This is a nice little convenient place in a fantastic venue, well established, does quality work. But, perhaps so well established that acknowledging the existence and presense of a waiting customer while the help shoots nonsensical obnoxious chit chat with other customers who were already served and should bevon their way--is evidentally not important. Never does any establishment become too good to forget about exercising common courtesy...but it seems some customers are pandered to more than others. I actually find this place quite RUDE! Still, if you don't mind that, its otherwise a good place! Very retro experience.

I went to DeWitt’s to sell an engagement ring that I no longer wanted. Evan was great to work with and offered a very fair price for the deal. He offered more than the other jewelers I visited in the Cleveland area. Quick and easy transaction and treated great from the second we walked into the store. We bonded over of University of Michigan connection. I highly recommend visiting Evan for your jewelry needs.

What an amazing experience I had at this place. I mean so many options..whatever your looking for, you can find it there!! The quality and range of items CAN NOT be matched. I was looking for a few gifts and Jenna (& her husband) really went above and beyond. They were able to narrow it down for me and somehow knew exactly what was looking for, even though i didn't lol!!! They have THE BEST customer service. They wrapped the gifts for me, and really gave me useful info for future purchases. To top it all off they all thanked me and they meant it. It was just a really great experience and they just gained a lifelong customer. Thank you all so much.

My new go-to for all my jewelry needs! Mr. Dewitt is a no-nonsense type a dude, and makes you feel like he really knows his stuff, and he does. Gives a great and more-than-fair amount of money for pawns, and has an incredible selection of him and her diamond wedding bands. Good location in the revitalized Fifth Street Arcades between Euclid and Prospect.

Dewitt's is where I will always go if I need to sell jewelry. Long story short, I was stuck with an engagement ring and Dewitt's offered me almost twice as much as any other jeweler in the downtown area. Good, honest people for sure. Highly recommended.

Super rude! I went in to sell a 14kt diamond ring and he refused to even give me an offer! Was in the store less than a minute and he was kicking me out. I hate to pull the race card but definitely felt he was being racist

I went in today.I had a piece of jewelry that has been sitting for the longest. He is super sweet and easy to speak with.Female that works there is very nice as well. I was in and out. Very fast transaction. I would definitely recommend and I will go back if I ever needed anything else in the jewelry department.

The owner is very rude. You can tell he doesn’t sell anything based on his attitude, he barely acknowledged me. I came in to sell a Rolex, he barely looked at the watch, picked it up and dropped it down saying he wasn’t looking for ladies watches only men’s. I don’t recommend anyone coming to him, he’s bad business, terrible attitude.

The staff is knowledgeable and friendly and service is polite and professional and their products are of the highest quality. I ordered my wife's wedding ring to be custom made to my specifications to match her engagement ring and their product surpassed every expectation.

Evan is a clown. He is way over priced. Pretty much highway robbery. The worst part is he feels he is ENTITLED to rob you. photos with D list celebrities has definitely gotten to your head. Shalom

My fiancé and I went to probably over 10 jewelers trying to find the perfect ring... I would say I’m a little picky :) After searching online and seeing the positive reviews for Dewitts, I thought it was worth a shot to check this place out, and I’m so happy I did! Customer service was awesome, and the selection of unique jewelry is great. I found my perfect ring! I would recommend this place to anyone.

We had my wife's ring appraised. The owner, Evan Dewitt, and his staff (possibly family) are an engaging group. It was a trustworthy staff that explained everything in a very warm manner. In an industry where the customer must rely on the honesty and expertise of the staff, trust is critical. We will now use this shop for all our jewelry and watch business/repair.

Evan and his staff to the best they can out of the small shop they have to service all the client as best as they can. I’m a very patient person, when it was my turn I was taken care with water and great customer service overall. Once I had my selection of the chain I wanted I was taken care of with fair pricing and a smile. Every other review on here has to be either fake or just a poor experience that is out of the normal.
