DO NOT STAY THERE!!! It is MANDATORY Valet parking and they destroy my new car!!! My bumper is misaligned were it was hit and there are scratches on my door. It's a third party service and all they can say is "we have to investigate!" My car is a 2021 with a little over 15,000 miles. I am livid!!!! They also LOST my friend's car keys the day before. We were trying to leave around 2pm and they literally did not find them until around 11:00pm. Good thing she was NOT catching a plane flight! I would also like to mention I selected the King Bed with Breakfast included for my one night stay only to find out for a total of approx. 280.00......breakfast was NOT included. Was that switch and bait???? Check your confirmation receipts.

New hotel. The area around the hotel is all under construction. Some roads and sidewalks ropes off. The physical hotel is clean and new and pleasant. My one complaint is the airport shuttle service. We called from the airport upon arrival and was told to expect a 45 minute wait! The hotel is 5 miles away! When the shuttle came some passengers were turned away. It was full. Only carries 10 passengers. For the return to the airport I checked with the desk. I was concerned about capacity due to our previous experience and inquired if there was a sign up sheet? They answered no. Was told the shuttle runs hourly. Hourly is not sufficient. We showed up 10 minutes early for the hourly shuttle. At 26 minutes past the hour we gave up and sought our own transportation. Disappointing and needs to be fixed.

This is a beautiful hotel. We stayed 2 nights prior to going on a cruise. They didn't get our hotel room reservations right, however, the staff was awesome. It was comfortable & clean. The cocktails at the bar were not good and quite overpriced. It's super convenient to the ports and only about 15 min drive to get on a cruise ship. They offer a breakfast buffet but we did not eat there.

Air conditioning in my room never got the room cooler than 71 degrees. Engineering was called up but they just said it was working correctly. Called down again after 1hr 30min of waiting to see if anything changes. I wasn't offered anything else but to send engineering again. Hotel shuttle is shared by the AC Hotel and only picks up on the hour. Checked out at 5:55am, went downstairs to the pickup point and the shuttle never came. The driver was called and he said he stopped by but that was a blatant lie. Ended up taking an Uber because this Marriott cannot be trusted to provide timely service.

Beware of the valet parking cartel. Despite having a large parking garage attached to the lobby, the hotel requires everyone to valet their car at $27 per night. This is very convenient for them since the nearby parking lots do not allow overnight parking. The breakfast in the lounge is good, but they start taking everything away at 9am, so come early. The rooms automatically get a -1 for having a clear bathroom door. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything in adjacent rooms.

Terrible experience, shower overflowed all over the floor, asked for a different room(room 916) and was told they were sold out which was understandable given the car show. Asked for a luggage rack, never received one, walked into the room and the floor was covered in fine white hair. Must have been some kind of animal there. Also, when we showed up our room was not ready despite showing up after check-in time. The pool was freezing. M club food was very limited. As a Bonvoy and American express member, I was very disappointed. Excellent location though.

It’s a prison, don’t forget your keys. Access into everything is key card. You’ll be walking a lot. If you need help definitely don’t use the phones at the elevators or in the ballroom. None work and ring to nothing. There is definitely a Barney Fife mentality with some Security. While in a ballroom for an hour or so, someone place freshly spray painted separators in the room when I was away. Upon arrival back to the room, I thought it was some type of sanitation spray for the room. While there another hour, I realized I was having trouble. When I called the hotel, no answers at their phones in the ballroom and nothing at the elevator phone. I had to google the number. The most they did was remove the sprayed items and give me a water. It wasn’t till the next day that I realized the swelling in my eyes and throat were from the fumes. I was too high from the fumes to think of asking for medical services. But now I realize, it should have been their job to follow through and even more so do an accident report. The only person who gave a consideration was the guy who gave me water and escorted me to check in. After he left, another security tried to persuade me to drive my van and park it in another location. I had to INSIST that I was feeling sick from the fumes and I was not in a state of mind to drive. Consider this my complaint Marriot. I’m sure you’ll find it all on your cameras IF you do an investigation.

