Recently visited for brunch and thoroughly enjoyed my food. Me and my hubby both ordered the 24 Karat Gold Brioche French Toast and it was so delicious. I also ordered the Mississippi Catfish and hubby ordered the shrimp and grits. I definitely recommend ordering the mimosas. I opted for the bottomless option and the pineapple mimosa was so yummy!! Def a repeat brunch location

This place was amazing!!! Jessica the bartender is amazing and everybody is friendly and attentive. Food 10/10 chicken is too good and French toast. You won’t regret it!

Absolutely amazing! This place was a 10 minute walk from where we were staying for the weekend. We had Sunday morning Brunch. I had the chicken and waffles and let me tell you, I will never admit to my family but their chicken was better than my grandma's which says a lot. The service was amazing also. Everyone was helping out with orders, drink refills, bussing tables. We will certainly go back next time we visit Cleveland again.

The food was really good and flavorful! Highly recommend and I would definitely return to try other dishes. The staff was also amazing and very attentive! The prices were also great especially for the portion sizes!

The salmon croquettes were not good. Do not order. Dry. The shrimp and grits were amazing. The Bloody Mary was good. The french toast was yummy. The chorizo of biscuits and gravy was a nice twist.

Very clean! Everybody is super nice food was not super fast but it was made from scratch and it was delicious, so that is understandable. I just enjoyed mimosas while I waited. True brunch experience 😊🥂

The location is hard to get to due to construction but definitely give this restaurant a try. Food was cooked to order and the portions were big enough to share. I'll be back to try the sausage and gravy along with the shrimp n grits

We enjoyed our experience at brunch today. The service was really good & the atmosphere was warm and inviting, You can tell they take a lot of pride in the way that they present to their patrons. The food was really good! I truly enjoyed myself and will be back again.

Location do to construction makes this not so easy place for convenience..food was hot and fresh ..staff was amazing ..restrooms very clean .. only reason I will not return ..personal reasons I do not like the fact they automatically add 18% gratuity to the bill ..I honestly believe a tip should be left based on performance and dining experience and this place does not meet 18% by far !!! Nothing wrong with the food at all tasted great ..

Host/waitress was friendly and attentive. Ordered the Cajun Style Shrimp & Grits (blackened jumbo shrimp, chicken sausage, creamy grits). The food was immensely flavorful, definitely the best shrimp and grits I have ever had. Will recommend Double Nickel to my colleagues.

Double Nickel was recommended by a friend and we were pleasantly surprised by this little gem. When we walked in the ambience felt comfortable and urban with nice vibe. They were playing old school R&B, which I appreciated and loved the selection. Samantha was our server and assisted with recommendations. She was pleasant and timely with all requests and our order. We ordered 24k pancakes and Mississippi catfish and everything was very good. When we are in the area again, this will be our go to for breakfast.

My family took me here for a Birthday Brunch! It was 10 of us, we were seated 5 min after arrival. From the time that we walked in nothing but great hospitality! The food was absolutely amazing as well as the drinks! Order was correct, everything that we asked for came out promptly, hot and fresh! Kudos to Double Nickel, best brunch EVER!!!!! Thanks for making my birthday perfect!

This place does not disappoint! My husband and I drove up from Youngstown which is about an hour and 10 minutes and it was well worth it! We actually sent our son here over a month ago and recommended that he go to this restaurant and he told me" Mom you have to go". The food was amazing, delicious, and a touch of southern comfort! I had the salmon croquettes which were prepared to perfection. My husband had the chicken and waffles and the chicken was season to perfection as well ! The atmosphere inside the restaurant was electric,. The other patrons inside the restaurant were friendly. We were greeted with smiles upon entry by all the staff, as they were courteous, attentive, ana kind. We had such a great experience we had to talked with the restaurant manager Lydia to let her know; she was warm and very friendly! Double Nickel is a must go!!

If you follow my reviews you know I don't play. I haven't had this level of experience in a very, very long time. 6 STARS, 6 STARS, 6 STARS!!! The Service was excellent, the decor and environment was excellent, the food....OH THE FOOD, OH!! I have never had Catfish this good!!! If you know ANYONE or ANYWHERE they make biscuits and gravy better, TELL ME!! IM aon a hunt for good B&G and I found THE BEST!! More meat than gravy!!! Good color, flavor and consistency. I LOVE THIS PLACE!! Whenever I m in Cleveland I'm eating here!! I have never seen pancakes almost as big as a cake! Small menu but everything is done very well!!

Early breakfast this morning. Food was decent. But they charged me an extra $15 for no reason. Still can’t understand why. The gratuity is included in the check. I tipped the server an extra $10 she was nice and attentive. But the extra $15 is suspect. Manager was pretty stale in addressing the issue. Don’t know think I’ll go back. High quality brunch in Cleveland is very minimal …. I recommend SummerHouse , or Landmark Smokehouse best brunch in Cleveland

The food I had was delicious. But, it’s kinda downhill from there. It took close to 45 minutes to be served and just as long to get our food. Once they work out the kinks, I think it has potential as a breakfast spot. The menu is different and unique. And the server was nice but obviously overwhelmed.

Food was really good so I ordered some to go for my son. I’m glad I checked it before giving it to him there was an egg shell inside of the eggs. The lady that brought me my coffee was rude I asked for French vanilla creamer she said “we just ran out” and walked off before I could tell her I no longer wanted the coffee nor did she offer anything else however our sever was amazing and very sweet also be prepared to pay $20-$25 for parking.

All in all, this is a nice place to have a meal in downtown Cleveland. The food is tasty and well prepared. The service is timely and professional with a hint of that vibe you get from an African American establishment. It's just a vibe that was properly balanced here. The music was nice 90's Era R&B. The decor was nice, and the establishment was clean. I would visit again if the opportunity presents itself.

The manager and staff were a complete joy. The manager was personable and sweet. We were in from NYC and the food was so good we came back a second day for breakfast and she remembered us. She brought us our drinks immediately upon being seated and without even having to tell her. It's very rare you go to a restaurant where the staff is so accommodating and friendly. I would highly recommend this place and the food was absolutely delicious. The mango mimosa is to die for.

The service was good. The mimosa’s was great also. The food was pretty but unseasoned. My French toast was 3 inches thick. I did not enjoy it b/c it was a little under cooked. I wish they would have just cut it and made it into two separate pieces. The food came in a reasonable time and was hot. Gratuity is automatically added to your bill.

My friends and I had an awesome brunch here! The presentation of the food and beverages were lovely. We all had a nice variety of mimosas (peach, strawberry, mango, lemon drop and original), and each of our dishes (55 skillet, chicken and waffles, brioche french toast and 24k gold pancakes - with gold flakes and edible flowers) were delicious. The service was great, the atmosphere was welcoming, we definitely recommend this place and will dine here again. Thank you, friends!
