Very atmospheric place with a live jazz, quiet, busy, and loud. We have stopped there just for a drink and stay there as place was lots of fun. However, I wasn't much impressed with their drinks and food. We have ordered mussels and I can tell you that I have better ones. But that was compensated by the live jazz and atmosphere.

Felt like been in a time machine which took me back to early Twentieth century vibe. Great job on the decor, can't stop admiring the old ceiling fan. Music adds to this transition with great performance. Plenty of seating option, including an outdoor garden and basement. If you plan to be close to the band, you need to get a ticket, and its a bit louder and hard to have a conversation. Excellent service with friendly staff. Food and drinks were good and authentic. I tried their house Burger 🍔, yummy

Had a beautiful dinner in their semi outdoor courtyard! Oyster happy hour was a steal, and food was overall fantastic

They took care of me. They always have a live band playing jazz music… and Bartender’s got some experience. So yeah it’s a nice romantic place, reminds me of a ship with sailors… it’s a bar/restaurant with some outdoor space as well. :)

Unique, eclectic spot that has an old-time feel to it. I came here for a date night with my boyfriend. We were excited to listen to jazz music and try out the menu. While the jazz was excellent (much better than I’ve heard in Manhattan) the food was lackluster. My blackbean burger fell apart and was covered in too much mayonnaise. Our drinks were strong though! I had a frozen Paloma that was delicious. Overall, I would advise that you do come out for drinks and tapas AND jazz. Just maybe not that burger.

St. Mazie was wonderful. We bought tickets to the patio concert and sat out there for a few hours. The spanish band was excellent and kept the vibe going. I’m not usually surprised by waiters but the tall guy back there was on point. He managed to serve all the tables while treating each table with a relaxed and patient approach. The cocktails and food were good especially the vegan dishes. Near the end of the dinner we started having twigs from the overhanging plants rain on us but it was just part of the experience. Would absolutely come back!

A great date spot with a bar, indoor dining, and a large outdoor patio for dining too. Very similar to Dante in west village. Some nice drink specials for happy hour too.

Great dinner! The tickets were sold out for the jazz band but I booked my reservation for the dining room at 7 and we were seated in the front of the restaurant, so not right near the band but we still heard the great music. Food and drinks were great, the crispy potatoes appetizer were super yummy. Very crispy & came with a great aioli. We got the mussels - delicious and great portion size for the price! I like how the entrees are all under $25 - makes up for the $15 cocktails. I am knocking 1 star off because our service was kinda slow - we sat down at 7 and didn’t have a waiter come up to us for almost 15 min. The menu also said happy hour was until 7:30, and at 7:15 our waitress said her manager stopped HH early - kinda weird. Either way - great place for a date night. Very romantic and the ambience is great. I’d def come back and make sure to get tickets to the show!

I was visiting my friend in Williamsburg and wanted to go to a jazz club. Most of our spots are in Manhattan but luckily this spot was down the street. I recommend checking their schedule and making reservations ahead of time as this place was completely packed on a Sunday night. We got lucky to secure a few spots at the bar when other patrons left. Music, service and food was great. Highly recommend checking this spot out if you get a chance.

We got the 1/2 dozen oysters + a glass of bubble during the happy hours. The happy hour price is reasonable. The oysters are a bit small. We also got potatoes and pasta they were pretty good. Service was friendly and attentive. The backyard seating area is cute. We sat under the grape vine trellis. But I saw a huge rat 🐀 low-key crawling the trellis near the back wall... (It's not their false but it was horrifying...😭) Been here several times, sometime they charge $15 to sit indoor for the live music performance 🎶 Different performers every night depends on your luck. Usually they play jazz but my last time there was a solo country performance..

A great (but pricey) bar; it’s cozy, not too loud, there’s live music, and lots of seating! The bar staff and management are very kind and professional. I can’t wait to go back. Went on a Saturday night and everything was just right, seats at the bar, not over crowded. If you love absinthe, St. Mazie has some good ones in the menu (I’d recommend ordering with some ice, if you believe in that) Aside from this and the gorgeous downstairs private area… please note, a cocktail is $15…

Went to St Mazie after making a reservation on Resy for the dining room. We didn’t realize the dining room was the small front area and not by the jazz so beware! We ended up moving to the bar and the vibe much better. Drinks were good but wouldn’t recommend for food unless you’re just getting snacks. We got the Panzanella salad with confit chicken ($25) - it was a piece of grilled chicken with cucumber and cherry tomato salad on the side - extremely disappointing and not at all worth the $$. Cauliflower appetizer was good though. We ended up leaving and going somewhere else for dinner. Would go back again for drinks and music but skip for dinner.

love this place any night! had dinner here on a sunday and paid an extra $10 each to sit next to the band. great jazzy live music! wouldn’t recommend that area if you’re trying to chat / catch up with a friend because it’s loud but you can sit near the front at the bar or high tops as well. great menu for shareables and not too expensive - had a glass of wine, appetizer, and entree each and ticket for 100$ total.

Wow. What a special place! Somehow St Mazie has found some of the most talented jazz musicians in New York City to come and serenade us over delicious martinis and oysters. Hard to go wrong here.

I took my 96 y/o grandma to st mazies tonight to enjoy the live music and chill atmosphere. She was blown away by the incredibly talented musicians. I was blown away by the manager coming over and checking in on her to make sure she was comfortable and enjoying herself. Thank you for making tonight an experience she can’t wait to tell all her friends and the rest of the family about when she gets home!

