Not a family-friendly or dog-friendly community. Management neglects to perform their basic duties. There are ten (10) streetlights that don’t function. Missing canopies at the pool decks, dozens of stray cats, and a vagrant who sleeps outside building 28. Highmark posts reviews of their maintenance team to google as though the resident reviewed the property, not the maintenance. Disingenuous. So much mold. Simply not a safe place to live 👎

Love the location of this rental community. This will be our third year living here. The property manager Liz is great. Nicky is also amazing always very helpful and caring. Had great experience with Brie when we initially looked into moving in. Luis from maintenance is the best!!! I trust him to go in out apartment even when we are not there and he is great in getting things repaired quickly and always with a smile and awesome attitude. Overall this is a well maintained and comfortable rental community and we will def be sad when it’s time to leave. Thank you for providing such a great experience for us. Dana Levy

We've lived here for a little over 3 years and are sad to be moving this fall due to work. Overall the community is very nice and conveniently located a mile from the beach and a little over a mile from the freeway. The leasing office is accommodating and nice (legit the nicest team I've had and I've lived in a lot of complexes) and anyone complaining about rent hikes should understand that's how the market works and compared to other properties this close to the beach their rent is fair and during the pandemic they launched a rent assistance program. We do live in an older unit, so I am not sure what the prices are for the updated ones, but the updates seem nice. The maintenance team is great, super responsive to requests and try to accomodate the best they can. Yes, there are bugs (welcome to Florida)... The property sits near mangroves so there are misquotes at night and when it gets super warm out there are ants, but there's a pest control company that comes when you make the request. If you have a dog, the property is dog friendly and there's a nice park across the street. The amenities are nice as well, two pools and a nice weight room. Overall our experience living here has been positive!

I love the amenities. The leasing staff is amazing. However, since moving here I have seen cockroaches during the daytime (a sure sign of an infestation), termites. When I put a maintenance request for cosmetic issues and extermination they were "handled" pretty quickly. However, I have sliding doors that don't stay in the bracket (and was basically just told that the doors are just that way). Giving three stars because everyone here is genuinely nice and helpful (even the staff) but whoever owns this building should grasp the concept that cheap fixes don't last.

Nearing the end of 2nd year of living here. Maintenance is great. I've only had minor issues and all have been resolved same day or within 24 hours. Grounds are very well maintained. Apartments are modern and comfortable. Office personnel are friendly and professional. The community is close to beach, restaurants, shopping centers, schools, major interstate and airport. Only suggestions I would have would be is to enforce dog breed restrictions. Overall, I love living here.

My Husband and I recently moved in and we could not be happier to have rented at Sheridan Ocean Club, this is a beautiful community, Family Friendly and very quiet and not to mention so close to the beaches, public parks and shopping!! Check out some our friends who come to visit us on our balcony!

Nicolina from the leasing office has been amazing during our application and move in process. She’s accesible and friendly. From the virtual tour to the signing of the lease, we haven’t had any issues. My impression so far is that Sheridan Ocean Club is a nice & secure community. I look forward to my future here - I also love how pet friendly the community is. Let’s not forget about the location, nothing beats living right by the beach. Thank you!

Best place to live! The staff is awesome, Maintenance took care of our request on a timely manner, and the neighbors were very cool and respectful. Erick and Mike from the leasing office were great too.

Sheridan Ocean Club Apartments provides the best of both worlds. It’s near city amenities but in an oasis of tranquility. I have thoroughly enjoyed my home here the last 2 1/2 years.

My family and I have been living here since 2015. We love the community. My child started school when we moved here first at Dania Elementary and is now a freshman in South Broward. All the schools - Dania, Olsen, and South Broward -are within walking distance and are great schools. The Maintenance service is 10 out of 10. If your AC breaks at 3 am, someone will be at your place within an hour to ensure the issue is fixed. All the staff are kind and always willing to help. Neighbors are friendly. We love the fact that we are so close to the beach and two gorgeous national parks. Supermarkets, Salons, and so many more stores are all within walking distance as well. We have been here for 7 years and have no plans on moving anytime soon. If ever :) Yearly rent goes up with a fair rate. I have nothing negative to say. If I could give this community a higher rate I would.

Leasing staff is nice and very fast on maintenance requests. However, most of the time there’s not really good security in place. The security gate is usually open and they seem to let anybody in. I noticed that people don’t live here come to this property quite often and use the gym, courts and pool. Someone told me one time that they don’t live here. Not sure how I feel about random people from community coming in here. Also, the apartments have outdated appliances (older stackable washer/dryer appliances, older cooktop stove) and the 1 bedrooms are pretty narrow and can feel quite small. There’s a dog park too which is nice but it is not well maintained well (grass is too high to walk in and lots of flooding around that area when it rains) So you can’t really use it. There’s 2 pools also but one of the pools is only open during leasing office hours and the other pool is by the gym and that pool doesn’t seem like it’s cleaned regularly. Gym is decent for what it is but still missing some essential equipment and is a bit small. Overall, the apartments and location are the best aspects of this community but don’t expect much from the amenities.

I never leave reviews, but this place deserves a great review. I've been here going on my third year and it's been very nice. Great location and if I ever have any issues they are always taken care of quickly. Mike at the leasing office has always been very helpful and quick to assist, and the team there in the office is great. Overall great place to live being next to the parks and beach is hard to find such a convenient location. With prices of apartments going high all across Florida I believe this place is priced very reasonably given its location and amenities.

