I awoke today feeling some type of way what I heard and experienced last night. 4 men were mistreated and some what discriminated against by the bartender and owner. The bartender and owner did not seem phased on what the patrons were feeling and wanted them out of the business. Maybe it's because of the way they dressed? Or how they looked? But wrong is wrong and I was in shock. Couldn't even go into the place. Thank God they stopped me from going in. There's other places with a welcoming vibe. Discrimination should not be allowed in businesses or in general. #BLM

Nice place with great happy hour specials and very friendly staff. Checkout the Patio in the back. It's pretty and cozy.

I loved the space. The chicken sandwich was simple and tasty, and the bartenders are all great people. Coming here on a Friday right after work is a smart way to start your weekend. The place has a decent selection of beer, they have out outdoor patio (clutch), and it was so good I’m mentioning it a second time a really good chicken sandwich. 11/10 would go here again before summer is over, but heck I’ll be here in the winter too!

I finally came here for the first time and it was very nice. Nice bartender who doubled as the waiter (it was a slow time) we got the burger and chicken sandwich and both were very good. And I'm very picky about both, and they we're both good quality meat. The chicken was a bit spicy and the burger was fully cooked (most people ignore my request for well done) and tasted like it was actually made fresh on a grill. They have a limited menu but it covered enough options and had a few brunch like items on the lunch menu. Nice atmosphere and I'll have to check out the back yard in the nicer weather. A bit pricey but I guess it matches the quality, I'll still go back.

This place was freaking great! My family and I were wandering around Brooklyn one night, trying to catch a bite to eat and stumbled upon this bar. Little did we know that they had great food and a really cool backyard for seating. The staff was very friendly and kind and the service was fast. If I'm ever back in the area, I will definitely have to stop by!

I just adore this place! Especially when there's this one bartender working on Monday nights. She's the best. Also the fries are good.

Came here for brunch (hungover). The food was solid nothing you would be wowed by but solid bar food. Service was good as well. The playlist was a little off that day but I guess that’s subjective.

Wow talk about need to update your menu people! What a rip off. How are you aiming to serve customers over priced drinks and food that are so far from what it should be. What happened to customer service and good food delicious!

We hosted the night before our wedding here in October. We originally reserved the outdoor patio but unfortunately it was a literally torrential downpour. They welcomed us and our 30+ inside with open arms and gave us tables to stand around and mingle. They were so kind and wonderful to work with. Would definitely host another event with them again.

Crispy Bahn mi chicken sandwich was tasty. A little spicy for the average person, but then again, that seems to be a food trend this past few years. I also got soy ginger wings. A great flavor profile. For sure pair the proper drink so you get all that goodness going down. Weren't the best inner seasoning but FOR sure not worst. I would get again if not getting a burger or something. Bartender on the early shift seemed very chill and straight forward. I would definitely say they know their stuff

The sunny atmosphere and whimsical name of this bar reflect the experience. The bartenders and staff are super kind and accommodating. The drinks are great. Oftentimes they’re playing indie rock from the ’06 - ’14 golden era, which makes my little indie sleaze millennial heart happy. I recently tried their chicken sandwich and fries: 5 stars ladies and gentleman. Exactly what I was craving. Also, the back deck of Golden Years completely transports you out of the city, and into a small town backyard. We actually heard a freaking bird chirp back there. What are the odds.

Solid food. Fried chicken sandwich and the golden burger both great choices. Brunch drink specials were great

I’ve been coming to golden years for a while now and I realized how magical this place is. From the food to the drinks to the incredible staff that have been so caring and understanding thank you guys for risking your lives to help others everyone that works here is incredible the atmosphere is very chill and everyone that comes in is welcoming i definitely recommend golden years if you ever had a hard day at work and you would like a chill setting to sooth your soul this is the place.

Only ordered drinks: Lavender Haze and a Bloody Mary. Lavender Haze was good (7/10) but Bloody Mary was served with olives/mix/vodka in a glass full of ice, not shaken or mixed. It was not really worth the price for how little drink there was. Bartender was friendly and attentive.

Good vibes! Burgers are ok but nothing amazing.

Our new found favorite low key bar. Staff is amazing (Maddie & Riley thank you!). Food is delicious, like really good…like better than nearby restaurants. Anyways, friendly crowd—but not crowded. Swing by for one of the best spritz you’ve had.

Great bar with a cute patio. Came here for a friend’s birthday get together and the music was great and the vibes were right.

Came here for a drink before going out to dinner with some friends and can say the bartenders are wonderful and make some great cocktails. Got one cocktail off the menu (the spicy margarita) and another that the bartender made up on the spot, both were delicious. I really hope they add that smoky/cherry old fashion to the menu in the future! Next time we’ll be trying out their burger!

I really like Golden years… simple menu, great happy hour, really nice outdoor patio in the back, quality service and staff..What you see is what you get kind a place.

Ducked in for a quick drink on a Friday night. Enjoyed the energy but it can definitely get busy late on the weekends. Good selection of specialty cocktails and decent draft list. The highlight is probably the large backyard space.
