Very nice beach with everything you may need: free parking, BBQs, playground for all ages, skatepark, camping facilities, cafes, toilets. The beach itself is great - it's got shallow water which is awesome for little kids and there is a part of the beach for dog owners.

This beach is just amazing. If it’s a hot day and you’re bored and stuck inside, I recommend hopping in the car and traveling here, because it is just fun as far as the eye can see. From surfing, stand-up paddle boarding, building sand castles, flying kites and everything in between, this beach is a great destination that both tourists and locals should check out. Overall 5/5.

This beach is very good to play with children. Not too much big waves, shallow and beautiful beach.

It's a huge sandy beach. Great to spend time on a sunny day. There is a nice cafe next to the beach and showers all around. The greenery of the surrounding hills makes the beach even more beautiful. Waves aren't too huge and make it good and easier to get into the water. Enjoy your visit!

This was my favourite beach in this vicinity. It is patrolled with lifesavers & announcements. Has a cafe, toilets, outdoor shower, water refill station, cafe, picnic tables, playground, ice cream truck. has waves but not crazy like pearl beach which had big dips in the water (so close to the shore suddenly is deep after a step) not patrolled and seemed dangerous to swim. Ettalong beach was also nice but has no waves, very shallow clear water then seaweed after about 20m in, probably more suitable for kids.

One of the beautiful beaches at Central coast. Very much popular with locals for surfing and body boarding. The local surf Life group is amazing and do a regular watch during busy weekends so that makes this beach safe for kids to swim between the flags. They have a adjoining large park with shade and some huts have free BBQ.

This is a fantastic family beach as there is nice shallow water for the little ones to sit and play and waves further out for the bigger kids . Umina beach is also dog friendly, has on beach shower to wash off, toilet block and small amount of parking beach directly at beach .

Beautiful beach that stretches around the coastline. Surf lifesaving patrolled. Flagged swimming areas erected daily.

Our dogs love this beach. So much freedom. You get some cranky boomers walking the dog off leash beach being annoyed at all the dogs, but they're the minority. Good coffee at the surf club. Not the nicest water on the coast but well worth it to see so many happy doggos
