I'm here once a month minimum. Great flavors and variety. I like the idea of the bowls because you can definitely try multiple things without spending a lot. I do have to add a lil hot sauce 🌶 to mine to bring the heat. Don't be intimidated by Jamaican food. It's absolutely delicious at this great lil spot!! 👍

I've been following these fine folks on Instagram for a while (I suggest you do too). Finally made time to head out to their Old Brooklyn location and I'm happy I did. The place smells amazing as soon as you pull up. Menu was concise and easy to navigate. Food was hot and ready. Everything I had here was delicious and I'm looking forward to coming to for more. Highly recommend.

There is my receipt a 20 dollar bowl. Plus the 8 dollar bowl my son order. The 15 dollar’s is suppose to be for two extra pieces of oxtail i requested, the girl did inform me i had to pay extra i agree but 15 extra dollars and as you can see on the receipt she only noted one oxtail 15 dollar’s overcharged and i still tip her my change. First and last time there will not recommend either. Also remove the dry meat stop trying to sell the last bit of food if Is no good and it’s dry take it out respect your clients money and customer service

Just eat here. Great menu selection. Many lunch / dinners to choose from. Some are hot and zesty, some are not as spicy. Chef really knows his spice combos. Tasty food and very filling. Fast, friendly service.

Amazing! Been wanting to stop here for a while now and finally did .. now I'm asking myself what took so long! I ordered online and was early for pickup, and the gentleman behind the counter said no worries, he'll make it right than. Order was made quickly and staff was very nice and helpful. Food was absolutely amazing .. I can't wait to go back! I highly recommend Irie .. now on my list of favorite places to go.

I got lunch here once last week and twice this week. I was very pleasantly surprised at the portion I got for $12! And plantains were included. They're killing the competition in terms of "bang for your buck". Curry was good, jerk was good.might try Brown Stew today.

The food is amazing! The jerk chicken, curry chicken, and the stewed chicken! Not to mention the jerk chicken mac-n-cheese!! The place is clean and the employees are super friendly and professional! I eat here twice a week.

This place is next level!! I work across the street and look forward to the days when I “forget to bring my lunch” so I can pop over and get some Jerk chicken. I usually end up eating here once a week and it never seizes to amaze me. The flavors are always great and they are usually pretty generous with the portions. Do yourself a favor and get some Irie in your life!

Glad they opened this on the west side. Awesome food, good price. Jerk sauce is tasty, can be a little hot for people not used to spicy foods. If you like it hot, get extra sauce, it isn't too hot if you like it spicy.

This place is fantastic!!! Great food and friendly service. I'm vegetarian so I was not sure I'd be able to get much but there was plenty of options. Plantains were wonderful, got an extra side of them. Portions were large. Can't wait to go back

They gave me food poisoning, the chicken tasted funny a couple hours later it had me puking all of it up, the euclid location seems better to me..

Incredible food

I ordered 3 vegetarian meals... The portions were large.. however the food was very bland to be Jamaican food. The food tasted like my doctor called and said please don't put in salt in her food because she has high blood pressure. The Rasta pasta had some kick to it... but salt was absent in the thin sauce. As a fellow Jamican I wanted to enjoy this... sadly I was disappointed... I'll try again this again in the event this was an off day...let me know when mama is there...

The chicken patty didn't taste like Jamaican Patty and the plantains did not Cut and Fried the way Jamaican do there's sorry

Vegetarian I ordered the Curry Veggie Bowl with a side of plantains. LOVE 1) they CALLED me to confirm my order (because i had no idea what i was ordering and messed it all up) [ordered on doordash]. I really appreciate that they called to check and make sure i knew what i wanted. 2) this food is delicious! I worried it would be too spicy for my east european (bland) palate. It was spicy but not overwhelming! It wasnt simply hot - it was flavor packed. And the plantains were perfect! 3) absolutely will order again.

I'm so happy I finally tried this restaurant! I can't comment on the building or workers but I'm giving 5 stars and that's based on the food! We ordered thru Door Dash - I was in heaven eating my meal. I got the 3 Likkle Birds, omg flavor explosion in my mouth! So yummy! I also got the plantains and macaroni & cheese just to try and split it with my husband. The plantains - soOoO good! My husband got the Shrimp Pasta dish (can't remember the name) but he was very pleased and said it was very good. Can't wait to try more food from this restaurant, and very happy to support black owned businesses!

The jerk chicken is amazing! We ordered through DoorDash and we loved it! The cornbread is pretty good too. The cabbage is very tender and the Mac and cheese doesn’t disappoint. Probably one of my favorite take out places, I’ll get this over Chinese any day!

Ox tail tasted old and made me sooooo sick!!! No, you never spoke to me over the phone. I was definitely busy throwing up and feeling sick from your expired oxtail to call it in. It must've been another complaint you spoke to over the phone.

I ordered a double jerk chicken over rice bowl w/ mango salsa, black bean & corn salsa. Fountain drink included; $15 total. The chicken & rice were cooked perfectly. Why I gave 3 stars was because there was hardly any flavor. A touch of heat was about all I tasted. On fence about trying again.