This hotel is brand new and is very nice however there are sone concerns to an aware of. 1) Their parking is a rip off. You’ll see it’s a common thread of complaint here. They charge you to park in their parking lot daily. 2) I primarily stay in Hilton properties and I travel for work. When I travel the hotel is alway booked through or corporate travel site and the credit card is charged automatically. This hotel requires an additional credit card authorization form on file which is stupid if it’s pre-paid. This was never mentioned at the front desk, I was told the hold was for incidentals only. I checked out at 4 am to fly home and couldnt find a front desk agent so I left my key on the counter at the front desk: I get home to find a receipt in my email for a $652 charge on my personal card. I called the front desk and she said well we didn’t find the credit card authorization form when you checked in but it’s here we missed it, No show of empathy or any apologies for the error at all: In todays economic times $652 is a lot money to be held up while I wait for a refund. The lack of communication and apologies and lack of communicating at check in is my primary reason I’ll go back to my normal Hilton property when I’m in town, which is 2-3 time a month. I decided to try the new property to see if I’d enjoy it want to stay there again but my experienxe has changed my mind

The good: hotel is new, room was clean, tons of USB plugs all over, felt very bright and open and modern. Comfortable bed. The bad: AC didn't seem to do anything at all. Went to sleep with it set at 68 degrees and the temp reading 73, by the time we left the temp in the room had increased to 75, never cooled at all. The restaurant was the greatest disappointment by far. Drinks were good (if expensive, $14 to $18 each), service was great, but the food was shockingly bad for the price and location. It was all plated like a fancy restaurant, but tasted like cheap cafeteria food. $38 ribeye was ordered rare, but the grill marks were burnt in so hard the whole steak tasted burnt. It was also a poor quality cut, very tough with lots of grisly bits that ended up left on the plate. Wife had the $22 fried chicken meal, with veggies subbed for the mac and cheese. Chicken was very bland at best. Side portions were tiny overall, with a single carrot slice, inedible near-raw zucchini wedge, one broccoli floret, and a very small amount of sweet potato fries with the chicken. We were starving after our flight so we didn't make an issue out of it at the time, but we'd strongly recommend finding another place for dinner if you're staying at the Marriott. We assumed the Marriott name and the price point meant we'd be getting a luxury quality meal, but that definitely wasn't the case for us!

My business hosted an event in their third floor ballroom areas. The venue is perfect for a conference like atmosphere or a catered party. Everything was clean and the staff was helpful, polite and has a 5-star demeanor. We'll definitely keep having our annual event here.

I do not write a lot of reviews but this one deserved nothing less! My husband and 2 boys were on the 10th day of traveling back from out of the country and to say we were exhausted by the time we arrived was an understatement. We arrived at 10am in hopes of getting access to their pool to just take a nap and put our luggage somewhere safe. Ashley greeted us with the most pleasant and accommodating attitude. She was an absolute breath of fresh air! She gave us a day pass to the facility and got us into a room by 10:45am! I was beyond grateful! She scheduled our airport shuttle at 4:30am the next morning and made sure we were comfortable. Jorge at the pool was so very nice as well! The facility is brand new, had a DJ by the pool in the afternoon with a pop up bar with canned drinks. This hotel went beyond our expectations! Thank you again, Ashley for the "Fred Factor"! My family and I appreciated your kindness!

I usually don’t take the time out of my day to post reviews but this one unfortunately I cannot let go. To start of the only reason I’m giving them a 2 in service is because of the back end staff (parking attendant, cleaning crew and maintenance staff) who were superb. The front desk staff were not very friendly and when I asked for simple things that other Marriott properties have more than happily accommodated, this property will not as the excuse is that every property is different. I’m not sure if it is a south Florida thing but at every other property I’ve stayed in, Fl and other states, the front desk staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The room gets a 3. It is spacious and clean but the thermostat in the room will not go below 72 degrees. We are in Florida where it is hot and humid AF therefore I like my room to be at 70 when I sleep. I asked about this the first night and maintenance was sent up. I was told that it has a sensor and is automatic but it will not go below 72 degrees as it is controlled by the manager and cannot be changed. I find it extremely strange that a Marriott which is suppose to be a premium Bonvoy property restricts the A/C thermostat temperature but the property down the street (which is a sister Bonvoy property)where my coworker is staying has no said issue. I have to get up every hour or so to make sure the A/C kicks on because otherwise with the thermostat set at 72 it shuts off and won’t kick back on. This has been one of the most annoying, uncomfortable and frustrating experience I have had at a Marriott to date. Unless this is fixed I truly do not recommend staying here.

We did a daycation pass after we got off the cruise ship. Our flight wasn't till night. This hotel is in the middle of town. No beach in sight. The pool is on the roof top and it was so windy up there the pool had waves. Definitely not what we expected. The best part was the daybed we rent and the Bartender on the Roof top was great!!!