What a fun place to have great dinner and listen to some fun swing music. It was just $10 a person to seat near the band and it was so worth it. I felt like I could be back in the 1920’s with the decor of the place, music and atmosphere. Very much loved our experience there.

Cute place with what looked like fun vibes inside, but not a great dining experience. We were seated out front and it smelled like urine at our table which we politely ignored because it was a special dinner on a Saturday night and we had no other seating choice. We ordered 2 plates of the truffle gnocchi, both arrived with several of the gnocchis grainy and undercooked, and the dish was overpowered by black pepper. Followed by a very fishy and mediocre bowl of Thai mussels…did not taste fresh and the broth was on the bland side. The chicken dish was just ok. The drinks were nice, but very small and expensive. I give it one star because the hostess was very nice, however I would not recommend this place for food at all.

Super cute outdoor area in the back! I 100% recommend making a reservation to score a seat in their back patio area as i imagine if fills up fast if you come at prime dining time. They have daily Happy Hour of which i enjoyed 6 oysters and a glass of their house bubbly for $14! Their mussels were also delicious. Service was attentive, fast, and reliable. The prices are also well worth what you get. Definitely check this place out!

Such a cute place! One show upstairs and another show downstairs. The musicians were fantastic and the basement space felt romantic. Food and drinks were on point. Service was pretty good too. Highly recommend!

Drinks were really great but the burger I got was probably the worst I’ve had in a very long time. Well done and drier than a desert and the potatoes were over cooked and dry. Even the desert we got was super dry cookies with little flavor. Music and cellar vibes are cool and everything is reasonably priced but man if that’s your last meal of the day it’s A letdown for sure.

food and drinks were pretty average (undercooked and small portions), and service was borderline rude (we had changed our reservation with the hostess who accepted the change, but the waitress threatened to move our party still). the ambiance was nice, but the live music didn’t line up with their schedule so we ended up only catching the first part of a set.

We had dinner and drinks a few weeks ago while visiting NYC. The food was very good as well as the service. The prices were also reasonable. There was a jazz trio playing music where we were seated in the lower level.

Romantic and cozy atmosphere, great music too! However… the food was really disappointing. The padron peppers were a little strange and quite hard, the burger was unfortunately one of the worst I’ve ever tasted. Dry and hard. The only decent thing was the mushroom risotto. Our waitress however was super kind, she offered us desserts— chocolate pudding and cheesecake, honestly they were probably the best dishes from the night. Lastly worth mentioning is that the host by the door was rude, we had called prior to make sure we were sat somewhere with no extra charge, when we walked in he had notified us that there’s an extra $10 per person because of the area we had booked. We explained that we called to make sure and he replies with “well I’m not the one who answered the phone then”.

I went to St Mazie this past Saturday, and really enjoyed it. My date and I got drinks and appetizers, and both of us had a good time. You could hear the music on the back patio, where we were sitting, and we had a great time enjoying a nice August summer night we would definitely come back.

Absolutely amazing venue and the atmosphere is out of this world. Such a great show! Also just want to say that the manager Hector was so accommodating!! We took my dad out here for his birthday and because he’s on dialysis, he has very strict dietary restrictions and Hector went above and beyond to make sure he was taken care of!! Our waiter TJ was also so attentive and just a phenomenal server! We had such a great time and experience with the whole family! I would 100% recommend this place, if you’re looking for a good time with good food and great jazz music!

this place is amazing!! my friends and I had a reservation in the cellar and it was a lovely and intimate setting with great jazz music. their in house wines are also awesome and they have fantastic charcuterie options. if you’ve ever been to Tomi Jazz in midtown, it’s a similar vibe. I’ll definitely be back and I’ll be bringing my mom here when I show her the neighborhood!

The food was delicious (except the muscles though) and decently priced. The show was good and even sitting at the bar we had a perfect view. The negative was that the waiter was a bit impatient and was rushing us all the time.

What a wonderful hidden gem in Brooklyn! The live music was incredible, the atmosphere and ambience were perfect for date night. The food and the drinks were amazing. The Sage Mule is definitely a game changer. The crispy potatoes with the chipotle aioli were to die for! I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy classy live music in an intimate, romantic setting. Well done, St. Mazie!

I held a private event for 16 people in St. Mazie's backyard garden this past week and it was absolutely wonderful. It is a beautiful setting, the food and drinks were delicious, and the service was top notch. Everyone was extremely kind and easy to work with in the planning process and the day-of. We'll definitely be back soon!

One of my favorites restaurant/bars in NYC. They have phenomenal, eclectics live music (usually old fashioned styles), also a downstairs wine room style basement restaurant. Backyard too. Awesome atmosphere, great date spot.

Very charming jazz bar and restaurant. Stage side seating made for a perfect evening, with romantic atmosphere, nice food and strong cocktails. Plenty of vegetarian options on the menu! Dishes could be a bit more refined, but matched the setting well.

This place was amazing. Twice a week they do live music and the night we went they were playing live jazz. The band played a really nice set. The food was amazing. I had a cheeseburger and my boyfriend had the risotto. The drinks had the right amount of alcohol. it was a really enjoyable evening.

Came for a birthday dinner with a group of 8 and had a delightful time (we sat in the backyard). We did a few orders of the small plates to share and then ordered individual entrees. The ambiance is cozy and the music isn’t too loud. Everything tasted great from the food to the drinks. The Venice and Mazie Gimlet cocktails were the favorites. Our server Alexandria was super attentive and sweet. They also threw in a slice of cheesecake with a candle at no cost for the birthday boy. I will definitely be back!!