I'm going for my third year living here and I love it. Everything is awesome, neighborhood, staff, dog friendly… and near to beach, even better.

This place has the worst management. They have let 2 tennis courts sit and rot for 3 years. The one last tennis court they have left they don't do anything to take care of it. The lights are off tonight, they turn the sprinkler systems on the court when people are playing so that people can possibly slip and fall when playing, they just don't do anything to take care of their property. And when you tell them about it or make a complaint they do absolutely nothing.

My 5 months of experience in Sheridan Ocean Club Apts are all good. Anytime I needed maintenance service it was taken care of the next day if not the same day. Pool and gym is always available, clean and secure. The lanscape is taken care of periodically . I am happy and I think this complex is managed well.

I've been at Sheridan Ocean Club for 4 months now. I like the community, but there is a huge mosquito problem. You guys should definitely spray the whole community often and fix this issue. I can't enjoy my balcony at all.

Leasing staff is friendly, responsive, and helpful. Apartments have been great so far. And one day my AC broke, and Jose on the maintenance team was very helpful and got the air conditioner fixed for me fast. Thanks Jose!

I am extremely pleased to inform you that Yuniel, the maintenance technician who provided us with the services, did the job very well and He completed it in a timely manner, He is cool guy and friendly, Also, Don Luis (Mi Tocayo) and his kid are always checking with me if everything is working well in my apartment. I have lived many years at Sheridan Ocean Club and could not be happier. The location is fabulous - a bike ride to the beach. Publix and Walgreens very close by. Location! Location! I have always had amazing response from the office and the maintenance department is top notch. Due to the recent rains a few months ago - the maintenance dept. did an excellent job and contractors were called in to take care of any problems residents were having. Jose, Juan and Luis to name a few are very personable and very competent in taking care of any problems residents are having. The office staff have always been polite and helpful with any problems that I had recently being in one of the older apartments. Also, did I mention this is one of the few pet friendly communities near the beach and most of the residents are very friendly - it is a great place to live!

Luis Angel provided maintenance services today at my apartment and he was professional and did a great job. My AC was on the fritz and he came within less than 12 hours to come and address. I was told the unit on the roof needed to be replaced and that is scheduled for tomorrow. He gave me a portable unit just in case my AC gave out overnight. What a great guy!? Thanks Luis!

I love this neighborhood. It’s beautiful, the location is superb, and the amenities are wonderful. However, your packages are not safe here. This is the 5th time I’ve had a package marked “delivered”, and nowhere to be found. Sometimes there will be pictures that the mail carrier leaves it by the mailbox , and if I’m not home soon enough or able to run down stairs and grab it, It’s gone by the time I get a chance. I don’t understand how we can have such a beautiful neighborhood with NO cameras by the mailbox areas. There is an amazon locker room, but we cannot use it for fed ex, usps , or other carriers.We should have the Amazon room as a general mail room , have packages delivered to the leasing office, or get some cameras by the mailboxes. And while I’m here , it would be cool if we could use the Amazon hub for Amazon returns too but my main concern is stolen packages :(

The maintenance worker was AMAZING, he was efficient, quick and thorough. I'm certain the entire team at Sheridan Ocean has the same work ethics. That dude was the best.

Positive: Very helpful staff! Erick always went above and beyond with my maintenance requests and other concerns. The maintenance staff is friendly. Signed the lease during the pandemic and the price was very acceptable. Negative: Too many bugs, including roaches, ants, and lizzards. The buildings are old, so when it rains, the rain will leak and cause mold. Amenities are outdated.

Moved here from ND about 2 months ago. This community was an absolute gem to find! We were able to do a video tour and choose our new home without having to pay to fly here and scope out the area. The community itself is SO beautiful. It is surrounded by nature, a 15-20 min walk to the beach (once bridge opens back up), in between Ft. Lauderdale & Miami, and has any amenity you could ask for within 2-10 min drive. Also it is so convenient that it is so close to major roadways. Some apartments are newly renovated and the community is equipped with two pools. All apartments have a smart thermostat, water alarm, and lock so you do not have to bring keys with you and can control it all from your phone. I would say the main downside to the community is the small gym. Shoutout to Michael for being the best leasing agent I have ever worked with. He is so friendly, kind, answers questions thoroughly and I know I can rely on him to help with any situation that may arise. He made our moving experience a breeze & I couldn't be more thankful!

Overall this is a nice community with pleasant and responsive staff. Fortunately I moved into a renovated apartment so everything is new and fresh.The washer/dryer was an older one but after issues it was replaced without delay. The positives are the staff, the renovated unit, gym, plenty of parking, and landscaping. The negatives are the gate is not always secure, oftentimes the gate is open due to mechanic issues or no guard staff (maybe they go on break). It seems like people hit the arm and it is knocked off every other week. Elevators are hit or miss. They are old and we were told they are scheduled for replacement but I don't know when. We chose 2nd floor rather than 3rd for this reason.

Super excited to call Sheridan our new home. From start to finish the experience at Sheridan Ocean Club has been amazing. Michael C. Our Leasing specialist has made the process so simple and so welcoming.

The entire staff and management is exceptional and friendly. I Moved in a few weeks ago with no hiccups or drama. Very smooth. Let's not forget the maintenance staff as well. They also do a great job and is very responsive !!
