I wish they had 0 stars. This is the worst PO in Brooklyn. Stole my jewelry that I ordered. Made several complaints and reports. They keep saying resolved. Where?! I still haven’t got me package. What mailbox did you put it in? Clearly it wasn’t mines. Management is disrespectful and disgusting . Won’t answer calls and when you go up there refuses to come to the window. This is like the 4th complaint against them. All need to be fired and replaced.

I did not want to do this but as a public service i felt i had to...This is the WORST post office and 1 star is generous. My lost and missing packages (i have informed delivery so I know what is missing) added to rude and lackadaisical staff. The Inspector General should have the staff and management retrained if morale is this low, it does not benefit the community it serves. The last straw for me was today...the post office was supposed to open at 9am. After waiting in line since 8am I left at 9:30am while it was raining with the doors still closed and about 30 people waiting outside in line socially distancing. I hope someone sees this and makes an effort to retrain the staff on what professionalism, great customer service, punctuality...and honesty means in business! Have a great day everyone!!

Paid employees not trying to assist a soul…. Employees with low customer service or any negative attitude during the time that they’re clocked in. Should be evaluated. Thank God for artificial intelligence. Can’t wait to see this location closed or only kiosk. The humans on duty are useless.

The delivery practices of this particular post office are deplorable. What horrifies me are the lies that they share via the online tracking hub which state that “No secure location available to leave the package” OR saying they left a notice but none was ever left. I oftentimes have to go in person to pick up my packages 📦!!! Don’t even get me started on the carriers leaving my mail in my neighbor’s mailbox 📫 or vice versa. AWFUL AND HORRIFIC customer service.

By far the absolute worst post office in the area. The deliveries are always wrong and my packages are either left in the hallway of my apartment or sent to the wrong building. I’m sick and tired of making so many complaints and nothing is being done about it! Trying to call the number is a joke! I get the busy signal for 3 hours STRAIGHT! who runs this postal office!? GET NEW MANAGEMENT NOW AND TREAT YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD WITH RESPECT.

Once again the mail carrier left my package in front of my apartment door and as always my packages are stolen. I try to call this unprofessional ghetto post office and they either answer then hang up or never answer the phone. When I go in person the postal workers at the window are very nasty and always on their cell phones. This Saint John’s Post Office needs to be shutdown. I guess this is the treatment you get in the ghetto. It’s sad that I go to other neighborhoods to conduct my postal business. I’m treated much better than the post office in my neighborhood. It’s really sad a business is ran in such way.

My friend tried to pick up his package and not only did they send it back without calling or texting, they insulted him by saying "anxiety problems" under their breath while he was trying to simply speak. This is unacceptable, and I wouldn't recommend ever going to this post office. Additionally, on another occasion, he had entered with crutches due to his sprained ankle, and while he was struggling to get in / get settled, all the "employees" looked at him, and didn't even ask him if he needed assistance. Listen to all the negative reviews about this place, don't take any chances. This post office does not care about their customers, or their customers' packages.

I was so skeptical about this post office after reading the reviews. I had something overnight mailed to me and I wasn’t sure if I was going to get it. I walked up to the post office and saw a lady by the name of Stephanie Williams, who was super kind and helpful! She literally went back inside TWICE to check on my package for me. I was super shocked at the reviews because this lady went out her way. She didn’t have to do that for me at all. I would come back to this post office any day if she is available. Also, she wasn’t dropping off mail at my location it was another carrier. I really appreciate it and I hope someone acknowledges this because that was really nice of her.

The most incompetent band of idiots to have a federal job. No customer service, no class, no decorum, no ability to professionally articulate themselves. A real band of A1 losers. I would say avoid at all costs but their delivery people are lazy, and won't delivery your packages so you'll have no choice but show up and be disrespect by people who hate their job, are too inept to work somewhere else, but protected by the government cuz they "federal" employees.

I’ve had many unpleasant experiences here but most recently everyone was complaining about how long we’d been waiting and one of the workers said “damn that’s tough for y’all” and started cleaning her nails 💀💀💀

ZERO STARS mail carriers on the truck lie about to they attempted to deliver packages but don't even step foot on my porch, let not forget delivering my package to completely different addresses/Streets then when you call the post office the supervisor has an attitude and then talk about her workers but still doesn't solve the problem of the missing package unacceptable.

