Love living walking distance from here! Every drink I’ve had so far has been fantastic, would highly recommend checking it out. Have also been visiting it for pickup during the pandemic. Go support this place!!

Overall rating: 5 ABSOLUTELY OBSESSED. I know it’s already high at 4.7, but this is the vibe. It a bit hard to get to, I know, I know. But it’s in a castle type & I am just in love. I can’t remember when it closes, but it’s definitely an after work vibe or Sunday afternoon date. I’m not sure what it’s like at night, but I also don’t think the hours go into that late. Highly recommend, highly recommend if you’re a whisky fan. A great spot to go solo and read a book. And afternoon date. A group of friends. One minor minor comment: if you go in the summer, be prepared for a lot of mosquitos! Not sure if it’s because of the location or what. But next time I go, I will be wearing a lot of bug spray.

Stopped by for a drink after Rooftop Reds and the bourbon seemed pretty good. It was also a weekend where Harlem Seafood Soul was also serving up friend macaroni balls and a few other items. All in all, not bad, but the drinks are pricey.

My favorite offering from this distillery is the peated bourbon. I just had to try a cocktail made with this particular bourbon. The Penicillin was nice.

At the entrance to the Brioklyn Navy Yard. Reserve a spot for a great, informative tour of the working distillery followed by a whiskey tasting. Reservations are a must! Afterwards, be sure and stop at The Gatehouse for whiskey or cocktails. Light fare is also served. Outdoor and indoor seating in the restored, castle-like gatehouse and a pleasant staff make for an enjoyable afternoon.

All the drinks were great and we had fast service. The day I went there was a DJ and it was very fun. It really looks smaller than what it is. The outside sitting area really is a plus.

Two of my friends got married here in a small ceremony in front of friends and family. They did a nice job of doing up the space for that. Excellent place to take photos, especially during golden hour. The place turned out to be a wonderful place for a party for those few nights in September when it doesn't rain. If you've got some Instax film, the staff will even lend you their camera so you can later piece together some moments from what was probably a great night.

Aesthetically this bar is a slice of heaven. The kings county alcohol is also superb. The bartender ruins the experience with her pouty entitled attitude, like she’s doing you a favor. Her pencillins are watered down, although she makes a proper Manhattan.

The Gatehouse Kings County's tasting room, located within the historic 1896 entrance to the Brooklyn Navy Yard, offers a refined and enjoyable tasting experience. Open for flights of their finest spirits, the atmosphere exudes charm and elegance. The setting is steeped in history, adding an extra layer of appeal to the visit. The selection of spirits is top-notch, with each sip delivering rich and complex flavors. Whether you're a connoisseur or a casual enthusiast, a visit to the Gatehouse is well worth it for a memorable tasting experience.

Had no idea this place existed until we walked by. What a gem! Good selection of bourbons and cocktails with an even better indoor vibe (think castle-like). Definitely will be back and highly recommend if you are looking for a local bourbon!

Great vibe. Small, great cocktails, awesome bathroom. You know how good the bathroom has to be to make the review? Really really good.

This small bar was quite empty when I visited. I sat down with a friend and got a flight of their whiskeys. They had a lot of distinct flavors and I really enjoyed their chocolate whiskey the most. Their cocktail list is also quite good.

Kaelen Ghandhi is a wonderful musician and the whole ambiance is great! You get to enjoy bourbon and live music all in a low key beautiful setting. If you want a chill love Friday night, this should be your go to place.

I loved this place. I was looking for.a place to relax for a bit waiting for a friend. This place had incredible service and cocktails. My bartender was really friendly and made a great cocktail. I would highly recommend this place for anyone who likes craft distilled beverages and nice cocktails. It is also bring your own food which I will have to do if I am ever in the area again.

We stopped in after visiting Rooftop Red's and were very glad we did! There was no crowd because of rainy weather that day, but the seating inside and outside were cute spaces. I ordered a flight and enjoyed the sample. But the cocktails are very tasteful for those who'd rather not drink straight whiskey.

I very much enjoyed spending an evening here. The whiskey flight is excellent, but if you can only have one thing, have the Manhattan, made with Little City Vermouth. Astounding.
