I’ve been a member for over a year. I was addressed about having my gym bag on the floor(I understand it’s the rule no problem) I noticed that other members (Caucasians) have their gym bags on the gym floor. Nothing was said to them. But was addressed to other races. Another member came to me and said he was addressed as well. I told manager Morgan About the other members having their bags. She never addressed them!! It’s actually sad that this is what’s happening at this location.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. They smile to greet me,say it's nice to see me, are attentive when I ask, and always send me off with a smile and see you next time. The gym is incredibly clean, especially the restroom. Always smells fresh. I feel comfortable and at home whenever I visit. Thank you☺️

This planet fitness is the best one! The staff make it a better experience because they are nice, extroverted, welcoming, and attentive. They always seem comfortable at their jobs like never looking overly stressed or upset and that makes me feel like management does a good job. I love patronizing places that treat employees well or that the employees seem to be at peace and able to do their jobs happily. anyway special shout out to this P fitty! Oh also its always spotless!

Usually doesn't smell as bad as any other pf. I'm sure that's a weird review, but it's a honest one. Needs more circulation, otherwise I like the equipment this gym has to offer !

You can always get a machine you want. Everyone is really good about wiping down their machines. I love the really big fan when I am on the elliptical. I love tanning as well. Great value for members.

Pros: great staff-very friendly. Convenient- 5 mins away. Great air circulation- enormous fans. Cons: A lot of equipment is either inoperable or not maintained well. Some members can be rude- occupying more than one piece of equipment by placing their water bottle on the seat of one and some other personal belonging on another. The water fountain has been without a filter for weeks ( no light indicating filter life). Action plan to improve: Get equipment repaired quickly! Don’t just stick a sign on a machine and think that’s good enough. Put more signs up that occupying more equipment than you’re actually using is unacceptable. Get a filter in the water fountain. I recently visited Rocky River P.F. and everything was in working order. Members are courteous. Maybe Ohio City P.F. can’t afford to maintain the facility?

Over all ok. I have seen better. The employees don't clean.they sit behind the front desk. They blast the fans but you can smell the oder. I never see them mopping the floors. Shall I go on..

The stuff of this branch “Planet Fitness” on Lorain street is rude specially that tall black man and the girl who works on weekends…!!! They are always very unhappy and really rude..!!! I saw many times how they were communicating to the customers in the “ PF”gym! I don’t recommend it to anyone..!!!

I’ve been coming here for 2 years and this is what I’ve noticed….. 11/18 TVs have been broken for MONTHS. Happens all the time over the two years I’ve been coming here. Water fountain is broken. Glass in parking spots. Yesterday I walked out and a full pizza was on the sidewalk entrance. I can’t make this up. My car was hit out in the lot. Directly in view of the camera. I was told by management to make a police report and only then could I review the footage. Made it that day. Came in the next day and asked to see who hit my car and took off. I had white scuff marks on my bumper so look for a white car parked near mine…. I was told that they couldn’t show me the tape bc it would put the other client of the gym at risk. That was told to me by the manager Morgan. Then she tells me she reviewed the tape and you can’t see anything bc a big WHITE work van was parked next to my car. My bumper had white streaks on it. Guess who hit me!?!?!? That’s all FACT. If you come to this place, don’t expect much. Complaints fall on deaf ears and nothing is ever fixed or resolved. I just asked the assistant manager Keith why the TVs have been broken for months and he told me LACK OF STAFF. “There is only two of us here today and the wind storm knocked out the power so I have to reset the TVs.” They have been broken and frozen on one image or blacked out for MONTHS. Most days you have grown men rapping and singing at full volume and dancing in the mirrors. Makes for a prison yard atmosphere. Very cozy!! Come here with very low expectations. As I type this, a woman is having a full blown volume 10 conversation on her phone on the treadmills. That happens daily. Nothing is ever said. Yours in suffering, A loyal $10/month customer

I just recently joined this gym. I was pleasantly surprised how well kept it is at all times. All the staff I have encountered with were friendly, professional, and very helpful!

Friendly staff. If you're still inside the building at closing time, they don't rush you out. (but I hurry and leave out of courtesy and respect.) Clean bathrooms, hot showers. Staff is approachable and helpful.

Was going for around 3 months with my girlfriend and her 18th birthday currently is not even 2 months away. We are just now getting problems about her being a minor and it makes no sense as to why it just became an issue. They didn’t even let us lift the day that they told us this and said that we can’t lift together until she is 18. There have been new issues every month including payments, so this is not the first time but definitely the worst and most unreasonable one. Went to this gym because it’s the closest and most convenient and nice one, but definitely not looking forward to going to this gym again.

Assistant manager Keith was a delight. He got me signed up through my insurance when another "manager" couldn't for some reason. I can't wait to get to work!

I'm traveling so I decided to review each PF I visit. Plenty of open equipment, clean and great music. The 30 min section needs a mirror to see the traffic light when working out facing the other direction. Bathroom was clean. Shower had good pressure and hot water. Could use a wall shelf in the changing area since it only had a stool. Helpful attendants. Overall great experience.

Love this planet fitness. Shawn is always so friendly and nice and always goes above and beyond to make me and even the guest I bring feel remembered and welcome. Keep up the great work!

Thought I would hate this place, but it’s alright! Been going here for about 3 months. Staff is really friendly and to me that’s a huge factor in what makes a gym good.

I started coming to this Ohio City location after having a membership to a high-end and expensive gym/club in the area. I can honestly say this Planet Fitness location is about as impressive as my prior club, and a quarter of the price. The staff is very nice and always attentive. No matter what time I attend, there is always someone cleaning the equipment. It's a very clean facility for being a public gym. I go in the mornings when it's typically not as crowded. But everyone seems to be very respectful of the equipment and I really enjoy coming here for my new home gym!

