friendly. I've ordered here dozens of times. High quality home cooking is what you get every time. Well seasoned, well portioned, delivered hot and neat. Faves have to be the meatloaf and the veggie meatloaf. The soups are very tasty. Comfort food at its best! Thank you BK TREE!

YUMMY food — had the beet burger, grilled cheese, and cucumber tomato salad and recommend them all. This place is cute and has great vibes without trying to do something crazy with the decoration. Staff so sweet and welcoming

This has definitely been my new favorite spot. The food is really good!, my go to order is the Grilled Cheese with a side of Tomato Soup but I’ve had almost everything on the menu lol. Definitely a 10/10 and I always recommend!

Ordered on grubhub and food took a long time to come but it was delicious!! For 3 people we got the Cheesesteak with sweet potato fries, beet burger with regular fries, roasted pumpkin salad with avocado, Mac and cheese, side of slaw and bread pudding. Everything was so good and worth the wait! Would definitely order again.

Low key and amazing!!! Super nice staff. I’ve been here like 20 times and everyone working has been wonderful and food has always been great too. Tomato soup is a definite highlight but haven’t gone wrong on an order yet.

This is one of my favorite places in NYC. The food is top quality and they have delicious vegetarian options. They have a small i dirt area and a nice sized patio out front. The staff are always super friendly.

Can’t even explain how amazing everything tasted! It was so good I went back the next day too! On weekends, they do buy one get one free mimosas/bloody mary! Don’t be fooled by how simple this place looks! Definitely try their EVERYTHING!

This place is so good, I feel bad I inhaled the food before taking a pic. Everything we got was so delicious, flavorful and seasoned perfectly with generous portions. I got the strata plate, my friend got the chicken schnitzel. Staff was super sweet to us, even when I got there early to hang out while I waited for my friend. I gotta go back!

I had their chicken schnitzel which cames with 2 side. I got fries and soup. It's a breaded chicken cutlet. No real seasoning to speak of. It's fine but really not worth $20 IMO. I can probably squeeze two meals out of it.

Always pleased with every meal. Love this place. The sweet potato fries are the best.

I’ve been ordering from Brooklyn Tree for years and for a while it’s been consistently solid, comfort food. However ordered today and food quality was so disappointing, kale salad was hard and chewy and the mac and cheese was severely lacking flavor. Also found a hair in the Mac and cheese and a staple in salad :( So bummed to have had this experience, sharing this review in hopes they will address these issues

Do you want to be pleasantly surprised? Good. Well, I assure you that you will always want to return to The Brooklyn Tree. Please don't pass up the tomato soup.
