Listen! My birthday weekend begins with this spot and I ENJOYED myself!!! Bottomless and amazing music ! This is literally a gem ! The food was tasty and down right delicious! I was supposed to eat at another place but this place was soooo lively. I asked Jay he was the server and stopped and said the kitchen is amazing. I sat at the bar and it was amazing. It felt like I was in a movie everyone was loud and laughing and sooo much good food floating by ! The server was great and all the staff had a Smile on there face. He asked me about allergies and then helped me build my plate. Fried chicken bone in and mashed potatoes with bbq sauce and I guess vegetables ??? I don’t know bcuz all I wanted was the Max & cheese ! It was soooo hot fresh from the oven Then s’mores waffle Done …. I can die happy So afffordable so great a real local restaurant with real food and real people

Great Food, Great Drinks & Great music! Me and my partner were in the area and decided to get food on a nice Sunday Afternoon after playing tennis..so we were hungry. We literally were just walking down the avenue looking for a place/menu that would catch our eye. We originally saw a spot on the same block but double backed to this restaurant due to the lively music and people outdoor. We decided to stay inside so we can really get the vibes of the music. They have such an extensive drink menu but we decided to keep things light and go for the mimosas. They have a great deal 2 for 12 or you can go bottomless for 90 minutes. The flavors are pink guava, passion fruit and mango. I tried all three and this are the best tasting mimosas I’ve had in awhile. Also, I felt a bit tipsy after the 1st drink so tread lightly . So we decided to get some appetizers— the Sweet Chili wings and the fried deviled eggs. The eggs blew us away! So much so that we ordered another plate instead of getting the meal. Huge portions so we were surprisingly full. I’d definitely come back here if I’m ever in the area. The staff were really nice and I was dancing in my seat the whole time!

I love the energy and atmosphere in here!! The DJ is fantastic and was playing hits from different decades. All of the servers are very kind and the food is very fresh! The drinks are yummy too. It’s definitely worth the price, and experience.

Cute little spot to grab a quick brunch. Service was good. Rum punch actually taste like a rum punch which is a plus. Chicken was nicely seasoned, for me at least. My friend though it was a bit on the salty side. Waffles nice and light, not dense and heavy. You have the option of half and half or regular waffles. My other friend ordered the steak. He thought the portion was small because he was still hungry after he was done. Plus I think the steak was only able to be cooked medium or medium well because of the kind of steak if I’m not mistaken. Overall I don’t mind trying this place out again.

It was my first time here. As a West Indian, I was happy to find a place that fused Caribbean foods. The food is absolutely to die for. The ambiance and the service was spot on...excellent even. I highly recommend this experience. Also, please try their Toffee Cake. It's delectable.

I ordered my food on DoorDash and was not happy with the results. My cornbread is burnt with no honey butter. I ordered the beignets and they’re missing the caramel sauce. The egg rolls did not come with the sweet chili sauce either. Highly disappointed with what I got for the amount I spent.

The girls and I got together to get brunch and celebrate my birthday. When we arrived I parked on the street nearby. I walked in and seen my friends. The restaurant was small but cute. Gia was our server and she was great. I ordered the shrimp and grits and it was good but not enough. My friend said her catfish was salty. The wine I had was good and the DJ was poppin. It was an absolute good time and I would definitely go back.

I’m late with this post but, better late than never. I came here for black restaurant week in June was greeted by the waitress it was packed. I believe someone had a party when I was there. I didn’t have no reservations just simply did a walk-in. My friend and I had to wait a few minutes to get seated due to it being packed. So once we got seated we waited for the waitress to approach us what we wanted. It took her about 10-15 minutes to just get our drink order in. She finally came and took our drink order and we requested hookah and I ordered the jerk chicken. She came back with our drinks 15-20 minutes later. I kid you not my friend and I needed another round of drinks mind you we were trying to rush to order our drinks before the drink special ends at 7. She came and we were able to get the drink special just in time because I was looking at the time and it was 6:58 and she made sure we were able to pay the drink special menu price. The waitress also told me that the jerk chicken would take a while due to a lot of clients at this restaurant at that time which is not an issue long as you communicate with me. I am so glad I waited because the jerk chicken did not disappoint AT ALL!!! It was so flavorful and the seasoning was AMAZING!!! Taste buds were going through the roof!!!!! I also had fries with the jerk chicken. The hookah was wayyyyy too strong for me I could barely smoke it, it was so strong. I’m unsure what the waitress brought to my friend and I to sit the hookah on but it was pretty cool. It’s in the video posted. Would I recommend yes for take out but for dine in no. Food: 9/10 Service: 3/10 Hookah: 2/10

I HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THIS RESTAURANT!!! Especially the brunch on the weekends that give a grown and sexy vibe. They have a live DJ that had the place jamming while he played R&B, Afrobeats, and Reggae. Perfect for going out with friends or a significant other. I recommend getting the bottomless rum punch, although one rum punch is really all you need it's strong but tasty. On the brunch menu I had the chicken and waffles & the steak and eggs. Both were good portions and flavorful. The waffles were soft and I liked that they gave you the option of what pieces/type of meat you want for the chicken and waffles. The catfish was finger licking good - be careful for the Guyanese pepper sauce that accompanies it if you are not use to spicy sauces. The seasoning of everything I ate was the perfect amount, everything tasted like my grandma was in the kitchen. I also liked that they had a lamp light system on every table - instead of waving your waiter down you can simply change the light on the lamp and based on the color you choose you will be letting your waiter know you need attention, service or the bill. I really liked that added element. The host and waiters are sweet and down to earth as well. They also have a photo op spot by the bathroom that you have to check and snap some Instagram content in-front of. Overall just a great time. I can't wait to go back and try their dinner menu. You should definitely check out this black owned establishment!

This place was lit! I came for brunch and that is how you brunch forreal! The music was on point but the DJ didn’t juggle to well. They have bottomless mimosa’s that get you drunk on the second round for sure. The food was great too! Chicken well seasoned with fresh fruit. The downside is it’s a very small location so when it’s packed it is packed! But the food and vibes is definitely worth it. Will return again!

Great food, great music and it was surely a vibe. I don't smoke hookah but that was available. Some drinks are discounted during happy hour. Tuesdays is game night which is cool and fun. They have late hours on the weekend. I will definitely be back with my husband. I love to support Black owned businesses.

Went to Savvy Bistro on Sunday for brunch with a few friends and was very satisfied with the food and service. The chicken and waffles was one of the best I've had. Bottomless mimosas was on point Andrew the bartender did his thang. One downside is that we couldn't hear the music from outside a little speaker to enjoy the vibes would be nice. Big S/O to our waiter Jean he's so kind and attended to our needs will definitely visit again.

✺ Customer service: 9/10 - the lady sitting near the door was extremely kind and welcoming and they did a great job of responding to an email correspondence we had. Our server seemed less kind, but not rude ✺ Value/ food: 8.5/10 - I got the cod fish bake which was okay, but the rest of the food looked delicious! ✺ Glows: very kind host (or maybe owner, I'm unsure), good music, the restaurant did a great job of accommodating our large group, which ended up being smaller than expected at the end of the day, the drinks were delicious as well ✺ Lows: Our server could have appeared a little bit less annoyed, but she was not mean at all - do keep in mind there is an auto gratuity, but it was about the amount we were going to tip anyways so it was not a problem.

We went as a party of 2 for the Saturday brunch. It was great. The food, service and music were all a vibe! The rum punch took me straight to Jamaica. Our server was amazing, she let us taste the piña colada because it was a little runny at the moment but the flavor didn’t miss. The star of the meal hands down were the catfish bites. It came with scotch bonnet & sweet chili sauce to dip but it was perfectly seasoned on its own.

Food was delicious. Had the catfish bites, red velvet waffles and the shrimp with grits. I asked them to fry my shrimp and they accommodated. The shrimp were a little over seasoned but mixed in with the grits they were great and I asked for the adjustment so that’s on me, but I think they should add in the fried option moving forward and just adjust the ingredients because it was the perfect texture and cooked well. The catfish comes with a side of pepper sauce. Very yummy. We sat outside because the inside was completely booked. It was a complete Sunday brunch vibe with a DJ. The outside area has some sort of air blowing and speakers so you aren’t hot and you feel like you are apart of the turn up inside. I had a coconut mango margarita, also not on the menu but they put it together and it was great!

Listen to me when I say that Savvy is a TEN OUT OF TEN, Ok! Lavina & Julian’s service was amazing. They were attentive, kind, hospitable and knowledgeable of the menu. We came for Sunday brunch and EVERYTHING we ordered was fresh and flavorful… kudos to the chef! And the music and vibes were everything. I’ll definitely be returning.

The atmosphere was so nice. The customer see was 10/10. I had the Mac and cheese and short rib 10/10, the Mac and cheese was cheesy. Had the mango margarita, it was good serving and strong enough. My waitress was “NIKKI” she was very nice and always made sure we were okay, gave us mimosas at the end!!

