Dr. Newton M.D. and his assistant during my visit were very professional, courteous and at ease. Both answered all my questions and made sure that I was comfortable during my annual checkup and very small procedure. I was not so happy with was the way I was treated when I went to check out. The person that I spoke with was dry, unfriendly and seemed to be bothered that I questioned the amount owed verses my co-pay. She simple said "we are specialist and that's just how your insurance works, 20/80 no co-pay". Would have been good to know this ahead of time??? I got the feeling she really didn't care one way or the other about my concerns and to just pay the bill. The medical staff an A+ but the administrative staff I met get an D- at best.

Lexi was fantastic with my kiddo who has terrible anxiety when it comes to doctors and any type of procedure. It typically takes quite a bit of patience. Lexi made sure to explain each step and take her time. When a biopsy was required my daughter began to panic a bit. Lexi gave her some water and left us to chat for a few minutes so my daughter could calm down. The biopsy was quick and painless. From check in to check out, the visit was great. Highly recommend this team!

The service I received by getting an early appointment deserves five stars. However, I had challenges with the prescription. It took two trips to CVS, several phone calls (could not connect with anyone) and a return trip to the Flower Mound office to get the prescription issue resolved.

Dr. Lexi and her assistant were amazing. She was able to diagnose my issue quickly and the treatment plan is working. I feel very comfortable and at ease with her.

Amanda was very thorough in explaining both what she was looking for and answering my quesitons. I did not feel she was rushing the appointment and even found a troublesome area I had not come into the office for and prescribed medication to take care of it. I will definitely be making all my future appointments with her.

Jillian and Lexi were wonderful. Made you feel so comfortable. Will be back and only want them and Dr Kesani my regular doctor there. Outstanding practice. Front desk friendly too.

Amanda is one of the most caring medical professionals I know. She knows her stuff and she acknowledges you as a person not just another patient on her schedule. She is very dedicated to her job. I highly recommend her!

Dr. McGuiness is one of the most professional and caring physicians I have ever encountered. He doesn't rush you in and out. In fact, after the exam he'll sit and have a conversation with you about your care and what's going on in your life. Very seldon do you meet a physician who cares this much about his patients.

Although my family visits Dr. McGuiness yearly, I haven’t been to see him in 12 years! As I’ve aged, the “brown spots” have increased,. It was time to go see him. To my absolute amazement, he remembered me; and even remembered conversations we had all those years ago. We talked like I had just been in his office yesterday! Dr McGuiness’s attentive nature and fabulous bed side mannerism is a rare find. I worked in the medical field for 12 years previously, and having a Dr. that truly spends “time” with his patients is huge! Having a “full body” skin exam, I was not sure what to expect. He was remarkable! He made the entire visit comfortable; explaining everything as the appointment went on. I was actually at ease during the exam. Honestly, the whole staff was amazing! So much so, that I actually booked my yearly visit with him for 2024! I’ll be back! Heck! I may even look into his plastic surgery services too! 😊

Dr. McGuiness is a great provider. He has excellent bedside manner, his visits are never rushed, and he truly partners with his patients to come up with treatment plans to address their concerns. I never leave my appointments with any uncertainty, or questions. I’ve been a patient at McGuiness Dermatology for almost 2 years now, and have visited his Murphy, Plano, and Flower Mound locations; all are beautiful. The girls at the office are also always very kind and helpful. I highly recommend this office for any dermatology, med spa, or plastic surgery needs!

Disappointing after reading so many good reviews. I need to establish a skin doctor in Texas since I moved back to town. The PA did a skin check, but hardly had time to discuss my other issue and said I needed to make another appointment?!?! I'm a new patient...make time! She wouldn't provide me with the prescription I was on from my previous dermatologist in Colorado. And the billing office would not file my claim with my insurance. They claim they were a specialist and I had to do it myself. Yet, my neurologist is a specialist and they filed it on my behalf. I had heard nothing, but good things, and instead I left with nothing I needed and a $296 selfpay bill.

Front staff is very pleasant and polite. Amanda really wants to provide you with the correct procedure for your issues. Will continue to use them for any new issues that may occur.

Friendly and Efficient staff front desk staff. You are made comfortable from start to finish. A short wait fir exam is a plus. Amanda Lark is the best. Puts you at ease. Thorough exam with explanations during exam.

Dr Lexi and her assistant were phenomenal. Her assistant had the bubbly yet calming demeanor that I really appreciated especially for my first visit. Dr Lexi put me at ease by explaining exactly what she was going to do and talking to me as she went through. I will definitely continue to come here for my next yearly skin checks!

Our visit with Amanda and her nurse was the best experience I have ever had in a doctor’s office and I am nearly 50 years old! She took the time to explain everything to us on a lever that me and my 14 year old daughter both understood. She was patient and very respectful in the way she did her examinations. We both felt so great about our treatment plans because we have so much confidence in Amanda. She truly has a heart for her patients. Her nurse (I’m sorry I did not get the name) was top notch as well. You have two outstanding individuals and I am very grateful to them both! Tasha Leuzinger

I was able to be seen at my scheduled appointment time. The Dr. explained everything clearly and got my next visit set up very quickly. The atmosphere was pleasant and the overall experience was terrific. Great job everyone!

I’ve always felt very confident regarding any procedures or routine skin checks at the FM office. My last visit was with Dr. Newton. He was very thorough. He and his Asst. we’re both very professional, personable and caring. I recommend this office to my friends on a regular basis.

Great office. Lexi and team made it super easy to talk to. Great care to understand your concerns. Would be great if they implemented an online portal for filling out paperwork. Or check-in pads. 12+pages on a clipboard is super 1990s ;).

Although my experience with Dr Newton was alright I was annoyed to have to wait over an hour to be seen. My appointment was for 11:15 am. & I arrived 25 minutes early. I wasn't seen until about 12:20 pm. I overheard Dr. Newton arrive at the office about 20 min before he actually saw me. He was pleasant, but there was no apology for making me wait so long. Not a great first impression. The front desk staff & nurses were great, but no apologies from them either. I'll give them one more chance, but not what I was expecting.

I had a great experience with Amanda Lark and all the staff. My surgery was conducted very efficiently and I was talked through the entire process as it was happening and felt very safe and cared for throughout. After care was explained thoroughly and I even got a call from Amanda that evening to check on how I was doing. I very much felt important and cared for which was a huge comfort.

Very courteous and personable. Amanda and her assistant Wendy, made me feel comfortable during my skin exam. They don't push products. They only recommend what I needed for my skin. Amanda talked with me about sun exposure and discussed measures I needed to take to protect my skin. She also gave me a sample of Heliocare to try. Before I left, she also gave me a pamphlet that showed me how to check my skin between Annual Exams. 👍👍😀😀