We placed an office lunch order for delivery. Spent $80 and none of the Jerk Chicken Boxes or Oxtail Boxes came with cabbage. I called the restaurant to notify them and the girl said "ummm" and hung up on me and then proceeded to not answer the phone for my callback. I'm absolutely appalled that they would treat their customer like this. Mind you their menu is NOT cheap. $27 for a oxtail box. The least you could do is not hang up on your customers. Their website has no contact information for management. I highly suggest you never do delivery and pick up yourself and verify your order is correct before you leave the restaurant. Unfortunately for them we will no longer be a customer. Which is upsetting because our office orders from here atleast twice a month and we were considering catering for 30-50 people for our next branch meeting. But the customer service we received today there's no recovering from.

Disappointed they didn't honor the advertised menu. Was told I had to pay for toppings despite it says you get two. Said my cabbage and plantains are considered 2 toppings, yet when I asked would an extra topping of cabbage be 50 cents they answer was no $3.00 for a side. Clearly they need to change the signs to reflect their true prices. It this very competitive market for money... customer service is what pushes you to the top of my list when thinking of places of like to go eat!!

PERFECT. If I could give 10 stars, I would. The place was extremely nice and clean. I was greeted by two friendly faces. I explained that I wasn’t sure to get and the young lady walked me through the many choices of hot and fresh food. I got the curry box and it was DELICIOUS. Checking out the young lady was just so sweet. Definitely will be retuning!

This place is very refreshing for the Old Brooklyn area having being raised eating Caribbean style food my whole life. I come here on my lunch break and it is so much more refreshing than a slice of pizza or takeout. The prices are great and the customer service is extremely polite and welcoming. The space is efficient and colorful, a break from the gloomy landscape surrounding it. The food is fresh, and you can tell you are eating REAL food, being a vegetarian they accommodate quite well, although I wish Veggie Patties were available. While I have had more authentic Jamaican / Caribbean cuisine in my life, Irie does it in a commercial way that is so unique and makes so much sense! The staff offer a bright energy that coexists beautifully with the environment and theme of the entire restaurant. This is a place I look forward to seeing succeed. I highly recommend.

Traditional Jerk Chicken bowl is absolutely delicious. Our 2 kids got Curry Chicken bowls and loved them. The place is very clean and the staff was very nice and helpful. Great prices as well!!!

I've been here twice in one week, and my only complaint is with parking! Be sure to park in the Family Dollar if you're looking for parking over here. I'm new to Cleveland, and got a little confused on my first visit. However, this restaurant offers large portions, and authentic flavor. A box definitely took me 2 days to finish because the portions were so large. The cashier had a great personality, and made the experience flawless. The Jamaican Jerk chicken box is my favorite!

I had the best experience of trying Authentic Jamaican food at Irie Jamaican Kitchen. I have never had better. For starters when you walk in The staff greets you with a smile and a very nice hello. Today was my first time trying this restaurant. And I must say from the front end to the back end in the kitchen this is a great place to eat. The food was nice and hot and oh so good. The restaurant is very clean. The chef at this restaurant sure knows how to cook. I will become a regular from now on.

There are times I wish I could visit more often because I can't say enough how awesome this food is! I am all about the Rasta Pasta with jerk chicken. It's penne pasta, peppers, corn and onion cooked fresh from kitchen so it's a few minutes wait but so worth it! They then pour on the topping you choose. Be ready for the flood gates of flavor to open because even with that scotch bonnet pepper lingering in that sauce you won't want to stop eating it! Grab a side and cornbread and you are set for round two! Go visit either location, east or west side, check out the great menu of food they have, support this local business and their awesome staff, you won't be disappointed.

Delicious. The guy who served us today (12/9/20) was very knowledgeable and patient. First time here and it was 10/10 (from the curry chicken to the mac and cheese to the imported Jamaican soda), EVERYTHING was delicious!

I was really impressed with the food here. Very authentic. I had the jerk chicken bowl and my wife had the rasta pasta with shrimp. Both were delicious 😋. I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

During the pandemic, I have been pushing myself to try local neighborhood restaurants in lieu of chains. I've had some hits and some misses but today, I found gold with Irie Jamaican Kitchen. The food was amazing, their portions were generous, and their staff was very friendly. The best part is the restaurant is minutes from my office. I think it's safe to say that i'm going to become a regular.

I wanted to try something different and have wanted to try this place for a while, they did not disappoint! The food was great. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. I will definitely order food again.

The food was not at all good. They did not have sauce for the Rasta Pasta so that was a disappointment. Settled for rice with jerk chicken and shrimp bowl. The rice was bland and the shrimp was as well. Also ordered oxtails and rice bowl, it was over cooked and bland. We went between 1:30-2p so no reason to be overcooked and tasteless. My first time There and my last. I was hoping for better. Over $35.00 in the trash.

I'm not exaggerating when I say this is my favorite food in Cleveland. I get the Jerk Chicken Bowl. Employees are always attentive and efficient. Great portions for very reasonable prices (at least if you get chicken). I'm sure the other meat options are worth the extra money though!