I came here for a meetup with friends and I left completely underwhelmed. I may be a bit more discerning because my background is hospitality. So if you have a refined palette this is for you because i wish someone told me. We went for brunch and the food and atmosphere was so mediocre. The manager that was outside was rude and left a bad taste in my mouth before I even entered the establishment. Upon entering the establishment around 4pm, the whole place reeked of stale alcohol and sweat(akin to how a club smells at closing time), that was another turnoff. The tables are grouped too close together. Post COVID a lot of restaurants aren’t even doing that so it’s a really tacky out of date practice especially because this place also utilizes 3 outdoor dining spaces! The hookah smoke in an enclosed restaurant was absolutely too much! It was disgusting. The AC was barely working that day so the poor servers were sweating like pigs and so we’re we! I know places do this in a bid to get you to buy more drinks but BE FOR REAL! It summer…fix the AC. I know this is a party brunch spot but the music was ridiculously loud and the server could barely hear us. Now the most important! The food was absolutely disgusting and subpar. The cook(s) and owners should be ashamed. Everyone at my table either hated the food or was for the least disappointed in what they were served. The vegan sausage looks like seasoned TVP and in the age of beyond and impossible breakfast sausage offerings, that’s completely unacceptable. As a cook the first thing you learn to make are mother sauces and eggs…why were my eggs burnt? Like my god..not even the eggs were made right? Then the French toast on the same platter was burnt and I sent it back only for them the remake the French toast and not the eggs. The cook didn’t even move my fork and other little scraps on my plate. They just put the new French toast back on the plate on top of the same old fork and sent back out without replating. After that I just was DONE. There’s much better offerings in the neighborhood if you’re in the mood for Caribbean fare so if you’re looking for actual skill and preparation in the kitchen then this ain’t it. Hopefully they get it together but they may not think it’s a problem because they’re usually crowded. So I would eat elsewhere if you insist on coming for vibes and drinks.

18% Gratuity added to all bills. Dj is cool. The shrimp they use for the tacos are clearly farm raised and not fresh. Jerk sauce for wings was okay (from what my friend told me) but I had hair on every one of my 6 pieces. My drink was great. Personally would not go back.

Just left from there vibes were cool, first time at this location, it's on the smaller side but that's okay. I knocked down a star only because every drink my date ordered they didn't have and he wasn't a fan of his guava bbq chicken he had was pretty overcooked, his chili plantains was pretty good though. Now for my experience I had a Cool Breeze & Love Story my food tasted really good I decided to try the stuffed chicken w/spinach & parm cheese, asparagus & mash potatoes, it was delicious. I ordered a hookah that lasted an hour which was a plus too. Desert of the beignets not really my style but they were fluffy & warm. I would recommend & may come again.

I met up with high school friends, I haven't seen in a very long time, and we had a blast. It was 11 of us who dined at Savvy, all for the first time. First, I must give a shout out to our server -- Nicky. She was super awesome!!! Her professionalism and friendly demeanor were unique qualities that you don't see in many servers. Normally, people just do their jobs, but she seemed to enjoy it, and we felt her energy. Second, the food was awesomely delicious 😋. We all ordered something different, and everything was so good. Compliments to the Chef! It was a fantastic night filled with good food, good music, good drinks, and just plain awesomeness 😊 😁 . I can't wait to Brunch here!!! 😋

Awesome Awesome Awesome My family had an amazing time. We were late, and they were so accommodating and just treated us so well. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was superb, the music was a hit after hit. Queen “Vicky” our waitress was just off the chain. High energy. Joseph the host was incredible dressed and very supportive in my need to make it a moment for my brother. Dj Gregory Wilson was insane on the 808’s Support BLK

I found this place on Instagram and when I said they did not disappoint. Drinks was great and strong, them Coconut sweet shrimp was delicious. Had to order it twice. I had the deviled eggs to start. New to me but very good. I loved the creamy filling it was well seasoned. For lunch I enjoyed the wings with fries and stole some of besties burger. It was worth it and so good! We had the triple shot combo with mimosas and got nicely tipsy. Loved it 🥰

Some friends and I went here for brunch to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday. They seated us quickly and we wound up having one of the outside booth structures to ourselves most of the time we were there (we had a child with us and the hostess recommended the booth so that the child wouldn’t be near other patrons that were smoking hookah etc). Our waitress Gia was lit - she made sure our bottomless Bellinis stayed bottomless and her and the staff made sure we had everything we needed. The food was so good - most of the table had chicken and waffles, and I got chicken and grits. Everything was well seasoned and came to the table at a good temperature. And their wings?! Baby!!! We’ve already decided we will be going here again soon!

Savvy Bistro is an absolute gem in the heart of Brooklyn! From the moment I walked in, I was blown away by the fantastic Caribbean music and the mouthwatering aroma of their delicious food. Speaking of food, it's a culinary Caribbean paradise here! Every dish was a burst of Caribbean flavors that transported me to the islands. The fried chicken and grits was a first for me and I was sketchy of the combo but😮‍💨😮‍💨. I had the chicken before so I knew it would work in my favor.I'm glad Gia recommend it to confirm my choice. The presentation was impeccable, and the taste even better. Ooo and the food came fast as well Extra plus But what truly made this dining experience exceptional was the impeccable service provided by Gia. She was not only friendly and welcoming but also incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. Gia's recommendations were spot-on, and her attention to detail ensured that every aspect of our meal was perfect. The Caribbean music playing in the background added an extra layer of authenticity to the atmosphere, making the evening even more enjoyable. Savvy Bistro is a must-visit for anyone looking for outstanding Caribbean cuisine and a dining and brunch experience to remember. Thank you, Gia, for making our brunch on a rainy day so memorable!