Location is perfect. Close to cruise terminal and airport. Walking distance to shopping and restaurants. The only issue was airport shuttle. We had an early flight out 5AM so we were really concerned about getting to the airport. We ask 6 different employees and were told 6 times the air port shuttle is 24/7 no worries. We were told by the front desk to be outside at 5 till 3 AM and we would be fine. We were outside at 2:45 AM to find out by another hotel guest that the shuttle did not run between 2-4 and the front desk called him a taxi. So off to the front desk and yes no shuttle between 2-4 she called us a taxi that we had to pay for. The only reason we chose to pay the higher price for the hotel was the free 24/7 shuttle. We could have payed a lot less at another hotel and made our own airport arrangements for a lot less.

Fantastic views, great coffee and tea selection, amazing upscale gym and pool area! I had a great time lounging about in the pool area after my workout. There's also a hotel Starbucks as well. Highly recommend!

New hotel. Restaurant is great. Drinks are really expensive, but the food is reasonable and really good. The gym is clean and well equipped. The room was clean and the walk-in showers are great! The location is walkable to food and shopping and is a short drive to the beach and airport. The only dings here are housekeeping was a bit sloppy. They forgot to finish the service and left items where I had left them. The following day I left them a bigger tip and a list of what needed done, and all was well, but that should not have been needed. The remote for the TV is dim witted and the TV lost signal when there was a storm nearby Also, the elevators are a bit confusing. All of this is minor. The hotel and the guest services staff are great and I look forward to coming back soon.

Beautiful hotel. I had a major migraine and I was so happy to be able to order four and have it delivered to my room. I could barely open my eyes I was in so much pain, I called the front desk and explained I was not able to come down and order in person. The receptionist took my order and brought it up. So happy. Thank you for helping me feel better.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel the day before we left for our cruise. This hotel was fabulous. We arrived extremely early (due to our flight) and I had called ahead to ask if they could store our luggage while we went to get some breakfast. We were pleasantly surprised that they already had a room ready so we could check in! The front desk provided this kind of excellent service the whole time we were there. The hotel is in walking distance of Dainia Point which has several shops and restaurants. It is a really nice area and we felt completely safe walking there. The hotel was also wonderful in making sure we got to the cruise port on time. When the shuttle we had reserved didn't show up on time, they used their airport shuttle to take us to the cruise port. Every staff member that we encountered gave us fabulous service. Thank you all for a great stay!

This newer hotel has an awesome meeting room area. The staff go above and beyond to ensure your event runs smoothly. The rooms are super nice. Location is up and coming so there is some construction but also tons if stores and restaurants nearby

Not usually a review writer but I visited this property for a corporate meeting. Amazing! Rooms are amazing, service… especially the bar restaurant. Great bar food when you are hangry after a flight .Book now, prices will go up once companies discover this property.

One of the softest hotel beds I've been in. Everything was super easy (parking, check-in, amenities, etc). The in-app chat was helpful with arranging a shuttle too. Would recommend.

I had a concern regarding the shuttle. The supervisor, Tishayla H., addressed my concern respectfully and professionally! I felt valued as a customer. The restaurant staff, Brad, and food were superb. The room was absolutely beautiful! First class service at this Marriott hotel.

Nice hotel. Great staff at valet, reception and the resturant / bar. The location, close to the airport is convenient. The complimentary shuttle is an added feature. There is a nearby shopping mall with upscale stores and some dining establishments. Breakfast at the hotel good but pricey. The host and servers are wonderful

Walking distance to a decent shopping area with restaurants. The outdoor seating and atmosphere at the shopping center was amazing. The hotel's outdoor area even though there was a decent amount of construction in the area was very serene. The rooms were very spacious with a pretty view of the city. The rainfall shower was so relaxing. The outdoor pool located on the 5th floor has a great view with chairs for lounging and catching some sun.

Opened late 2021 so very up to date interior and rooms. The M Club is on the lobby level, as is the bar and restaurant. Very convenient to the Ft Lauderdale airport but seemed far enough away to not have a lot of takeoff and landing noises. Was driving in with rental car so not sure if they have an airport shuttle. Front desk staff was basically one person on check-in and check-out so maybe still trying to ramp up the staff. But staff were very friendly and helpful. They share an outdoor pool with the Aloft hotel next door. Steaming channels available on the large TV.