Id give it 0 stars if i could. Useless excuse for a post office. Packages never get delivered but get marked as such, they've lost important law documents i needed to sign for, i fully believe everyone else on here when they say its the post office stealing their mail. I go into manhattan to mail packages because any post office there is better than this garbage heap.

If they "attempt to deliver" your package and miss you, don't bother rescheduling another attempt because it will not happen. It will sit here and you'd best have 30-60 minutes free to stand in line to pick it up. I had a package returned to sender because I couldn't make it to pickup and they never even tried to redeliver. This place is absolutely terrible and there's not even anything to be done about it.

I’m done with this post office. The WORST USPS location in all of NYC. EVERY, and I do mean EVERY, time I’m expecting a larger package, it ends up sitting at this post office for a week until it’s finally delivered late. Whoever manages the delivery routes from this facility, really doesn’t want to put in the work at all. Anytime I have to visit in person to mail a package, the workers at the window are probably the rudest employees I’ve ever encountered hands down. They give short one word answers that don’t answer your question. When you press further, you get rolled eyes, big sighs, and nasty tone. Save yourself the drama, and go anywhere but here.

Edit:I dropped by the post office during the weekday to pick up my package, and they were courteous, fast, and knowledgeable. I suggest going in the weekday when they are not so busy. I average the two reviews to increase to 3 stars. Original review: I was home all day, looking at the door since I was expecting a large package. They said "Attempted delivery - no recipient" which is a blatant LIE, as I was sitting next to the door. They didn't even leave a notice on the door. Horrible.

Coming back to give credit when is due. Was outside a few minutes ago, and the mailman that delivers the packages in the truck pulled up, I asked if he had anything for my apartment, he said yes, gave me packages, and went inside the building to deliver the other one that he had for someone else. He must've brought it to their door, bc it wasn't in the hallway, GREAT JOB!

Worst carriers ever they always put packages in the wrong mail box and we never get our mail. When asked the carrier if he had any clue he told me it wasn’t his job to remember who’s box he put it in. Then said to oh well l hope someone is honest to give it back to you

Went to post office at 4:45 pm and was turned away along with others that had been in line before me. I was told that we had to be there by 4:30 and was to get a number or otherwise come back the next day. There was no signs up saying this, the floor hours are until 5pm.the post office three people inside and it wasn’t even 5pm. If the post offices so the postal woman says, not only this post office is not accepting customers after 4:30 without a number then put signs up and put it on the websites. Be responsible and inform customers. Thank you

During the mid of the pandemic the line was long and the doors were locked two people would be let in at a time but I just wanted to ask a question instead of standing on the line long line at the wrong post office. So I ask one of the next two people going in. Can I go ahead of you because I just want to ask a question. She was nice and said yes and I was at the wrong post office to pick a relocated package.

Just go automated. These people don’t work or delivery anything but pieces of paper. Nasty attitudes in the post office. Maybe needs more white people in the area to cancel this post office and start another. But let these people go like don’t send them no place else to ruin other post offices. Master post person should be ashamed of herself to even want to associated with such wretchedness and disgust. Can’t wait to move form this area.

If I could give zero stars, I would. They constantly say they attempted to deliver packages, and there was no secure location, but they don't even try. I've seen countless people complain about this at the location. I also know that to be true because I work from home, so I'm literally in my apt when they lie about the attempt being made. Mind you, I live less than 2 blocks away, so it seems like it would be simple to do their job. I have to go collect my own packages every time this happens and the agents inside are hit or miss. Don't go at 9 am, as they likely won't have even opened the gate yet. This picture is from the first week of March 2023 when I was in line outside until around 9:15, and the desk workers weren't ready to accommodate customers until 9:25. Also, double-check your packages. When I picked up my last one, the agent gave me someone else's package as well, and I didn't notice until later. The recipients name doesn't resemble mine, nor does any part of their address, so the level of service leaves much to be desired. This has frankly been the case for years, and our neighborhood deserves better - not to be marginalized like this.

Customer bought three supplements on my online store and it shows delivered and customer is asking money back saying not delivered. I want to know what happened with the package. Is it stolen? this is not ok! I am calling in and takes really a long time now to someone in that post office to get my call. Unfortunately I have to put a block on this area and never sell to this area again because we work hard to have our products delivered and customers happy.