Staff always makes a point to say hello and goodbye and the facility is always clean and stocked. Appreciate them because I imagine this is one of the busiest inner city locations. Busy ain't easy. Thanks for all you do!

This is the best planet fitness I have ever visited!! It is so clean & organized, and the energy is amazing. Jeff the manager is so professional. You can tell his employees love him and the vibe is always so positive. I love this location so much I even switched it to my home gym! I’m so grateful for the staff and gym community here.

I've been going here on and off for a little over a year now. The mirror in the back corner of the gym needs to be cleaned regularly. Also, the corners of inside the gym could use some dusting or sweeping. The staff are nice though and all of the machines always work.

I like Planet Fitness as a whole, but the specific location in Ohio City is great. The staff are nice and the facilities are always clean.

Location is convenient and staff is polite to me. I also like the fact that they have newer machines and updated tanning beds compared to my original location. But due to the location this place is always on the busier side.

It's the worst pf. Weirdos working there and some strange dudes working out. I see why it wasn't any females in that gym. They keep it clean but uncomfortable. My last time ever at that location. Do yourself a favor and drive to the next pf location

There is a machine that's been broken for since l been going. I go because l had knee surgery. It's a clean establishment. Also, I wish there was a weigh scale. I do enjoy going there.

Just started at this location a couple weeks ago and so far so good. I definitely prefer coming in on weekends as the weekend staff are SO much nicer and more attentive. I still come in at least 3 days during the week and I know it’s busier but I’ve had a few instances where the week day staff honestly came off pretty rude or just straight up ignored me/ forgot about me while they were just talking about bs. Once I get a bad vibe from someone I’m unlikely to ask them for help again because it just gives me anxiety, so I hope all the week day staff aren’t like the 2 gentlemen who talk to me like I’m stupid or don’t acknowledge my existence at all when in need of assistance. I just wonder what happened to customer service nowadays, post-Covid ): other than that I’m having a good time I guess.

Staff here is incredibly friendly/helpful, and it definitely stands out compared to some other gyms I have been to in the past.

Just joined a few weeks ago. I go Uptown, Rocky River, & Lorain, something's always broken & there is a cacophony of high decibel music. I'm on the autism spectrum & had to buy noise cancelling headphones 😞

Initially I held reserves about using a planet fitness as my gym. I like doing free weight lifting with bars, and I knew PF only had machines and limited barbells. I decided to give it a try, and I’m happy I did. PF has all you need. The range of free weights is more than enough for doing my workouts that I used to do with bars. They have many varieties of cardio machines to get the workout started. I have never felt like there were not enough cardio machines. Users sometimes hoard the free weights, but it’s usually not too bad. I usually stay away from most of the workout machines, but those are available for many different muscle groups. Friendly staff, and they offer classes. A welcoming environment. Overall, I would say it’s a fantastic value and a great asset to have in the neighborhood.

It's a small gym but, convenient downtown Cleveland what more do you need to get cardio or a good pump.

I like this gym but a lot of things are broken. The water bottle fountain is still broken and it's incredibly difficult to fill up a water bottle with the drinking fountain faucet; not to mention just gross. The stetcher cage has a broken foot plate meaning it's basically not safe to stand on and the glute machine in the back constantly needs oiled. Actually getting things fixed and not just leaving a broken note for weeks or no warning that you're about to step on something that is broken would be a great START.

The staff is extremely helpful and very informative. The gym was visibly clean and not crowded. Looks like I'll have a great workout here...

It was very clean and well maintained. There was an elevator as well, something you don't see at most fitness places nowadays

Staff is always nice. No equipment is broken and if so, fixed quickly. Good amount of room to be able to lift without feeling on top of each other. Love this gym!

These workouts are tough, the trainers push you but in a motivating way, everyone is friendly, and the facilities are great. Hands down give this a 5 star rating!

Honestly it’s super packed, hardly ever any equipment available at normal times. Tanning beds are GROSS. So much so I canceled my whole membership. It’s clear they don’t replace the bulbs when they put me in a lay down it had layers of hair and dirt in the glass.

This gym is top notch! The gym is spacious and the staff is friendly. Clean equipment and locker rooms. It’s great! It’s extremely crowded after work hours, but it’s always good vibes in there

I love the crew. I’ve been coming to this location for about a year or longer now and everyone is so kind, personable, and holds me accountable for missing days!! That’s just a plus to making friends with the crew. They keep the place spotless, every day they scrub the equipment. If something is broken or out of use, it’s up and running the next 1-2 days. They’re always on top of things and know how to make everyone feel at home.

I am a senior citizen and my son encouraged me to join him for a workout. The workout was outstanding and we will be committing to at least twice a week . The facility had everything we needed and is very affordable. I am certain that this activity will improve my quality of health extremely and would encourage anyone to check it out.

Showers are not clean same spots from the days before in ladies Locker room area.I'm usually there around the same time everyday. The stars are here for the one consistent guy that works there !! Very nice tall gentlemen with ponytail sorry I forgot his name. He needs some help it is busy when I'm there- but the showers are disgusting

They pretty much changed the prices. It’s not the same as it used to be. $10 a month used to give you access to everything, but now it’s $27 to have access to everything, whether that’s the spa, use of other locations and just being able to bring a guest along. They do have all day passes, but they’re $10 each so yeaahhh… other than that, it’s a good comfortable place to work out. Everyone’s really friendly.

Spacious gym , clean environment , helpful friendly staff an always filled with great refreshments I love how they decorated for Halloween it’s so spooky an cool!!

The staff is friendly, kind and professional. The size of workout space, and equipment provided, is larger than most. The facility is well maintained and clean, w/ a great atmosphere. Its distance from my residence is close, avoiding any traffic, and it has a user friendly app.