Rooms were nice and clean. Bed was comfortable. Main restaurant menu items are limited. I did enjoy the Cuban Pot Pie.it was delicious.(beans, chicken and plantain bananas.) Breakfast buffet is not every day during the week. Dania point shopping area is the only local shopping and restaurant area close by.

First of all, I have used Marriott for the last 19 years. Some are fantastic, some are a bit worn. This was my second stay at this new property. The facility is nice, rooms clean, fitness center incredible, location ideal. Unfortunately, we found that our room had a noisy fan belt screeching from somewhere above the room. Had we noticed upon check in, we would have tried for another room. We did notice when we were in bed after midnight. We both thought we could sleep, even with the noise. In hindsight, this was a poor decision. I mentioned it to the gal at the front desk. She apologized, but nothing more. Certainly not the usual customer service that I’m accustomed to at Marriott and Bonvoy properties. My Platinum Elite status apparently did not factor in to her decision making process either. I will still come to this property on future visits. It really is nice. However, if you encounter an issue, have it addressed by staff before you unpack, as there seems to be some apathy at the front desk.

Overall a great and clean hotel amidst a shopping center full of stores, restaurants, and outdoor play areas. Shuttle - They do offer hotel shuttle service to/from the airport. Parking - Took 1/2 point because all they offer is Valet parking @ $25 per night. There is no self parking. Check in - Was very easy since we did it through the Bonvoy App. Was allowed to check in early due to early flight arrival Rooms - The rooms were clean and comfortable (2 queen beds) for a family of four. Restaurant/Bar- The food is your typical Marriott food. **Menus attached. 1/2 point taken because you are hit with a service charge, which unless asked, is the tip. Beware you don’t tip twice. Hotel - The hotel offers so much as a pool with cabanas, M Club access, plenty of areas to relax and socialize both inside and outside. **Construction going on in the area, but because we arrived on the weekend, didn’t hear anything.

A new hotel, as such very clean and modern. With hard floors and nice showers. Very good service with courteous employees. The location is a bit out of the way for an airport hotel, and the shuttle service is very slow! Even though they advertised airport shuttle service, they refused to pick me up from the airport after I dropped off my rental car! The next morning, I almost missed my flight because the shuttle made an unannounced stop on the way! I was impressed by the bartender and quality of food though.

We only stayed one night before boarding our cruise but we found our stay very refreshing because the staff were not only very friendly and accommodating but they went above and beyond their scope of work! I’d like to make mention one valet staff, BOUVIER, who went out of his way to help me buy a suitcase from one of the nearby stores! He could’ve said ‘no’ BUT he didn’t and happily did this favor for me. I am very very impressed with this young gentleman! Thank you, Bouvier! You are an gem & an asset to Marriott!

Check in was smooth, nice valet man and front desk clerk. However, I was suggested to check out the bar or the lobby restaurant since it was late evening 9-10pm upon my arrival. I figured sure why not order something convenient after traveling all day. I was wrong about convenience I was waiting over an hour for my order that was supposed to be ready in 20-30 min. I mentioned to the hotel restaurant whom did absolutely nothing. I had to go back down to the restaurant 3-4 times before my food was actually ready. Clearly there were some trouble preparing our small two entree order. I asked them to do something for us more than an apology for making us wait at least an hour more, nothing was offered.

Stayed at this Marriot location last night. The property is still very new and the rooms have a nice decor and are very clean. It wasn't terribly busy for a Saturday night. Valet was very quick and responsive. Just unfortunate that you have no other option unless you want to gamble getting towed. Unfortunately, other than the valet and bar staff, the service was less than receptive We are normally Platinum members but the pandemic drastically cut back on our travel. We are still Gold Elite and eligible for upgrades, so we weren't surprised the app showed we had an upgraded room with M Club Lounge access. When we attempted to go in, we were denied. We approached the front desk staff and inquired about access and were summarily told, the app was wrong and we only had an "upgraded room" (i.e. pool view). It just felt disingenuous and almost as if we were an inconvenience. Maybe service will eventually improve, but I recommend you stay at more established Marriot properties in the area.

  • 4/5 Kim C. 2 years ago on Google
Nice hotel, however, they don't have any suites. When I requested an upgrade to a suite prior to check in, they said they put the request in and would try to accommodate us. Why not just tell us right away? Hmmmm... concerned we'd book somewhere else, maybe? Otherwise, it was the normal fantastic experience I'd expect at a Marriott.
