Aroma Cafe is always a wonderful culinary experience. We have enjoyed Mario,s cooking every week for many years. He never ceases to amaze us with his wonderful food.

Mario is a FANTASTIC gentleman and a WONDERFUL chef. When I first stumbled into his wonderful little retreat of a suite, weary and hungry, there he was..alone and ready to serve me a late lunch. Happily, he helped me choose a sandwich that was perfect for me- a chicken sandwich, that he would FRESHLY fry RIGHT in front of my eyes....with peppers and onions....SO DELISH..and all while chatting me up, telling me stories, and asking me questions about my business as a newcomer to the building. I love returning here with clients and friends, or even for the quick carry-out! Mario has spent YEARS running his own VERY successful restaurant. Now, he blesses RR with his incredible skill, as a solo practitioner behind his stove at Aroma. Thank you Mario- we are blessed to have you!

A hidden gem! A cozy place with just a few tables, so if you are dining in, it is a good idea to call ahead and make a reservation. The food is absolutely delicious - authentic Italian food prepared by an authentic Italian chef, who is also the proprietor. I had a pasta primavera, which was like no pasta primavera i ever made: the herbs and spices perfectly balanced, the pasta al dente, and a bounty of fresh sautéed vegetables. Definitely coming back, not only for dining in, but for take out as well.

This is the one place I least expected for there to be a small Italian cafe. I was taken here for lunch, and I got to meet the chef, Mario. He is the only one who works at Aroma Cafe, but he manages to fill the whole room with joy single-handedly. He is one of the funniest guys I've ever met! This is indeed a very tiny place on the very top floor of an old office building, and there are only about four tables inside. Taking your food to-go is an option, though! I had a seafood bisque and an avocado chicken sandwich, and they were both delicious. You can have a fruit plate appetizer with fresh grapes, strawberries, pineapples, and cantaloupes. The food here is fresh, and the coffee is good, too! Definitely come!

I eat here once a week. Mario owns the establishment and does an excellent job with the dishes he creates. I look forward to dining here every week! He has an especially good chicken alfredo!

Our family of 11 were delighted with the attention of the chef and proprietor, Mario. He made us all feel as though we were in his home as he poured our wine and started the appetizers. Our food was absolutely a 5 star dining experience. We will definitely be going back soon. Thank you Mario!

Mario is absolutely awesome! My husband and I came for a personal dinner by Mario for our 12 year anniversary and I could go on and on about the service and excellent food we received. It went so above and beyond our expectations! We had several tastings, wonderful laughs and great stories from Mario- who served all roles- the chef, the entertainer, the waiter... He was amazing! He made our anniversary evening unforgettable especially during the difficult times of Covid-19. We will be back! I definitely want to come and order lunch as well from the cafe. Thank you Mario. I'm already planning my next visit. Mario the chef was very professional and gave great service. Everything tasted so fresh and taste delicious. I had the Seabass and it was cooked to perfection. This place is very intimate. Great for a small group celebration. You can bring your own wine. I can't wait to go back!

Aroma Cafe is the best place restaurant in Cleveland honestly. It's someday hidden away, so no one ever knows about it when I ask them, but I've recommended it to everyone I know as my favorite restaurant. Mario is friendly as can be, and he always makes sure that whoever I bring with me is well fed. Tons of food for a good price too!

a fun place to eat, although it is in a random building. not very big so the spacing between tables is a bit tight but it wasn't very busy when I went. I got the chicken alfredo which was a good portion size for the price ($12). I wanted to get a sandwich but was struggling to read the menu so I just went with something basic. maybe next time I'll try again. it's an interesting space and a good place to bring friends or family. consider eating here instead of another particular chain that is known for Italian food. not only are the prices better, but they do not have Mario.

If you’re up for an authentic Italian dinner/night, go visit Mario, and he will take you on a trip to Southern Italy. The music, the food, and the sunsets. Amazing experience. Gratzie, Mario! Torneremo presto!

I was taken as a guest and treated to a wonderful dining experience. The menu is planned out in advance and the food is absolutely wonderful. Mario the Chef/host is a wonderful story teller that helps make the experience of your culinary journey even more special. I can't believe that it's been there for over 8 years and I'd never heard of it. I can't wait to go back
